If your venue requires a certified insured vendor for delivery, do not hire this vendor. I inquired with Steph in April 2022, worked with her on my cake design and officially/signed in May 2022 for my Sept 24, 2022 wedding. She was highly communicative through the inquiry and design process, up until I gave my deposit. She then went entirely silent. I emailed her again two months prior to my wedding with a reminder that my vendor needed a certificate of insurance in order for her to come on site to deliver. She never replied. I continued to follow up via email regularly and received no reply (and no automatic response with a number to call for urgent matter). I tried calling many times, but her company phone number listed on her website went directly to voicemail. With only two weeks to the wedding I gave up and sent another email requesting a refund of my deposit, since I no longer could use her as a vendor and she could not uphold her end of the contract… failure to provide a standard insurance certification (that all of my other 14 vendors provided within 12 hours of request) meant she could not deliver me a cake. I then sent her multiple refund requests via Venmo - all were ignored despite her account being active with new transactions during the time period. Finally, once I posted a public message to her Instagram post, she sent me a long, unprofessional email oversharing personal reasons as why she hadn’t answered (and immediately deleted my Instagram comment). She still did not provide the required documentation and offered no resolution other than to say I was still on her schedule. I again informed her she unfortunately couldn’t deliver and I was not close enough to do a pickup and that I’d like a refund. She never replied and I had to hire a new baker with only two weeks to the wedding, paying for a new cake as an additional charge that was not planned for in my wedding budget. It’s been months since my wedding, and I’ve sent additional refund requests to Steph and she has never replied.

Steph made the best cake and cupcakes for our wedding. The hardest part of planning was choosing the flavors after the tasting because everything was so good! The tasting was key too, because we ended up going with (for us) an unexpected flavor - lemon with raspberry filling! The guests loved it - At the reception my friend ran up to me and said “normally wedding desserts are just meh, but yours are GOOD!” The cake/cupcakes were moist, pretty, and devoured! Steph also provided materials to save the top tier, so we can enjoy our cake again on our anniversary!

Steph perfectly executed our cake design based on photos we sent her, was a joy to work with, and also seamlessly worked with our florist to add flowers to the cake. The cake was also delicious and many guests came up to me to specifically comment on that, which surprised me as I have never really been that impressed with a cake as a guest at a wedding!

Steph made sure that our wedding cake looked amazing! It was so delicious that my husband almost didn’t share the piece we cut at our wedding ! Also my guests couldn’t stop talking about the cupcakes. Steph is amazing to work with from the first time we spoke I trusted her in her design for our cake and cupcakes. She made me feel less stressed about planning. Thank you Steph for everything !!!
