Nuestros familiares que vinieron de otros paises para asistir a la boda se sintieron muy agusto y conectados durante toda la ceremonia. Recomiendo al reverendo Martinez a cualquier persona que desee una ceremonia emotiva, personal, y a la misma vez divertida.

He showed us a few scripts of other ceremonies he had performed and that made me feel very comfortable because I got to see the quality of his work. ut, I already paid the deposit. A week before getting married, I did not get a script or a ceremony outline as we discussed. I called him and he said I would receive it a week before which was worrisome because we were already at that deadline. He was unclear about the time of the wedding despite the fact that we signed the contract. He argued with me and told me that he signed the contract with a 6pm start and so I had to send him a copy of the contract that had a 5:30 start. He kept calling my now husband Andrew which I kept correcting him because that is not his name. I definitely told him he needed to stop doing that because the wedding is our very special day. The night before the wedding I spoke to him just to clarify my wedding time line. Day of the wedding: Marlon agreed and wrote in the contract that he would be there two hours before. The wedding started at 5:30 and my wedding planner was absolutely besides herself because he still hadn’t arrived. He would answer phone calls and then finally he picked up well after 5:30 saying he was in the parking lot. 30 moms later he still hasn’t arrived. Now an hour late, he arrived without an apology. Without checking in with my he started the wedding. He called me husband Andrew. Didn’t mention anything about our love and relationship as we previously discussed. He referred to marriage as dying grass that was once green but will turn yellow. He wasn’t prepared and it showed. Our loves reacted with disappointment with his references of marriage. We were so angry and disappointed. I corrected him numerous times during the wedding ceremony as he referred to my husband as Andrew. (Not his name) After the wedding he demanded a picture even though we are now an hour behind into our reception. He never apologized. Didn’t offer a cheaper price for cheating us on an hour of our wedding and reception. . He blamed us for having a wedding in Oxnard on a Friday. He was rude to our parents who were our witness. He didn’t send us confirmation of sending our wedding license so we were so worried that he wouldn’t follow through. We finally got him to at least send us a receipt for mailing it. Brides do not use his services!!!

Simply because that is the person who was going to unify our love and that was something very crucial to us. When we found Marlon we immediately stop looking. We knew he was going to bring that peace and harmony to our wedding ceremony and that is exactly what he did. Marlon made every feel welcome and reminded everyone they were all at our wedding because of the love between my husband and I. It was very touching, spiritual, and beautiful.
