We are so thankful that we got in contact with Nanette! She officiated our ceremony at The South Bluffs in Elings Park a few weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect; everything we had envisioned for it! We felt that she really took the time to understand how we wanted our ceremony to flow from start to finish. We did not want it to be too religiously focused, but instead focus on our love and commitment to one another as we moved into this next stage of our lives and our relationship. The ceremony and quotes/passages chosen were beautiful and we felt really spoke to us as a couple! We loved writing our own vows and appreciated Nanette’s guidance on this. To us this was the most meaningful and unique part of our ceremony and it will be a moment that we will never forget. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Nanette to officiate our wedding. We chose the personalized ceremony package. Nanette provided the perfectly phrased questions about our relationship so that, with our answers, she would be able to personify our love and articulate our connection. She then worked with us on making sure we were aligned in the draft she had written for our ceremony, and of course, because she is so talented, the most minimal of effort was required in finalizing what she had created for our day. I started to choke up and became emotional walking down the aisle but once I reached the altar Nanette provided such a calm and reassuring presence was able to whisper just the right words I needed to get through the ceremony in the right mindset and take in every word that was going to be said. She truly captured the essence of our love for one another within our ceremony and we are forever indebted to her for making the most important part of our wedding day so perfect.

Nanette was the best! We felt held the entire journey creating together the ceremony we both wanted, and she was so helpful with supporting the process of writing our own vows. Her presence, energy, and the love she has for what she does shows through in every aspect of how she works. We are so happy we got her for our Big Day!!!

We couldn't be happier with Nanette. Choosing an officiant was one of the harder tasks for me, but Nanette made the entire process a breeze. She worked with us to create a ceremony that fit us perfectly. She was willing to venture out to our ceremony site over the water. She performed the ceremony flawlessly. The ceremony was our first in-person meeting and she made us feel like we had known her forever. She involved our families and was absolutely incredible with my special needs uncle. She is loving and professional and comes highly recommended by our entire family.

We spoke to Nanette over the phone to discuss our elopement at the Biltmore in Santa Barbara. She took the time to get to know us and was unbelievably kind. Wow! We absolutely love Nanette -- she is so amazing at what she does and she's an amazing person as well. From the start we knew we made the right choice working with Nanette as we immediately felt a warm and comforting connection to her. She took a lot of time to deeply understand us as individuals as well as a couple. She also had us do several activities which helped us think, reflect, and strengthen our own understandings of ourselves and our relationship. This was not something we initially had even considered for our marriage, but after going through it we are so glad we did it! Nanette did an amazing job writing and officiating our wedding ceremony. We knew we were not going to have a religious wedding ceremony but wanted to have a personalized and meaningful event. She even helped us work in some Jewish traditions and secular prayers that spoke to our individual backgrounds. Nanette did an amazing job getting to know us as a couple leading up to the wedding. She really "got" us and it showed in her work. We spoke on the phone, email and met for coffee leading up to the wedding. She provided us with the ceremony script a month before the wedding. This made us feel calm and confident that the day would go off without a hitch. We highly recommend using Nanette for your wedding ceremony.

In your mind, you have an idea of what you want your wedding ceremony to be like. But it can be hard to convey those feelings to someone who has to actually make them happen. When we started working with Nanette, we could tell that this was the right path. She has a very good process of getting to know everything about each individual, as well as our relationship together. After 3 rounds of detailed questionnaires (via email because we both travel a lot, so bonus points for flexibility there!), we met to go over everything. It was an easy process, Nanette did a beautiful job with her writings, and also gave us great confidence in the entire ceremony ahead. She helped keep my wife calm, and was absolutely perfect when the time came to have the ceremony. I can honestly say we would change nothing about that moment. It felt personal, fun, special, and full of wisdom/inspiration. Thank you Nanette!

We chose Nanette to perform our wedding ceremony and from the beginning, Nanette was professional and great to work with. We met her for coffee to get to know each other and discuss what type of ceremony we envisioned. She wrote an absolutely beautiful ceremony that incorporated little details about our relationship and was everything we had hoped for in our ceremony. Nanette was great from the very beginning. Although we were long distance, she reached out to us over the phone to get to know us from an early point which we thought was awesome. She has a warm personality and is super easy to get along with. She is very organized, professional, and punctual as she was at our rehearsal before everyone in the wedding party arrived. Our rehearsal went smooth because of her coordination - she's a true professional and it's easy to tell that she's done this many times before. Our wedding coordinator even made a comment of how experienced she seemed. She performed a BEAUTIFUL ceremony for us and created a beautiful ceremony program - she gave us many options which we liked because it showed she was open and respectful. She also is extremely calming...definitely talented in her profession. If you're considering using Nanette for your special day, think no more, she won't let you down.

Working with Nanette was a breeze for our small and intimate wedding at the Santa Barbara courthouse Mural room. Nanette initially sent us a suggested layout for our ceremony and kept us on track for fine-tuning it. While we had selected the smaller ceremony plan offered, she also graciously offered to help us write our more personalized vows. We didn’t meet Nanette in person until the day of and nearly all communication was via email. Somehow, though, she felt like family and fit in beautifully with our day. The ceremony went smoothly, and we and our guests had a lot of fun.

We still can't get over the intimacy and emotion our ceremony- it was exactly what we had hoped for. Both of us were most concerned with being able to be present while we committed ourselves to one another, which is no small feat for two people who can get easily consumed by all the details of the day and the needs of our guests. We feel such gratitude to Nanette for helping anchor us and helping us to anchor ourselves and be able to experience every moment of our ceremony. My husband and I felt like we were in this beautiful, serene bubble of energy shared between the three of us. We heard every word, and we were able to feel deeply and openly. Her words reflected us perfectly and the readings and passages chosen by both us and Nanette held such meaning. In a nutshell, the ceremony was so us. Furthermore, our guests kept coming up to us and sharing with us how intimate and beautiful their experience of the ceremony was. Our ceremony was the best part our wedding day. It is a memory we will return to again and again as we journey through our married life together, and be able to relive joyfully.

Nanette was everything we were looking for in a wedding officiant. When our plans to have a family friend marry us fell through, we were worried that we would have a difficult time finding the right person to perform our ceremony-until we met Nanette. She was calm and very professional, but in the warmest way. Although a "stranger" at first, Nanette soon felt more like a relative or family friend. Her gentle demeanor combined with professional experience gave us a sense of ease- which I (a Bride with a slight fear of public speaking) very much needed. For anyone looking for a personal and "zen" like experience on your wedding day look no further than Nanette. She is amazing! We're so happy to have found her!

They say it never rains in Southern California, and for the most part it doesn't except for the one hour that we had our ceremony. Even with the only rain fall in Southern California in as long as anyone can remember Nanette was so calm and cool. If it was;t for her optimism and calm demeanor we made it through our ceremony and had a wonderful day. She is so easy to speak to and the way she conducts the ceremony is so smooth and gentle. Weddings are stressful enough for any Bride and Groom, throw some thunder and lightning into the mix, an outdoor ceremony, and 200 guest in the rain...She kept it calm and got us married with elegance.

We hired Nanette for our Santa Barbara wedding in August 2014 and we could not have been happier! We first spoke with Nanette on the phone to interview her for the job and we very quickly determined that she was perfect for us. We loved her style of getting to know us prior to the ceremony with the interview questions and overall great communication. The ceremony she prepared for us was beautiful, and because it was based on our actual input it was deeply touching and meaningful, which was very important to us. Several of our guests commented that it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they had experienced. She was very accommodating as well, and was able to work with us to incorporate a very personal version of the sand ceremony. She was happy to learn pronunciations for several uncommon names, and took down phonetic cues to make sure she was prepared. I would recommend Nanette to any couple who wants to have a deeply personal ceremony and an extremely attentive officiant!

Nanette is wonderful! She was willing to take us on even though we were getting married in less than a month. She was very attentive, helpful, and genuine. We answered her questionnaire which was very helpful for as a couple because it allowed us to really think about what we wanted at our ceremony. She listened to all of our ideas and even suggested some of her own which were wonderful. She is very intuitive and really takes her time to put together a beautiful piece. Many of our guests said it was the best ceremony they have been to. She made the ceremony very personal, intimate, and very unique to us. We would hands down recommend her to our friends.

We wanted a ceremony that would honor the significance of our vows and our union, but would also reflect our playfulness and sense of humor. The ceremony Nanette crafted exceeded our expectations. She helped us be present and enjoy every moment. Looking back at our wedding day, the ceremony stands out as the highlight. This is true not only for us, but many of our guests. It was perfect. We also really enjoyed working with Nanette before the ceremony. We spent many nights curled up by the fire re-living our courtship, dreaming of our future, and discovering new things about each other. That journey was so important to us. My husband and I hired Nanette to be our officiant for our wedding. Little did we know that Nanette would be so much more. Not only did she conduct our whole ceremony with love and grace, she also was thoroughly prepared, and she was a great source of comfort for Christian and I leading up to our wedding day and during our ceremony.
