ial Acres are amazing! From our initial meeting to view the venue up through our wedding day, we were in constant contact with John himself. He answered all our questions and was so helpful. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The staff handled all the decorating of the reception space, I just had to bring everything ahead of time and set up one guest table and they did the rest. After our wedding, they took everything down and put them back in the bins for us to pick up the next day. The food was fantastic, the bartenders were great and our guests had a fantastic time. Everyone worked so hard and we couldn't be happier with how our day turned out. I highly recommend Centennial Acres!

The owner requested very specific details to accomodate my vision and our day went off without a hitch. I like that we weren't nickled and dimed. He threw in complimentary things like sashes, rice for the entrees, champagne for the wedding party. He is such a kind man. You can tell he enjoys throwing weddings.
I read a review here that communication is slow. It is. One thing John told me before we signed the contract that they are a golf course/club first, and I accepted and respected that. They only agree to host a specific number of weddings to be able to give their brides and grooms and golf patrons the best service. Yes, there were times I went three or four days without a reply, but you have to anticipate that. In the end, if you make what you need clear early on, there's no reason to panic or be worried at all. We had two long meetings and planned out every detail. If he had a question, he emailed me. If I wanted to change something, I emailed him. It was very pleasant and easy. I had to do very little. I loved that I didn't have to spend the night before my wedding at the venue for hours on end setting up table after table. When the day came, they had even set up my signs and placed my guestbook and seating chart on a special table, perfectly situated.
You cannot get a better deal for a down-to-earth, yet classy venue. Yes, it's off the beaten path and Sunfield is a bit of a drive, but it's so worth it.

I visited this venue and considered it for my venue. Great price for what you get, reasonable! Great area for smaller (100guests) country themed wedding.

They don't nickle and dime you for every single thing. Very helpful. GREAT PRICE and they basically do everything for you!!! Have fair rules to follow instead of crazy strict ones.

have just isn't strong enough to handle that large of a space with that many warm bodies. I feel they should think about upgrading it. Also I was a little annoyed because I had my dinner set up buffet style, and a few of my guests tried to go up for a second helping after everyone had been through the line, and were told they couldn't have seconds. Then later in the evening some of my guests were hungry and asked Vicky for some leftovers and she said no. This bothered me because I paid for all of that food so I feel like my guests should have been able to eat as much of it as they wanted. Whatever was leftover would just get thrown away or taken home by employees anyway. I think my guests should have been able to have as much as they wanted to have because I paid for it. other than these few minor issues, I was really happy with the hall. Vicky and her staff did do a wonderful job decorating for me, and Vicky went out of her way to help me stay within my budget, and helped me find the things I wanted for my centerpieces. The grounds are beautiful, and make great pictures. All in all I was very happy with my choice to have my wedding reception here.

weddings, not much is set in stone. The good part is you can customize your wedding, but the bad part is that you have to be super organized yourself. It was a somewhat of a struggle to plan. I had to be persistent about meetings and schedules during the planning stages. Then the night of was seemed chaotic - but maybe every bride feels like that (?)

it was perfect. They were so flexible and would do anything to try and make my wedding day perfect. Our ceremony was on the golf course with white chairs. It was beautiful! Overall, I couldn't have picked a better place.
