Celestial Waves

Based in Windcrest, TX, Celestial Waves offers wedding officiant services. Owner Jill Scoggins founded the company in 2004 with the intention of running a health and wellness business. Over the years, the business has grown, and Jill is now an ordained minister and reiki master who specializes in energy healing. Jill can officiate weddings of almost any kind, including interfaith ceremonies, non-religious ceremonies, elopements, and civil unions. As well as officiating your wedding, Jill also offers premarital counseling. She would be honored to help bring your wedding vision to life. Jill believes that finding joy in your companion is a blessing. Being able to share this blessing with friends and family is a joy. She would love to help you celebrate these blessings and joys with others or just privately amongst yourselves through ceremony and ritual. Jill's very first experience with creating a wedding was her own. She wanted a unique ceremony that incorporated her whole blended family while also honoring her and her partner's Buddhist and Pantheistic beliefs. She designed a Pagan-inspired ceremony that included vows with her children and an individual blessing ceremony that all her guests could participate in. This wedding was featured in the San Antonio Bridal Magazine and also marked the beginning of Celestial Waves. For Jill, there is no such thing as a "cookie cutter" wedding. She strives to create ceremonies that celebrate her client's unique beliefs and personalities in every detail. She is a registered minister with Universal Life Church and American Marriage Ministries. She is also an ordained shamanic minister through The Audacious Spirit and a Bardic Grade member of OBOD: Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. Throughout her career, Jill has studied many religions and practices and has integrated them into her life and work. Inclusivity is important to Jill. She believes a commitment celebration doesn't have to be legal to be strong and enduring. Sometimes, just committing to each other through ritual is all that is needed or wanted. She has experience performing legal vow exchanges, commitment rituals, and all kinds of spiritual blessings. She would love to work with you to celebrate your unique and joyful life.
