About this vendor
Celladora Photography was founded in 2010 as a wedding photography brand for couples who find beauty in the details, and in the moments. Our brand of photography highlights a real authentic documentation of the story of each wedding we photograph. Our unique style comes from getting to know each couple on a personal basis so that we can highlight their style and not force them to fit into a cookie cutter mold.
We blend a photojournalistic approach with beautiful “un-posed” portraits to deliver a collection of timeless photographs that tell your unique love-story. We focus on relationships. Instead of conjuring up fake smile after fake smile for the camera we allow you to actually enjoy your wedding day. We want to celebrate and document one of the most important, happiest days of your life with you.

John is very passionate about his job and his clients. Shortly after I submitted the inquiry form on their website, I received a call from him to talk through our needs. This first...
impression meant so much to me! We did not need engagement photos so the first time we met was on the wedding day yet it felt like we had known each other for years. He captured our personalities and styles perfectly and the photos are simply stunning. Absolutely the best decision we made for our day!
We hired Celladora Photography for our January wedding at the Gaylord Opryland is Nashville. John was so easy to work with. He knew the resort very well and had a lot of great phot...
o location ideas. He was quick with his responses during the whole process. His prices were reasonable for the market and the quality. John and Cara were an absolute pleasure to work with the day of our wedding. Taking the time to fluff my dress, arrange the little details, and straightening all of us up before the shots. The turnaround for the photos was fairly quick, about 4 weeks. And they were lovely! Wonderful editing and easy to view, download, and share with family. Thank you Celladora for capturing our special day so beautifully! We will cherish these photos forever!
John and Cara were the perfect guides for our wedding day capturing the special moments between both us and our guests. We’ve only gotten a sneak peek since our wedding was last we...
ekend but it is beyond perfection already. Thrilled to see what else is in store! Definitely worth doing the engagement shoot too - John made us feel comfortable and was wonderful at giving direction.
We hired John to photograph our wedding and we're so glad that we did! We also added on a second shooter and a videographer. John was easy to work with the months leading up to the...
wedding. John and Cara were so friendly and fun on our wedding day, we actually had family members comment that they really liked our photographers! All of of our photos turned out beautifully! When when my husband and I stared planning out wedding I was really adamant that I wanted to find a great photographer to capture those lasting memories and I'm so grateful that we made the right decision in choosing Celladora Photography!
Celladora is one of our absolute favorite photographers!! John is "in it, to win it" and not afraid of a little sweat or dirt to get the perfect shot! We are so proud to call him,...
"Friendor". He has such a gift for capturing ALL the details and emotions. Thank you John! - Allenbrooke Farms
Waiting for your pictures after your wedding can be a bit nerve-racking. You are trusting someone or serval someones with the most important day of your life. They have the outsi...
de view and you wonder...what will they capture? Celladora Photography, led by the creative, fun, and always on time, John Yates surprised and brought tears. As I viewed his work, he had captured the day in a way that told our story to include special moments I didn't even remember. I couldn't be happier with Celladora, John ,and his staff.
By far, the best decision we made for the wedding. John and his team are so amazing and so much fun to have around! I used John for my bridal portraits, wedding photography and the...
photobooth and have loved every single thing I've seen. My bridal session was SO much fun and the images turned out to be amazing. Better than I could have imagined. John even went so far as to do research on my Pinterest board to get an idea of what I liked. He goes above and beyond to capture every emotion and feeling of the moment. We absolutely loved the energy he brought and the level of professionalism he exudes. I can't sing his praises enough and will recommend him to anyone who will listen!
John Yates and his assistant Lauren captured our wedding day on 12/19/15, he has already shared with us a few of the shots he captured from our day and we couldn't be happier. He i...
s a laid back professional who makes you feel so at ease. He is great at going with the flow and adjusting to whatever you want done during the day. He scouted out our location beforehand, picked out great spots, and made the entire process go so smoothly and so quickly! A master of lighting and focus who blends into the crowd capturing all. Pick John for your day!
I am so happy that I chose John Yates from Celladora for my wedding photographer. From the moment, my fiancé (now husband) met John we knew he would be a perfect fit for us. He was...
easy to talk to, laid back but his work displayed so much talent. Our engagement session was just a preview to the amazing work we would get with John. Throughout the process, he was easy to work with and flexible with our plans. On the wedding day, I could have not asked for a better photographer. He accomplished all of our bridal/family photos so efficiently, which allowed us to enjoy some quality time in our bridal suite relaxing with family/friends. The previews I have seen of the wedding day look fabulous and I cannot wait to see the rest. John even created a photography fund for our registry so guests could donate to our photos instead of giving gifts that we really didn’t need. The best moment of the night is when all of my guests were dancing like crazy and John was literally laying on the floor capturing the shot from below, so cool! Hands down, John Yates is the best, check him out!
