Central Coast Catering

Central Coast Catering is a wedding catering business based in Santa Barbara, CA. This company was born from our desire to bring the experience and ethos of our founding restaurant, Barbareño, into people’s most cherished memories and experiences beyond our doors.     For the past decade, Barbareño has served Santa Barbara by offering a dining experience that celebrates the history, traditions, and bounty of our region through our food and hospitality. As our guests increasingly requested we bring the experience we offer at our restaurant to their weddings and special occasions offsite, we realized we could provide an offsite experience that showcases the same level of hospitality, attention to detail, and delicious food we provide at Barbareño. Collaborating directly with our guests to make their visions come alive in unique settings gave us a new creative outlet which inspired us to make catering a core focus of our work.   We’ve developed a mobile wood-fired kitchen that serves 50-250 guests while paying homage to our region’s history of grilling over red oak. Using seasonal ingredients sourced directly from local farms, we create menus that celebrate the Central Coast and the rustic flavor of open-fire cooking.  Our hospitality team stands apart as it is comprised of the same experienced professionals who work at our restaurant, rather than temporary contract staff.  This allows us to deliver a seamless level of service, with a team that is well-versed in our standards of hospitality.   Our team specializes in full-service catering, where we work closely with our clients and their planners to create one-of-a-kind events. From casual backyard buffets to black-tie weddings, we’re committed to crafting customized experiences to make each occasion unforgettable.
