ith. Cellar 222 was the perfect fit for our Prohibition Glam style wedding and the interior decor made it to where we barely needed to bring any of our own decorations, aside from table decorations. We highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting a truly magical wedding!

op-tier! That has nailed the Tuscan wine cellar aesthetic out of the park. Steve is amazing ! A class act! My fiancé and I decided to get married in Jan 2025 back in October 2024. (Yes with only three months to plan.) For some, this would be an overwhelming task, but we were so fortunate to have Steve in our corner who went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. We had a very small intimate wedding and reception there. With the ceremony downstairs and while the guests were upstairs enjoying cocktails, Steve and his team flipped the room for the reception. My fiancé and I loved to dance, so we left most of the upper floor open for the DJ to dance the night away! We had such a beautiful time and highly recommend it!

It does not feel crowded but rather like your at home and having a grand party. I cannot recommend this place enough. All of our guests had a blast and there’s nothing like having real candles to set the mood. If you are questioning whether to have your reception here just go visit the venue and you’ll fall in love with Cellar 222.

more than happy to accommodate visits to the facility leading up to our big day; the day of he was very attentive to our needs and willing to assist in whatever ways we needed to ensure everything went off without a hitch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish and we will absolutely use his venue again in the future for events. The size of the venue was perfect for our amount of guests (roughly 90) and people said how much they loved the venue!

Wedding planning can be very stressful but due to his communication and attitude it felt very reassuring throughout the whole process. He was just very easygoing and a delight to work with! In terms of the venue itself, we loved that there were many comfortable sitting areas throughout the venue so people can sit during the wedding. The venue has a industrial yet classic aesthetic featuring touches of signature Kansas City brick and stone. There’s a lot of charming decor to it already so you don’t have to worry too much about the decoration since it’s not a blank box like some venues. It felt very cozy and it was perfect for our intimate wedding of around 40 people but the venue seems flexible to accommodate more or less people as well. Overall, we're very glad that we chose Cellar 222 as our wedding venue and would highly recommend it!

It hardly needs any decor, but we added some candles, wine bottles with fairy lights, and even had a Photo Booth in the corner that guests had a blast with! Steve was amazing to work with. He was friendly, super quick to respond to all of our questions, and very buttoned up. He is clearly a wedding pro and will take care of you! You truly can't beat the price and location in the heart of Crossroads. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in downtown KC!

The natural light during our daylight wedding was exceptional & created great lighting for the photographer. Many decor props are available to use. No hidden charges, nice bridal room & refrigeration available for your catering & beverage items. This is a venue that needs consideration! Thank you Steve!

Steve was available to text/visit whenever we had questions during the process, and was right there the entire day of our wedding to help keep transitions and processes running smoothly! We spent exactly 0% of our day there worrying about venue stuff, as he and his team were 100% on it the entire evening. The ability to move upstairs for cocktail hour while the ceremony space is flipped into the dinner space is incredibly convenient, and our guests LOVED being able to have both ceremony/reception in one place!
