To stay within our budget, we decided to go with one of her associate photographers, and we weren’t quite sure what to expect at first. But the experience could not have been smoother. Our associate photographer, Kyra, was absolutely amazing. During both our engagement shoot and our wedding day, she was constantly hyping us up, making us feel comfortable, confident, and like our best selves. Her energy was relaxed, fun, and genuine, and by the end of everything, she truly felt like a friend.

isia and her associates are professional, responsive, and welcoming. We absolutely love Celisia's editing style, and we loved how fun and stress-free Marina made both our engagement shoot and wedding day. We were able to get all of the shots on our shot list, and Marina and our second shooter, Morgan, came up with even more amazing photo ideas that turned out AMAZING. They both truly have such a creative gift when it comes to seeing a photo opportunity and were able to execute it perfectly, and Celisia was able to edit those shots in the most BEAUTIFUL way. Celisia also helped us create a custom wedding day photography timeline based on the shots we wanted and the number of hours of coverage we chose, which was SO helpful. We got almost 100 pictures included in our sneak peeks (which included shots from an intimate church ceremony we had done the night before, plus some candids of the groom's dinner, and shots from our reception/outdoor ceremony from our wedding day), and we absolutely adore every single picture so far. Marina and Morgan were able to capture so many heartfelt candid moments, which I am SO grateful for, and I know both my husband and I will cherish these pictures for a lifetime. I truly cannot recommend Celisia and her team enough, and we will be using her for all of our photography needs in the future. If you are on the fence about booking her...DO IT! Ceri was our day-of photographer, and we had an absolute blast with her! Ceri made everyone feel so relaxed, was so funny and sweet, and took some absolutely stunning pictures of us, our guests, and many special details and moments throughout the day.
We received sneak peaks of the photos within 2 weeks of our wedding, and our full online gallery was sent to us in under 8 weeks. lan, and then Colette (associate) was our photographer for the day. Celisia was super helpful and friendly. She built a schedule for the day, which we then used for ourselves and other vendors. She was also flexible with our needs, and informative. We had no idea where to start, and she made the process so easy.
Colette was absolutely wonderful. She made us (and everyone else) feel comfortable in front of the camera with her laid-back and bubbly demeanor, and rolled with the punches with ease. She told us exactly how to pose to get beautiful photos, but in such a way that we didn’t even really notice she was doing it. It felt very natural. She was also incredibly efficient, so photos took less time than we expected, giving us more precious time with family and friends. We received our photos (so many!) very quickly, and they are gorgeous and fun! We absolutely adore them, will treasure them for the rest of our lives, and would not change a thing.

Both photographers were punctual and extremely professional, not to mention the photos turned out great. The directions they gave us were easy to follow and they found some great spots at our venue despite never having been there before. We really enjoyed Celesia’s editing style and were impressed with the turnaround on the pictures. We got a sneak peek just three days after the wedding which let us post professional photos while still on our honeymoon. Overall we highly recommend booking through Celisia Stanton photography.

Celisia was communicative and super helpful at helping us figure out what we wanted and provided a ton of resources for how to prepare for our shoot. Though my boo and I were nervous and even though it was SO cold that day, the associate that took our photos was so much fun and fantastic to work with.
Not even 48 hours later, we had a sneak peek of our photos that had both me and my fiancé crying. Our love and personalities were captured so perfectly! I would totally recommend Celisia Stanton Photography for anyone looking for authentic and fun photos.

Celisia has a knack of making you feel so comfortable right away. It was so fun taking photos with her and her associates. Turnaround for the edited photos was quick and we were shocked at how many sneak peeks we received. ld have the photos really reflect the day for what it was. Celisia did just that. When we were meeting with photographers, she came up with packages that fit our needs, she was really comfortable to work with (also helps that she and I went to school together back in the day), and brought a lot of energy to the shoots. Something that I looked at a lot when it came to photographers was the ethnic and racial diversity of their portfolios. I knew that was something important to Celisia, and that's what sealed the deal for me.
Not unrelated, but just a great tidbit, during our couples' pictures before the ceremony, I went to pose with my husband and my leg just cramped up, I had to cling to him to keep from falling over. Jessica, the second shooter, offered to go grab water and basically made it to the basement of the church and back outside in less than five minutes. The rest of that portion they both made sure that I hydrated and break if needed. It was a great experience, and we really appreciated the ease and respectfulness they had for our venue when taking pictures.
We've gotten lots of compliments about all of our pictures since receiving the full gallery back. Overall, an amazing experience, would highly recommend, and support Black businesses, especially professional services like photography!

When we met for our engagement photos, we were immediately at ease in front of the camera. She made it so much fun! When we received our engagement photos, I was in tears because she captured the two of us so well.
What can I say about our wedding pictures? Celisia is so organized! She had us fill out a questionnaire to describe details that were important to us, along with a photo shot list. It made wrangling family after the ceremony a complete breeze!
It's been a few weeks since we received our wedding pictures and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't look at them. They are absolutely gorgeous and I love how natural they are! Celisia captured every amazing moment of our most perfect day.
Because we loved working with her, we set up a session with us and our dogs. Minus one of the dogs barking the first 10 minutes, she captured so many beautiful moments.
I am beyond happy with everything she has done for us and highly recommend working with her. We truly hope she continues to capture our memories for a long time to come.

but she made the session super fun and easy! She gave us enough direction to keep the session moving, but never forced anything that made us feel unlike ourselves. She also brought a portable speaker and played music in the background, which helped us relax.
Since we loved our engagement photos and all of the natural lighting, Celisia was also our wedding photographer. She was super organized leading up to the day of, and asked us to fill a timeline out for her. The day of our wedding, she definitely kept us on track and on time! We added a few group photos at the last second, and Celisia just rolled with it. She and her assistant were super sweet, and made photos a breeze. Celisia even gave us a few printed out photos THE SAME DAY of our wedding before they left for the evening. A few days later, we got a ton of sneak peak photos and they are GORGEOUS. I’ve looked at them every day since she shared them. We can’t thank Celisia enough!

I was impressed with her flexibility and commitment to providing us with the best experience and the best pictures. For starters it started pouring rain for our family photos and Celisia didn't blink an eye. She grabbed an umbrella and shot away. During the ceremony it seemed like she was everywhere at once. She did a great job at capturing both the candid moments full of emotion along with the more formal shots. eas and lists and she did a great job making my vision come to life. She was professional and ran around testing lighting and made sure to get the best shot possible. I was definitely stressing out with all the planning but photography was one of the things I didn't have to worry about because celisia kept me calm. Would definitely recommend

Two things we really enjoyed about Celisia was that we were able to play some of our favorite upbeat music, which kept us moving and made us feel more like we were at a friend’s house than in front of a camera. Additionally, she had really good ideas for poses that looked natural and intimate. We were ultimately super impressed by how gorgeous the pictures were and how quickly she sent them to us. It was so hard to choose a couple of pictures from the many that we got back to share with our friends!! We would definitely recommend her and would love to use her again in the future!
