When we first toured the park, we thought we found a treasure. Green, spacious, and we were told it would be filled with colorful flowers during the holiday season and the windows ...
that separate the park and library are frosted at night when the library lights are off! No flowers, you could see everything in the library- we were outright lied to. I found this out 2 hours prior to the reception. I spoke with management the next week and thy explained that the person who gave the tour was let go earlier in the year do to this type behavior. Well no one let me know beforehand and I looked like a fool to my friends and family that I had told about what to expect. We also had to go through green mill of Woodbury for the bar, another hassle. It made me regret ever having a wedding reception at all. The people there that night were nice but still regret choosing this facility 2 months later.
Woodbury Central Park was the ideal venue for our wedding!
A spectacular indoor venue with all the advantages of an outdoor location...the ambiance was magical and our guests were...
in awe of the beauty of it all.
The staff was wonderful to work with. In particular, Nathan Hanson was an outstanding representative for the venue. He truly cared about "our day" and was extremely responsive to our requests. Nathan really went above and beyond to help us bring our dream day to life by guiding us along the entire process and recommending that which we needed to make it happen yet not break our bank.
Central Park has everthing that you would want for your wedding/event venue. Central Park differentiates from other banquet facilities in cost to value - for a Saturday wedding....it could not be surpassed!
THANK YOU Nathan and all the supporting staff @Central Park. Wish we could do it all over again! We couldn't have dreamed of a more positively perfect experience.

The One Stop Venue- To say that this venue is beautiful inside does not do it justice, let your eyes and other senses be the judge, you will not be disappointed! It was truly every...
thing under one roof, amphitheater for the ceremony, the receiving line was held on the wide area of the lower bridge as the guests could make their way up to the “Library Door” end where we had our dinner overlooking the beautiful park, then back to the amphitheater for dancing, dedications and even more fun! You tell the weather what it is going to be, you get to choose your own licensed caterer, Nate, Becca and Jordan were so extremely helpful...pre to post-ceremony/ festivities.
We never had a concern or second though once signing with Woodbury Central Park....and don't you want less to worry about during this happy, exciting time?
We had our reception at Central Park and it was amazing. The indoor atrium with softly lit trees makes for a truly romantic wedding or reception experience. The staff was professio...
nal and very easy to work with, and they went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met!
We (and all of our guests) just loved Central Park! As soon as you walk in, you hear the sound of the waterfall and see the beautiful foliage of the garden area. We had both our ce...
remony and reception here, and they have perfect areas for each. We had our ceremony in the amphitheater, which doesn't have much in the way of decorations, but makes up for it in charm and atmosphere. There is a nice sized banquet room downstairs through the garden, and it was perfect for us. We also took our photos in the garden area in front of the waterfall, and they turned out so wonderful!
Chris and Jennifer were great to work with, very quick to answer emails and were very flexible with my requests.
My favorite advantage of this venue is they take care of all set up and take down and provide all the chairs
Amazing! They helped with everything and made sure I was happy! So pretty!!!
The staff was knowledgeable and cooperative. Able to change layout of tables as needed and had a staff member on site the entire time. The atmosphere and service are one of a kind ...
and create an unforgettable wedding experience.
This was perfect for our May 4th wedding. It is so beautiful inside you really don't need much for decor.
They require you to use thier bar service but we found it really rea...
sonably price.
They also allow you to bring in your own catering service.
The only issue we had was slight lack of communication with the office. I think this was due to change over in staff. But for the most part everything went really smooth.
I highly recommend Central Park!
Overall we were very thrilled and pleased with Central Park, Jared, and his staff. The venue was gorgeous and it is a fabulous place to have a wedding. The services delivered and e...
xpectations did differ a bit so I would make sure to clarify everything. Also, the staff that was there during the night was a bit young and timid when it came time to break down tables for the dance floor so we had to step in and do that portion. Even with these minor things, I would still greatly reccommend Central Park for any bride and groom looking for a wonderful reception venue.
I want to start off by saying the venue was beautiful. I received a ton of compliments about the space. I do have complaints about the customer service. I was working with one co...
ordinator throughout the planning, sent him an email the week before the wedding and received an automatic reply that he no longer works there. I freaked out, sent an email to the venue and received a nice phone call back. They redeemed themselves at that time.
However, during the rehearsal the day before the event which was set up with the previous coordinator there was a very rude lady trying to set up for the wedding that would be held there the night before. She did not work for the venue, but I could hear two staff members whispering about our party "are they supposed to be here" "that lady is really upset" "did they pay for that". That really made me mad but I held my cool. The day of the wedding, we arrived to find another wedding had just finished. They still had their guests there and we went to our dressing room and it was disgusting, trash was not emptied, floor was dirty, it was not cleaned before we were let in. This was the room I was getting dressed in! Also, there was an ice cream spill that was not cleaned up and various other trash.
All in all, I really loved the space but thought that they really could care less about me. They jam pack weddings in and did not take the time to clean up after the earlier wedding.
Blain at Central Park - Woodbury, MN was a great help in helping us put on a beautiful wedding. He answered our questions quickly and was patient with us at every turn. They went...

ff was friendly and easy to work with and very accomodating. It's not as cheap as the base price suggests but it was well worth the additional amount we paid!!!

airs for the ceremony but they did not and we ended up doing it ourselves even though we payed for it.Overall it was a nice place for both ceremony and reception.
I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at Central Park in Woodbury, and I was very happy and impressed with the facility and the staff. The staff are very friendly, accom...
odating, and quick to respond. They helped me plan and set up the perfect wedding reception. The facility is beautiful inside with live plants, lots of windows, and a beautiful waterfall to name a few. The kids loved the indoor playground and many talked about how it was the most fun they had at a wedding. The ambiance of an evening wedding is so beautiful at this location. Central Park had everything we were looking for - site for ceremony and reception, beautiful pictures, outside catering, reasonable rates, parking lot, etc...the list could go on and on. I would recommend this facility to anyone!
I used Central Park for my wedding reception and catered in from an outside source. Everything was absolutely beautiful, down to every last detail. The atmosphere was perfect - the...
sound of the waterfall splashing, heels clicking on the stone pathways, music drifting about from the amphitheater, everything aglow from the light strands strung along the trees. I got my outdoor wedding without the worry of weather. I worked primarily with Blaine Beck, their coordinator, and liked him so much, I hired him as my DJ too!
Central Park is the most perfect place to be married at! We had a wonderful experience and the staff was amazing! We never experienced any technical problems and couldn't have b...

Although this is a beautiful site, we had nothing but a bad experience with Central Park in Woodbury. We had our wedding ceremony there, which they overcharged us for. We had pai...
d $75 for a "sound tech" and not once did our Pastor's microphone work. They then blamed the Pastor and said it was on mute, but it wasn't. They told us there is no need to test it prior to the ceremony because, "they knew it worked". Their willingness to work with us and give us any type of credit for no one being able to hear our wedding was not there at all. They were rude and said it was our fault. After all of this they sent me a bill for $5.23-- REALLY?! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
