Ceremonies By Carmen is a wedding officiant from the Lansing, MI, area. I believe that everyone deserves the right to pledge their love and commitment to their significant other, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or gender. I will customize to your personal tastes and beliefs and will design a ceremony that will emotionally move you and your guests.
I am ordained and available to officiate civil unions, single religion, non-religious, and interfaith ceremonies for couples from an array of backgrounds. I offer three wedding ceremony options, which include Elopement, Simple Elegance, and Dream Wedding.

r before writing the script for our ceremony. She had great ideas for how we could make the ceremony feel very personal and involve our families, but also gave us plenty of room for input. She kept everyone on track during the rehearsal and did an amazing job during the actual ceremony. We did have a hiccup (our DJs mic that she was using during the ceremony kept going in and out) and she rolled with it like a pro. She even had tissues and paper towel for my soon to be husband who was sweating during our outdoor ceremony in the sun lol. We received so many compliments on how beautiful our ceremony was that day and it was all because of Carmen!

person and in email really made our day special. She had some suggestions that my husband and I had never considered or didn't realize where things (rose ceremony for example). We thought that this was a nice gesture for both moms, as a thank you for everything you've done for us as individuals as well as a couple. Carmen gave us a sample script and was more than open for suggestions for editing and changes; though we didn't need any revisions. Her ceremony was perfect! My best friend and I sat in my living room, reading over the scrip out loud with some laughs and tears of joy as well as remembrance, and I cannot believe I'm/you're getting married tears! Carmen was very patient with the rehearsal (we had a 2.5 year old ring bearer and a 5 year old flower girl) and only had to do a few runs but was more than willing to do more if we felt like it was needed. She was absolutely perfect for our day.

wanted it to be. Unfortunately, there was a time mix up and the wedding started an hour later than anticipated. We really should have confirmed the time from both ends, and I am not bringing this up to place blame. I bring it up because we were so appreciative of her professionalism and ability to keep calm and officiate our ceremony exactly as we planned. We are very glad that we chose Carmen to play this role in our special day!
