Ceremonies By Meredith

We are so happy that Meredith was the officiant for our ceremony! This was the most important part of our wedding day and Meredith went above expectations. She spoke with us several times to get to know us better. She had a very genuine approach and was able to truly personalize our ceremony. Meredith is authentic, professional, creative, sweet, and articulate. She helped us create a ceremony that encompassed our friends and family with the ring-warming ceremony. We had several of our guests express how beautiful the ceremony was and they loved that they were included and able to send their love to us through our rings. Many of our friends and family thought that Meredith had known us for a long time based on our ceremony. She is very good at listening to what we wanted and let us be as hands-on as we wanted. We were able to review the ceremony, but she also kept some fun surprises for us. She is extremely thoughtful and respectful. All of our vendors spoke very highly of her. (She even officiated our wedding planner’s own wedding ceremony!) We feel so lucky that Meredith was our officiant!

Meredith was such a delight to work with from, from our first phone conversation I knew we had snagged the right officiant. She is bubbly, has a calming nature, explains ceremony flow and marriage license brilliantly and is open to all your grand ideas, has a brilliant questionnaire to customize your big day and is just an amazing human being. She made my husband and myself feel comfortable being the center of attention, which is neither of our strongest suits. Our ceremony had meaningful rituals, blending old and new traditions and details that made it unique to us. Grateful she was a part of our magical day!

We cannot praise Meredith enough for making our ceremony perfectly memorable, from her suggestion for the ring warming to implementing our tree planting request and everything in between. We love how she surprised us during the ceremony with our individual answers to her questions about marriage and each other, my sentimental statements juxtaposed with my husband’s very dude-like comments for comic relief. Many of our guests said they enjoyed our touching ceremony even more than the reception, which was also full of fun surprises. Meredith’s fee might be slightly higher than other officiants around Tahoe, but consider yourself lucky if she’s available on your wedding date because she is amazing!

We loved working with Meredith! We toyed with the idea of having a friend marry us and I'm so glad we didn't. Meredith has such a reverence for marriage ceremonies and she puts so much thought into her work. She's kind and listens to you and has a lot of ideas. She's open to your ideas too! She's professional but also feels like a friend. We felt so confident with her at our ceremony. Meredith's voice is so calming - she talks slowly so you can hang on to every word - and she is clear. We received so many compliments on our wedding ceremony -- and so many people wondering how we found Meredith because she was so perfect for us! Your ceremony is the most important part of the wedding... it is why everyone is there in the first place... and we are so glad we trusted ours to Meredith. :)

Meredith was so wonderful! Starting months before our wedding, we had phone calls and video chats so that she could get to know us better in order to write a ceremony that was completely us. She seamlessly wove our own thoughts into the ceremony and created something that all our guests raved about. She effortlessly incorporated our unusual request to be pronounced husband and wife at a very specific time, making our wedding day truly perfect.
