Celia was absolutely fantastic! She made our day all the more special with her positive energy. Her ability to capture our 11 year relationship in a 17 minute ceremony, was truly impressive; So much so, that some of our guests came to us and asked if she was a family friend. We are both truly grateful to have had Celia be the one to marry us. If you want someone who is down to earth, thoughtful, and attentive; Then you need to pick Celia.
Celia was amazing! She was always so easy to get a hold of and really made sure she had all of the details to run a perfect ceremony the day of the wedding! Celia wanted all of the information about our relationship to ensure a personalized ceremony speech. She was absolutely perfect and wrote the sweetest story of our love and the vows we were taking on our wedding day. I highly recommend celia as your officiant!

From the moment I contacted Celia Milton for my wedding she made me feel so comfortable. Celia took the time to get to know me and my family. She was so friendly and inviting yet very professional! It was as if I was chatting with an old friend. Her professionalism was top tier and her attention to details to give a perfect and beautiful narrative of our lives and family dynamic was icing on the cake. At our ceremony there was a perfect balance of laughter and happy tears. I could not have created a more perfect ceremony if I tried. Celia Milton is the perfect balance of officiant and friend. Our ceremony was the highlight of our entire wedding! We wanted our wedding to really focus on my husband and I and our life together (our hobbies, our passions, our achievements, our story). Celia did an amazing job doing just that!! All of our family and friends would not stop complimenting us on how wonderful our ceremony was. They all felt like they got to learn about us as a couple which made the whole thing feel even more special to them. My (now) husband and I loved how she included passages about nature (we got married in a garden in the woods) and heart felt poems that really showcased our journey as a couple. She did an amazing job including a shoutout to our dog Gizmo as well. She was great to work with and really fun to talk to on the phone during our planning calls. Definitely would recommend her for anyone planning a wedding! :)

Celia and her team are amazing to work with! We selected them to officiate our wedding, and while Celia was not available on our date, 5/11/24, Michael Yelle was incredible. His questionnaire was very detail oriented, and he takes his time putting together his words. Michael perfectly balanced our story with laughs and tears - our guests raved about his delivery, and some were convinced he was one of our friends telling our love story firsthand. Behind the scenes, he removed the stress of creating vows and delivered a memorable experience for the rest of our lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! 11 out of 10 recommend.

Highly recommend Celia Milton for your wedding! Every moment of our ceremony was so sweet and the way Celia recited our love story it sounded like a fairy tale! Celias extremely personable and calm energy made for a perfect flow of the ceremony. Her authenticity made it extremely easy for us to open up to her and she was super responsive to any of our questions we had throughout the entire wedding planning journey. Celia was one of the easiest vendors to work with! She made us feel like we knew her for years!! Before our wedding, Celia did a few meetings with us to make sure our ceremony was exactly how WE wanted it. All of our guests were raving about her and what a great job she did!! We worked with Celia from day one, when it was a small wedding in an arboretum to a full wedding. She provides you with a list of preferred professionals who are an incredible resource and we are so grateful because she was our first real guide to make this wedding happen.
Celia answers all our questions in a detailed and helpful manner.
Filling our her forms, we fell in love with each other once again, and the ceremony was heartfelt, bright, and unique. She absolutely captured our hearts on this day.

Celia was our officiant for our April 2023 wedding at Ballyowen Golf Club in Hamburg, NJ. Not only is she very experienced in the industry, but is extremely personable and got to know us on a personal level to ensure that our ceremony reflected us as individuals and as a couple. Celia provided options for us to ensure we got our marriage license in our quick timeline (while we were living in different states!). Celia gave suggestions for the structure and content of her speech, and was open to any feedback before it was finalized. She also asked us to fill out a questionnaire to ensure that she knew everything she needed to know about us. We received many compliments from our guests about how much they loved Celia’s ceremony speech. We definitely recommend Celia for your wedding!

Michael was our officiant for our Sept 30 2023 and he was fantastic! The entire process with Celia and Michael made both hiring an officiant and obtaining a marriage license seamless. We first spoke to Celia for about an hour about what we did and did not want and she had a million great ideas to share which was very helpful as we had seen very few nonreligious wedding ceremonies and barely knew where to start. Michael then crafted our ceremony, keeping us updated every step of the way. Most importantly to us, Celia and Michael showed many times over how much they cared about getting to know us and getting our story just right. They are both highly personable and genuinely interested in the stories of the couples they have as clients. We had many guests come up to us after the ceremony to both tell us how beautiful and moving it was but also to ask if we knew Michael personally because he really seemed to know us! Michael was also a star at including our dog in the ceremony, which was his idea and a touch everyone appreciated. We cannot thank Celia and Michael enough for their time and effort in creating our ceremony. They are also very professional and respond to inquiries quickly. We felt their pricing was reasonable and that the process was very transparent. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a special ceremony!

Celia made our day so special. She's funny, thoughtful and extremely helpful in all aspects from the writing of the ceremony, vows, and even post/pre wedding paperwork. It was the perfect level of relaxed and personalized that we wanted. Michael Yelle is a wonderful officiant and person. We reached out to Michael at the last minute, after our scheduled officiant wasn’t able to make it. He met us within the hour! We wanted to get married in a park, so he suggested we meet at a lovely local park with a waterfall. Michael answered all our questions, led a heartfelt service, and sent a thorough follow-up email with next steps. He is kind, sincere, and it felt like we had known him for years. Working with Celia Milton was wonderful. She wasn't available so Cari was our officiant and she was delightful. She was always willing to jump on the phone for a call any time we had questions. When she gave us a draft of her ceremony script she told us to run wild with it. She was so encouraging of us making the ceremony exactly what we wanted. My husband used her script as a jumping off point and inserted a lot of anecdotes and relationship tidbits so it was more personal to us and our story. And Cari's sing-song voice and cheery cadence made the moment so light (which definitely helped to ease my nerves and stage fright too!)
Celia did an amazing job at our wedding!! She made the ceremony very personal and so darn sweet! I don't think there was a dry eye in the building. She even went out of her way to send me info on how to change my last name, which is super helpful!! Because wow that is a process. You won't regret going with Celia for your wedding, I promise.

Chatting with her was effortless, and you sense her genuine excitement for the couples she's working with and has married in the past. When we were looking for an officiant we were not sure what we wanted but for the first time we spoke to Celia we just knew! She was super helpful and it felt like she was 100% invested in our love story. We were lucky enough to work with Michael for the ceremony and he somehow totally understand our story from only a few short interactions…truly incredible! All of our guests commented after the ceremony that it felt like Michael knew us since we first started dating. He made time for humor and sentiment and our ceremony was so special. We are so happy we went with Celia and Michael for our officiant! For our 10/21/22 wedding, we worked with Michael and he was nothing short of amazing!! Celia was absolutely amazing! We cannot say anything more about how incredible she is. Much like our other vendors, she was a one done for us. From the minute we spoke with her partner at a bridal show, we knew we had found our officiant. She is always so upbeat, happy, and such a pleasure to speak with. Every call we had always left us smiling and laughing. Celia even knew all of our other vendors and had worked with them all previously, and had nothing but great things to say about every one of them. She also knew exactly what we needed as a couple. The ceremony and vows she wrote for us captured us perfectly, almost like she had been a long time friend. My best friend, who is recently engaged, said to me she wished she could book Celia for her own wedding, but unfortunately my friend lives in Texas (not sure if Celia would be willing to travel that far lol). Though I have been recommending her to local brides as well. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is - I wish I had more words but I’ve run out of adjectives to describe our wonderful experience.

Cari is an absolute dream!!!! My husband and I could not have been happier with our ceremony. When I first reached out to Celia, she was not available for our wedding date and recommended I connect with Cari, and assured me I would love her. And she was right!!! I could talk to Cari all day, she is so incredibly sweet, helpful, and truly wants to get to know you, your husband, and your love story. We received a questionnaire to fill out to help her to draft our ceremony and it was so fun to complete. After she sent us back our first draft of the ceremony, I was in awe. It was perfect and she told our story so well. She shared many options for readings which was incredibly helpful. We worked with Michael Yelle and he did a fantastic job! So many of my guests thought that we knew Michael personally based on the way he conducted the ceremony, but the only time we met him in person was the day of the wedding. We spent hours on the phone with both Celia and Michael talking about our lives and they were able to craft the perfect ceremony based on our conversations and a thorough questionnaire. We were able to see the ceremony script ahead of time and make sure it captured what exactly we wanted. Our guests raved about our ceremony!!
Celia was the best choice we made to officiate our ceremony. From the first moment we talked to her, we knew we wanted to have her be our officiant. She was attentive, funny, caring and extremely easy to talk to. She listened to exactly what me and my husband wanted in the ceremony and her suggestions completely brought our whole vision to life. I waited a little late to book an officiant - like maybe 6 weeks in advance! I found Celia Milton Officiants and after chatting with Celia, she put me in touch with Cari. Cari was absolutely awesome from our first phone call. I was a bit anxious because I felt I waited too late, but she assured me that she could put together a beautiful personalized ceremony - and did she deliver!! After chatting with her on the phone and filling out questionnaires about ourselves and our relationship, Cari put together such a lovey ceremony. I cried when I read the draft! She helped us to pick out readings for our godmothers and planned a lovely rose ceremony for our mothers.

We were having a lot of trouble finding a wedding officiant until we found Ceila. She was very friendly and personable and loved to chat with us during the wedding planning. It was great that she was so amendable to changing and having us review her speech and helping us write our own vows along with printing them in a nice booklet for us. Three weeks before my wedding, I found myself anxious as the officiant I had booked was not replying to my emails and had not provided any information as to what our day would look like. In a panic, I started looking for recommendations and Celia Milton was recommended by both my venue and my town municipal office.
We called Celia and had the most amazing time. She instantly made us feel at ease and excited. Celia was not available on our day, but luckily, Cari was. We had an amazing discovery call with Celia and she gave us so many amazing ideas. A day or two later, we connected with Cari. We were able to tell immediately that Cari loved what she did and she went out of her way to give us a beautiful ceremony on such short notice. She had a very through call with us, sent us a questionaire, and in a few days had a rough draft of a script to us with multiple readings to chose from. We only had a few minor edits, and we had a perfect and personalized script.
The day of the wedding, Cari gave us the most beautiful ceremony we could imagine. She read so beautifully - her ceremony was so beautiful and personal, and most of all uplifting. Her word choices were modern and constructive. And her delivery was incredible. She has the most beautiful voice - some of our guests were hard of hearing and we were told that they were able to hear her perfectly, she enunciated so well.
My only regret is that I didn't find Celia and Cari sooner so I could have spent even more time getting to know them. Amazing energy, amazing people. BOOK THEM! They are the best.

Celia was great –positive, lighthearted, and uplifting vibe. She was fun to talk to and easy to work with. We knew right from the start of our first conversation with Celia that we would choose her to be our officiant. Our ceremony was perfect – serious enough for the weight of a wedding, but also fun. She had great ideas, and had us approve the script ahead of time. She was open to all of our edits as well and wasn’t offended by our changes. Communicating details leading up to the day was a little difficult, there could have been a little more organization, but everything worked out in the end. Celia also filed our marriage certificate for us and sent us instructions on what happens next and how to get it, which was so helpful. After the ceremony all of our guests were asking how we knew her because they were all sure she was an old family friend. It was perfect. We highly recommend Celia!
We struggled for a long time finding our officiant, but we’re so glad we ended up with Cari! She was so friendly and wonderful to work with before, during, and after the ceremony. She is so personable and easy to talk to, which makes it the ceremony feel very intimate, as she’s able to add touches that are truly personal to you! We can’t recommend her enough (as well as Celia, who connected us with her and was just as personable and wonderful to work with!).

Our most reoccurring compliment at the wedding was about her and our ceremony. We felt she really got to know us and our story and reflected it beautifully in the ceremony she wrote and put together. Not enough words to say how fabulous our experience with! First off we were very lazy about looking for an officiant because we were nervous! We didn’t know how we would select them and how we would make the choice. We searched and searched and spoke to about 5 people. They were all just OK. But once we chatted with Celia it just clicked. She was real with us, open, and really funny! She was super sweet and thoughtful and sympathetic to our situation of having multiple postponements. Once we booked her the rest of the experience was just so smooth. She worked with us and let us review our ceremony script multiple times until we were happy. She gave us tons of ideas since we weren’t sure what we wanted to do with the ceremony. Afterwards, she handled all the paperwork for us and was very prompt with making sure all the legal stuff was taken care of. She is a such a pro and we are forever grateful for her. The beautiful words she said during our ceremony is something we will never forget.

Celia was absolutely the best choice we could have made for our wedding ceremony. She was incredibly kind and excited to work with us to achieve our vision. Her questionnaires not only allowed her to get out know us but also enabled her to tell the story of our relationship and personalize the ceremony in a way I have not seen before. She was incredible to work with: always answered emails quickly, very flexible, was always available to hop on a phone call, and provided us with all of the license/certificate info. We've had the joy of having Celia be our officiant for both our COVID mini-wedding (in August 2020), and the wedding/reception we postponed (August 2021). Celia is genuine, accommodating, funny, and such a pleasure to work with! When we were (finally) able to have the wedding ceremony we originally envisioned in August 2021, Celia really made it special not just for us, but for our guests too. Celia took care of a stressful turn of events before I even knew it happened. I got a voicemail saying our officiant would be unable to perform our ceremony less than 48 hours before our wedding, but the voicemail on my phone did not say I needed to find myself someone knew. The message was from Celia telling me not to worry because she would step right in for our wedding. In less than 2 days, she created a really special ceremony for us. Many of our guests let us know they loved her - she made them feel included and they were surprised she created such a perfect ceremony for us with only 2 last minute phone conversations. She was flexible in including the vows we wanted but added her own touches that were just right for us. Plus, she was efficient and very helpful with the license/certificate process. I was drawn to Celia immediately based on her reviews and videos, she truly made her ceremonies about the couple and their love story. When Celia was unavailable she recommended Cari. Cari was the best decision we made for our Ceremony. Cari created a completely unique ceremony for us that told our love story and even helped chose readings for our family members. We wanted our ceremony to make you laugh but also be touching and have our guests feel apart of our story. My husband and I strongly recommend Celia to officiate your wedding! Only a few short weeks before our wedding, we suddenly found ourselves without an officiant. We feel so lucky that she was available on our big day. She was a pleasure to work with from our initial phone call. She asked us questions about how we met, what we are looking for in a ceremony, and shared some of her ideas and suggestions with us. Both Celia and Michael were wonderful to work with for our wedding! We had to change our wedding date twice and they were so flexible. Celia and Michael were always on top of communication and helped with any questions I had before, during, and after our wedding.

Finding an officiant when you don't have someone you have direct ties to is tricky. We were so fortunate to link up with Michael. He delivered one of the most beautiful and entertaining ceremonies I have ever witnessed, I may be biased but our guests can back me up here. It was as if he knew us for years! He truly takes the time to find your story and make it your own. If you're looking for something more cookie-cutter I'm sure he would create a beautiful ceremony as well but if you're looking for something that stands out and truly speaks to who you are as a couple, Michael is the officiant for you! He is extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process. The way he builds your script is very fluid how it evolves so even if you're not the best with putting your feelings into words he's got you! In such an overwhelming time, his ease is incredibly refreshing. We will forever be grateful for Michael for being such an important part of our day! We booked Celia early on into our 2-year engagement and as soon as we met her, there was no one else that we could go with that would be better! Celia presented with both an easy going, hilarious personality….and also a serious respect for the important occasion that she was going to be a part of. Throughout the wedding planning and covid quarantine process, Celia would check in with us to make sure we were holding up ok and to answer all of our questions. Celia Milton Wedding Officiant’s was the best decision we made for our ceremony! My initial conversation was with Celia and she provided me with so much helpful information. Her personality is awesome and she is so kind! We worked with Michael for our ceremony and he was just as awesome and kind - he really took the time to get to know my husband & I and the story of our relationship. My guests are still talking about how beautiful the ceremony was. Michael provided us with information on how to go about getting a marriage license (not the easiest to figure out on my own mid COVID!). For the ceremony, he had such a beautiful reading about my husband & me. He told our story better than we could! There were happy tears, laughter, it was all around the most amazing experience we’ve had! There is not enough room for me to describe how amazing Michael was. On top of everything, after our wedding he even provided us with information on how to go about getting certified copies of our marriage license and also how to go about changing my last name & all of my documentation that I would need to change as well. We are all around pleased with Celia Milton Wedding Officiant’s! They were extremely easy to work with which is refreshing for any bride planning a wedding during COVID!

How do I do Celia justice with this review?! No pressure...Celia is INCREDIBLE to work with! She has a real PASSION for joining love together. We asked Celia to preform our wedding ceremony right after we picked our venue. Things were going great until the dreaded PANDEMIC (cue gloomy music). Thankfully our friends and family were ok but so many wedding related things went wrong for us during this time. Celia stuck with us! She was totally onboard for our plan B, the backyard wedding. Using her past EVENT PLANNING skills she helped us find caterers and servers. The ceremony she preformed was so BEAUTIFUL!! I am getting teary eyed just thinking about it again. The readings she chose were unique to us and only us. You would've thought she knew us all our lives. She kept us so involved in the planning. She kept us laughing and made us feel comfortable. It did not feel like a stranger was marrying us but rather, it felt like a friend was marrying us. My husband and I could not be more GRATEFUL for Celia and her beautiful ceremony she presented us with.
