About this vendor
We’re Michael and Sarah, owners of Cello Films and a married couple who divide our time between Los Angeles, California and Rome, Italy. Before we started Cello Films, we worked for fifteen years as a non-fiction and documentary producer (Sarah) and editor/cinematographer (Michael). Our work has been featured on CBS, NBC, National Geographic, Bravo, A+E, Discovery, MTV, VH1, and Facebook, among others.
After having our own destination wedding and the birth of our son, we pivoted to build a family business. We even named our company after our son's nickname (“Cello”). If there’s one thing we learned from working in Hollywood and living in Italy, it’s how to tell stories that are visually spectacular while being incredibly romantic.
At Cello Films, our aesthetic is heavily influenced by our documentary background. Our goal is to capture the story of your wedding day, with image composition and lighting that reflects our love of Italian style and cinema. We aim to create a timeless film that takes all your best memories of your wedding day and transforms them into your own personal documentary.
We film weddings all around the world, from our home in Los Angeles to the Italian countryside. Whatever the type or size of your wedding, let us tell your story.

Sarah and Michael were phenomenal to work with! Even before meeting them, we heard great things from your other clients and were excited to meet. From our first zoom chat they took...
the time to really get to know us as a couple and we knew we were making the right choice. No other videographers took the time and had the attention to detail they took.
Cello Films made the day feel like a breeze and we were put at ease with how they put everything together. Sarah and Michael were a joy to work with and really went above and beyond to make sure my husband's mom still had a part in the day despite the unfortunate circumstances. They did a phenomenal job of capturing our family's expressions, all smallest and intimate details, and the emotions of the day and evening. All the care and work you put into your craft definitely made us excited to see the final product--we could not have been happier! The fact that our parents have watched it 3x each the week they sent us our finished film is great testament to the emotions the film evokes. In fact, my mom still rewatches the film every month or so! We're so excited and grateful to Cello Films both in making this memento to cherish and look back on each year, for years to come. Thanks again!
Myself and my husband tend to be picky when it comes to our style and aesthetic, so when it came to deciding who would film our wedding, we knew whoever we chose would have to be t...
he perfect fit for us. Our search quickly ended when we came across Cello Films. We cannot say enough good things about Cello Films, from our initial consultation where they listened to our vision and collaborated with us, to filming our engagement and wedding day, we just knew they were the right fit. Cello Films understands storytelling; they take their time with developing the story, they ask questions, and they listen. They have brought their unique experience from working in documentary television to wedding videography effortlessly. My husband and I wanted something different than the “normal” wedding video and we received just that with Cello Films! The quality is impeccable, they care so deeply about their work, and it shows in every video they make. By choosing Cello Films, we were immediately put at ease, and we knew they would capture everything perfectly (trust me, when wedding planning, you want to go with whoever is going to make your life easier!). Filming a Punjabi-Fusion wedding is not a simple task, but Cello Films had no issue and did their research before! The blend of two cultures was on full display throughout our wedding film. We have received so many compliments on the films they have made for us and we are so thankful to Cello Films for showcasing our engagement and wedding day. They have given us memories that will last a lifetime. My husband and I can go on and on about Cello Films and you will too when you choose them for your wedding!! If you’re looking for something unique, thoughtful, and high-end, I would strongly recommend Cello Films!!
When we found out Cello Films was actually going to create our wedding film, we couldn't believe our luck. Sarah and Michael are true visionaries that make everything look elegant,...
and bold with a touch of sexy, everything a bride could ask for. We went with the Gold Collection which covered all our wants and more within our budget.
My photographer commented on how non-intrusive they were in the chaos around them. The final product was beyond expectations. How could they make our wedding look better than the real thing? We are truly grateful to Cello Films for capturing the story of our wedding day. Na Zdrowie!!
