Ceremonies with Crystal is an ordained minister by the Universal Brotherhood Movement, licensed, and insured in the state of North Carolina. Passionate about love and weddings, officiating is a natural fit for the professional. Crystal also works in the industry as a wedding day coordinator, a reflection of her dedication to helping people achieve their dream wedding.
Crystal is a non-denominational officiant (with or without the mention of God) and can help couples create a ceremony in a variety of styles. She believes in the inclusion of all couples regardless of sexual orientation or faiths. With flexible services, couples can choose to include poems, love songs, or other meaningful elements that they had envisioned for their big day. Soon-to-be newlyweds may also choose write their own vows. It is Crystal’s goal to help couples mark their milestone moment in a way that fits them and their story.

We received so many compliments about a ceremony and we think that is because Crystal took the time to get to know us despite the distance (we live in Alabama and had our wedding on the Outer Banks). She respected our faith and incorporated it into the ceremony. She appreciated our sense of humor and made sure it showed through. She recognized our love and commitment and highlighted the heartfelt emotions.

She even helped us when we had questions filling out our marriage license online. On our wedding day, my veil bow kept falling down in my hair. Crystal knew what she was doing and helped put it back in securely to make sure it wouldn’t fall out again. Her presentation of our ceremony was spot on. She took the details we gave her about our relationship and turned it into an amazing speech and ceremony. She worded everything perfectly and added a personal touch to her work, making her speech feel exclusive and unique to us. I could tell she put in her all. We wrote our own vows, and she printed them on pretty cardstock paper with ribbon for us to read to each other. I will forever remember Crystal. She made our special day one that we will never forget!

For day-of coordination, her team took all the pressure off us and the wedding party after what had been a mostly DIY wedding preparation. Crystal kept things moving along while having some flexibility with our photographer, who was improvising a bit with the weather and lighting. She made sure we (the couple) had everything we needed throughout the night. All in all, I'd happily endorse Crystal and her team for any weddings in the OBX.

We decided to elope in Jockeys Ridge National Park in the middle of a rainy super windy day. imagine having such an amazing experience without her. Her attention to detail, calming presence, and her ability just to get sh*t done with a bow on it is what you need in a day of coordinator. I was able to actually enjoy our day and not worry about anything with her by our side. If I even thought I was thirsty, I knew she would be there for me with a drink in her hand. She made the day go flawlessly and I can’t thank her enough. Now, if you want an officiant who gets to know their couple, personalizes their ceremony perfectly and can make everyone laugh and cry at the right moment, then you should hire her as your officiant. It felt like she had known me and my new husband for years as she laid out our love story for our guests. Wedding days can be chaotic enough to begin with especially if you have Kardashian-like family members so having someone as calm, patient, positive, and all around amazing cheerleader as Crystal really makes a difference on your wedding day.
