Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design

ow detailed he was but how easy he made her planning process. I am a traveling healthcare professional and not always close to home with the potential to be in a different area every three months. Therefore, come last year when I started my wedding process I knew exactly who I could count one and trust as my planner. I immediately contacted Chad's company and for my wedding he set us up with one of his associates Cameron Tucker. Casey (my now husband) and I can not say enough fantastic things about Cameron. I was three plus hours away for twelve out of the fourteen months of my engagement / wedding planning process without any worries. Casey and I are not vision people and besides a few personal details we were lost. Cameron helped guide us from start to finish. While looking for vendors he provided several that were budget respectful. We went with his recommendations on DJ, florals, and menswear. He listened to wants and with his guidance where we needed it, which was a lot, created our most prefect day. Day of I was absolutely amazed at how stunningly beautiful everything was set up and how flawless the day went. We truly can not thank Cameron enough for all his assistance and if we had to do it all over again we would Cameron by our side every time.

art and provided a complete run down of costs, our meeting cadence, and all expectations from his end and ours. Chad went to work linking us with his tried-and-true preferred vendors and even stepped in and stepped up when I made a huge mistake in booking a shady vendor on my own. Chad was kind about it and worked quickly to resolve the issue and completely over-deliver on what I needed. Halfway through planning, Chad brought in his wonderful team member, Rachel, who was just as warm, kind, and wonderful as him. I then began meeting with both of them and we spent half the meetings laughing because they are a hoot! Since this was a destination wedding for us, and we were not even going to see the space until right before our wedding, Chad personally drove over an hour to the site to take videos and show us the space. He also went to our vendors and helped me pick out linens, chairs, and everything in real time-talk about above and beyond! The level of service Chad and Rachel provided was just incredible. And let me just tell you, the decor, the flowers, the cake, the set-up....absolutely stunning! Chad told me he wanted me to have my dream pink wedding and my goodness did he ever deliver! Honestly, it was more than my dream. Seeing the space for the first time took my breath away. Chad knew how important it was to me to honor my sister Eileen who passed away from breast cancer, and what he created was so touching and just beyond words. I could go on and on about our experience with Chad, Rachel, and the whole team. Planning a wedding at a venue sight unseen, choosing vendors from across the country, it all could have been so stressful, but it wasn't. We knew we had the best from the start and I even told Chad that I was sad it was all over, and we wouldn't get to have our meetings anymore! I truly cannot imagine a more perfect day created, orchestrated, and handled by the best man and team in the business!

low more smoothly. Our big day was all about family and friends - and throughout the planning process, Cam became like family to us. There were no hiccups on our wedding day thanks to Cam, and my husband and I fully enjoyed ourselves as much as our guests! We would highly recommend Chad Biggs Events (especially Cam!) if you want your big day to go smoothly and little to no stress for you.

ith. He made everything so easy and executed our wedding day perfectly! Our day would not have been the same without him and it was absolutely incredible!

hrew a huge wrench in our plans last minute, Chelsea & Chad didn’t just come up with a backup… they created a whole new plan on the fly that ended up being even better than what we had originally envisioned. She was so calm, so on top of every single thing, and made the whole day feel effortless for us. Our guests kept telling us how smooth and beautiful everything was, and that is 100% thanks to her. We never once felt stressed because Chelsea had it all handled—she has a way of making you feel so taken care of while working absolute magic behind the scenes. I can’t even imagine our day without her. If you’re getting married and want someone who is insanely good at their job, kind, creative, and will make your day perfect no matter what—Chelsea is your girl. We are so grateful for you!!!!!

derstanding, knowledgeable, and just an overall great human being. Having a mutli-cultural wedding, we were initially worried about all of the different aspects coming together, but Cameron quickly absorbed all of it and made sure it was all tracked. From start to finish Cameron was organized and not only helped with major planning items (rentals, floorplan, timeline, etc.), but he also set us up for success for all of our planning prior to the month of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about a single thing! We provided much of the linens and decor ourselves and trusted Cameron to see our vision through. The involved setup and ceremony-to-reception flip were handled seamlessly and all of the decor was exactly as we had imagined. During the wedding, Cameron and the team kept everything on time and addressed any surprises quickly and effectively (we're not sure if anything did go wrong, but we never had to know if it did!). We received compliments throughout and after the wedding day about how beautifully organized and smooth the entire event was. At the end of the night, the team also helped us pack all of our items so we could be out of the venue on time without feeling rushed. If you want the perfect wedding look no further, choosing Chad Biggs was one of the best decisions we could've made!

r price range and handling all communication, which made our day as stress-free as possible. They truly cared about providing us with our dream day, and we could not be more thankful for their hard work and dedication to making it one-in-a-million.

my vision and helped me execute it even better than I could have imagined. Chelsea is so kind and made herself available to me (super A Type over here) and I trusted her to take care of us. She talked me off a few ledges as we got closer and closer to the day and deep down, I knew she had it covered. On the wedding day... Chelsea was AMAZING. Nothing went wrong (or if it did, I had no idea) as it should be! She protected my space and didn't allow anything to come in the way of our timeline, even with speeches that ended up being a little too long, or our enjoyment of the day. Without Chelsea, there is no way we would have had the wedding we did. She went above & beyond what I could have even envisioned and took my dream and made it come true. I highly recommend Chad's team as they are all truly the best, especially Chelsea. ;-)

Tucker, who went above and beyond in every possible way. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming with so many moving parts, but Cameron made the entire process seamless. He was always available to answer questions, kept us on top of every detail, and coordinated perfectly with all of our vendors. Thanks to his guidance, nothing slipped through the cracks and our dream wedding became a reality. On the wedding day itself, Cameron exceeded even our highest expectations. My wife and I were able to be fully present because we knew he had everything completely under control. He orchestrated the day with precision, ensuring that every detail and every transition went smoothly. To our surprise and delight, Chad Biggs himself also joined us on the wedding day, lending his support and making the experience feel even more special. Both Cameron and Chad gave us complete peace of mind, which allowed us to truly relax and savor every moment of our big day. We are endlessly grateful to them and cannot recommend their team highly enough. Thank you both for making our wedding everything we dreamed of and more!

r mind on who to go with, to plan the most incredible day of your life, look no further than CHAD Biggs himself! Every detail was perfection. His team was on point and brought grace and kindness to us when we needed it most. What a delight it is to work with Chad and the team behind him.

work, and empathy for what they do in being our planner were phenomenal. With their services and prompt responses throughout the planning process, the entire wedding was such a breeze. I cannot thank Tiffany, Chad, and Savannah enough for making our day just so magical. Thanks to them, this was the best day of our lives. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication for making this day so special. Chad! Chad! Chad! They also went above and beyond in which any type of assistance that was needed during the wedding, such as ensuring details were handled, the timeline followed diligently, even dress bustling - they mastered it immediately. Multiple guests complimented them on their dedication and hard work that day. Things ran so seamlessly and smoothly. WE CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH!!!

Chad Biggs Planning. After I made a few minor changes to my wedding plans (well in advance) and asked to meet at a time that wasn’t convenient for Chad, his tone and communication noticeably changed. He became dismissive and, at times, outright rude. When I mentioned this to one of my other vendors, I was told that this wasn’t the first time they’d heard similar complaints about him. What should have been an exciting planning process instead became stressful and emotionally draining, largely due to his behavior. As for the wedding day itself, these are a few of the critical details were overlooked: • Table Settings: Place settings consisted only of an empty charger and a napkin. The dinner plates, which were supposed to be set ahead of time and cleared when the salad course was served, were never placed or coordinated with catering. • Barware: The specific universal glassware I ordered to be used for beer, water, and soft drinks was never set out behind the bar. Instead, guests were being served BEER in wine glasses. When I brought this to Chad’s attention, nothing was done and I had to personally handle the issue with the bar staff… on my own wedding day. • Cake Service: Our cake was cut but not passed around as discussed. Instead it was just placed in the cake table. No announcement was made, and many—including myself, my husband, my parents, and half of my bridal party—never even got a slice. To make matters worse, the top tier and leftovers were never given to us at the end of the night. • Signage and Decor: None of my mirror signage was wiped, resulting in visible smudges and fingerprints in every photo. (You can see in the attached picture just how noticeable it was.) For someone who describes himself as a “perfectionist,” this was incredibly disappointing. On top of that, a deeply personal request—to place a single rose and candle on my late grandmother’s chair—was completely overlooked, even though I made it clear how meaningful it was to me. Lastly, there were no candles on the cake table or bar, despite me mentioning multiple times that I wanted them there. • Missing Items: A custom bar sign I had shipped from London was never used. The next morning, I found it in a box, completely untouched. My entire bar design had been centered around this linen sign. I could go on about how Chads attitude and lack of follow-through affected what should have been the best day of my life, but I believe these examples speak for themselves. I strongly urge future brides to look elsewhere. No one deserves to feel dismissed, disrespected, or forgotten on their wedding day, and in hindsight, it’s clear why the glowing reviews were all about someone other than Chad.

was exactly how we envisioned it and somehow made it all even better than we could have imagined. He took the time to really understand my vision and brought it to life so beautifully. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the entire day flowed so smoothly because of his planning, organization, and calm presence. We never had to worry about a thing. Our day was absolutely perfect, and we owe so much of that to Cameron. He’s incredibly talented, knowledgable, kind, and passionate about what he does, and it truly shows in every moment he creates. We’re endlessly thankful for him!

the way. The client portal provides monthly checklists to ensure a smooth planning process and the team also provides a list of recommended vendors to create the wedding of your dreams. Although we only booked Cameron for month of coordination, he was always available for any questions we had and really took the time to understand our needs. From a year out, to one month, to bustling my wedding dress and creating the most beautiful wedding day- Cameron supported us through it all!

ruly brought it to life. Due to weather, we had to do some last minute changes to our original ceremony plans - but everything turned out even better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design!!

eceived curated checklists each month to keep us on track prior to our meetings starting six weeks before the wedding. Tiffany was so organized and calming throughout the entire process and answered all of our questions timely. She made sure everything went smoothly and was able to bring our vision to life. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and stress free day, and we owe that to Tiffany and Chad!!

g process so much fun. I never felt stressed or overwhelmed because I knew Chelsea had everything under control. On our wedding day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing—her and her team executed everything flawlessly. They truly brought our vision to life, and the entire experience was nothing short of magical. Thanks to Chelsea and her incredible team at Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design, our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We are beyond grateful! Chad with my life and he exceeded all expectations. He thinks of literally everything and will make sure your day runs smoothly. He made it a breeze for myself, my husband, and my family. We could not be more thankful for him and The Distillery (his beautiful venue) for making our day magical! If you need a planner, look no further!

r our wedding! We booked with Chad Biggs Planning & Design with their day of coordination package, which felt like so much more than that! Chelsea Cooper was our planner and is INCREDIBLE, a Type A Bride's dream! She is super responsive, knowledgeable and very fun to work with. We will forever remember working with Chelsea, Chad and team as they made our day absolutely perfect!

questions we had and ensure we had all the wedding details together. On the day of the wedding, Cameron went above and beyond to make sure the day was as smooth as possible - I never expected to feel so relaxed on my wedding day. He was there to support us in any way needed an even checked in with our family members to support them as well. I would 100% recommend working with Cameron!

he event she was prepared for any questions I had, and reassured me that, yes, everything was planned and ready to go. She organized the vendors spectacularly and day-of was incredibly smooth. Thank you Chad Biggs and Chelsea for a wonderful wedding planning experience!

are incredibly knowledgeable about the entire wedding planning process from start to finish. Tiffany brought a warm and calming presence throughout the whole process and I really needed someone like that during the crazy process that is the final stages of wedding planning. Our wedding day went so seamlessly and was the absolute most perfect day and that was possible due to this incredible team!!

is still talking about how gorgeous they were. He is so creative, fun, and easy to work with!

details that would of NEVER crossed my mind. She created our whole timeline and handled all communication with our vendors which was so nice to have. I was actually able to enjoy the day of the wedding because I did not have to worry about any of the behind the scenes. She kept me on time and handled any road bumps. We even had our officiant show up late (thanks to my Husband) and I had no idea until after the ceremony because Chelsea still made everything run perfectly. I was hesitant about spending wedding budget on a planner, but if I had to do it all over again, I would honestly spend more money and upgrade from the "more than day of coordination" package because of how amazing Chelsea was. This company and team is the dream time and if you are thinking about hiring them...do it. Chad was also a major help along the whole process and has such a keen eye for detail. They are pros when it comes to wedding planning and also such a fun, energetic, caring group.

rried!) was hiring Chad as our "more than month-of coordinator." He made sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it... and we just absolutely loved working with him every step of the planning process. We can't thank him and his team enough - and would recommend him to anyone!

om planning to the big day an absolute joy, even when unexpected challenges arose, like having to move indoors due to rain. Chelsea's dedication ensured every moment was perfect, leaving us with unforgettable memories. Moreover, her calming presence and support helped keep me composed during the unexpected change of plans. Highly recommend her for a stress-free and magical wedding experience!

e could have done it without Kaisey/ Chad Biggs. Kaisey understood and executed our vision to a T and kept everything running smoothly all night. It was such a comfort knowing that there was someone behind the scenes taking care of everything while we wilded out. We are so thankful for everything she did for us and HIGHLY recommend her services!

tiful, romantic perfect day, even in the rain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🤍

ngle step of the way. Her knowledge, expertise and attention to detail are matched by none. When we booked our venue at The Distillery, I asked Chad Biggs which of the planners he knew would be the best fit. He did not hesitate to recommend and set up a meeting Kaisey for us. From our first meeting, I knew we could trust her with our vision and that everything would be perfect. She always had the best recommendations for preferred vendors and used her past weddings to help us craft what I called the A-team. Kaisey built out our entire timeline that allowed my husband and I to sit back and relax when we got close to our date. She went more than above and beyond for us and we had the most seamless wedding. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding planner and friend during the start to our marriage. Thank you Kaisey!

and were wanting to get married in NC, where my husband and I are both from. We had several planning groups on the books to interview and Chad Biggs Event Planning was our first meeting. My husband and I met virtually with Chad and Kaisey and we knew that was all we needed. We cancelled the remainder of our appointments with planners. We worked primarily with Kaisey and Chelsea. Kaisey planned our entire wedding. Twice. They are not commission based so we paid one flat fee. Kaisey is extremely organized and very good at her job. Our initial meetings we went over inspiration and vision for the wedding and go to know each other. I showed her some Pinterest inspo and told her I just wanted to show up to a beautiful wedding with great food and an open bar. She first set out to find us a venue and the first handful were not quite what I wanted. She was not offended at all and we re-grouped on vision and she had perfect venues to pick from a few days later. She made sure all contracts read well, explained verbiage, etc. Later on down the road, COVID was surging and our venue was not very flexible when we wanted to postpone. Kaisey helped talk us through next steps and when we said we wanted to explore other venues, she handled it quickly and with grace. I’m not sure what I would have done without her. She is a voice of reason, knows how to navigate any situation that could come her way in the planning process, and she does it flawlessly. We had to come to NC a few times to do tastings and other appointments and Kaisey booked all appointments and communicated with all vendors. Our wedding planning process was always seamless. We also had an issue with our original caterer who ended up going out of business and taking our deposit with them. Kaisey very professionally let us know and had recommendations lined up and ready to go. She is very prompt and responsive; any random question we had or concern she would handle. When I didn’t love my makeup trial and was too concerned with hurting feelings to speak up, Kaisey was my advocate and found a different artist to do my makeup the day of the wedding. She also lined up our initial engagement photo shoot with props in hand. She was able to let us know if prices vendors were proposing were unusual or a good deal. We also decided last minute to have everyone attending the wedding, including vendors, to take a rapid COVID test. She communicated with the vendors and helped us navigate. Day of was also a complete breeze with Kaisey. I felt like I had a fairy godmother around me all day. If I needed water, she knew and was handing it to me before I could ask. She made sure everything was in place on my dress. She bustled me after the ceremony. She made sure my dad had what he needed when he was feeling ill, she kept all wedding participants and attendees in line. I remember nothing going wrong the day of our wedding. We talked to her a week after and she let us know she requested a refund for an umbrella that wasn’t up to her standards. She was always compassionate, encouraging, professional, and graceful. She navigated one of the most stressful times for us and made it a breeze. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, you should. And it should be Kaisey with Chad Biggs.

specific vision I wanted to come to life and Janna gave us the tools and recommended the perfect vendor team to make that happen. From beginning to end Janna helped us through every decision and over the last few months, has been our rock. In the few days leading up to the wedding, one of our important vendors got covid & a huge snow storm in Boston cancelled half of our guests flights. However, Janna did not blink an eye, kept me calm, and made any adjustments that needed to be made seamlessly. Even after we thought we would love 30-50 guests, we only ended up losing 6 but with every twist and turn Janna was there to smooth it out. I did not have to think or stress about anything on the wedding day and that's all I could ever ask for!

o helpful especially since we were planning our wedding from out of state. She went above and beyond coordinating with our vendors and making sure every little detail was ironed out. Our wedding day was perfect and everything we dreamed of. We could not have asked for a better planner to work with!

been without her. She was always available to answer a quick question or hash out a decision. The wedding world can be very overwhelming, but her expertise made the process so much easier to navigate. I enjoyed our planning meetings so much as she's not only such a joy to be around, but also incredibly organized, professional, and intentional. She talked me off several ledges, did not hesitate to warn against any of my "bad ideas" , and dedicated so much time to making sure I was on schedule throughout planning. Wedding day though, we wouldn't have made it through without Janna and her team. She was there to set up, take down, make sure every little detail was in place, coordinate with every vendor, I didn't worry about a thing. She thought of everything! Her demeanor on wedding day was so calm and collected and I could cry just thinking about the incredible support and peace she brought me- I'll be forever grateful for that.

ith Janna. She was a joy to work with and helped us know everything we needed to do leading up to the event. The day of seemed like a breeze because Janna and her assistant had everything so organized and communicated so thoroughly with all of the vendors, wedding party, and guests as needed. My wedding also got rescheduled for a year later due to the pandemic and Janna handled all the communication with the vendors to get the new date secured. Save yourself the future headache and book this team- they are all fantastic!!!

ch was involved in planning a wedding like we wanted. Chad and Janna took our vision and mixed it with their design expertise to create the wedding of our dreams. Literally our guests were all saying it looked like a fairytale. Despite the stressful year of planning for covid, they were organized and on top of everything. They helped me navigate through the postponement and all of the changes that had to be made. We developed a friendship with Chad and Janna through the process and I truly felt like they treated it as if it was their own wedding. We were completely stress free throughout our engagement because we knew we were in the best hands. If you are considering hiring a wedding planner look no further. They were seriously worth every penny and more!

ady had the vision, as if they are in my brain or something they knew exactly what our vibe needed to turn into a fairytale. I promise you, having a planner isn’t something to just let your bridesmaid do, Boy would that of been a disaster! There is SO much that goes in to before the wedding and during. Every single step of the way Chad and Kaisey literally were spot on. I can whole heartedly say my wedding wouldn’t of been perfect if I didn’t have these two there with me. Don’t even think about another vendor, this is your sign to use Chad Biggs planners, but I’m pretty biased that you should request Kaisey!!!

et, and she exceeded all expectations along the way. Janna is professional, kind, flexible, and generous with her time. She is one of those professionals that makes you feel that you are her top priority when working with her. She is tuned into the specific needs of her clients and offers solutions that are just as specific as her client's needs. Janna is thoughtful in her approach to coordinating events and is extremely well-connected in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. Janna's insight, eye for design, and experience were the main reasons that our wedding went so smoothly, even during the crazy COVID-19 pandemic. Even 2 months after our wedding, guests/family/members of the bridal party are still singing her praises. Because Janna was a part of our wedding, I was able to focus on marrying the love of my life and celebrating with our family and friends instead of worrying about a timeline, a vendor, or a hiccup on the big day. Janna was a crucial piece of our wedding planning puzzle and I absolutely cannot recommend her enough!

ding planning process (even the dress fitting) and made sure that every detail was exactly what we wanted. Her joyous personality, organization, and attention to detail was a major stress reducer as we felt like she always had everything under control. She even took the time to get to know us so our day felt very personalized. On the day of the wedding, we both felt relaxed and excited because everything ran so smoothly due to all of the hard work that Kaisey and her team were doing behind the scenes. Kaisey took our very basic vision and turned our day into the beautiful and elegant affair of our dreams! If you want your wedding to be everything you have ever wanted and more, then you need to hire Kaisey!

e I know their services are in high demand, I never felt like anything less than their #1 priority. Janna, thank you for your phone calls, texts and emails before wedding day. I could not have had such a perfect event without you. On wedding day itself, she responded to every request with a “yes” you can count on. From removing a stain from my wedding dress, to making sure the band played a family-requested song, keeping my bridal party organized and on task, and hundreds of other details that likely went unnoticed because she makes it look easy. Chad. Wow. You manage an outstanding operation and I can’t wait to watch your business continue to thrive. I know it’s been a challenging year for wedding planners and the wedding industry. Thank you for putting on a smile and handling my wedding with such care. You deserve every success. Chelsea is a childhood friend. It was so special to have you there helping Janna on wedding day! You kept the train on the tracks. All three of you made this the most enjoyable day possible! -Kristin & Brian Michalowski

enough for her hard work, dedication, and professionalism. We started planning my daughter’s wedding just as the pandemic unleashed its fury. Our decision to select the full-service option proved to be the best decision we made! Janna effectively navigated the challenges put in place by COVID-19, and we ended up with the perfect wedding! Janna helped us carve out a realistic budget and stick to it. She found the perfect vendors for us, matching our vision 100%! Janna knows what she is doing. She is professional, caring, organized, and focused on perfection. The wedding day was elegant, beautiful, and exactly what we wanted. Janna attended to every detail, and we enjoyed the whole day without any worries or frustrations. Janna is knowledgeable and effective; one would expect that from any wedding planner. Janna goes above and beyond that. I was amazed at how quickly she responded to any form of communication from us from the beginning to the end. Janna worked tirelessly to match our ideas to our vendors, down to the tiniest details. She handled any issues that came up with diplomacy and tact while ensuring that everything was just as we wanted. Janna showed that she genuinely cared about my daughter. Janna was not only the perfect wedding coordinator; she also became like family. I highly recommend Janna Brown (Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design). She is the very best and will work to make your wedding day the perfect day!

ning or our wedding day without her! Every time I thought I forgot something, Janna was two steps ahead of me! At the beginning I severely underestimated the work it took to plan a wedding, but Janna was always right there to guide me and handle absolutely everything the day of! Seriously - from coordinating with vendors, creating our timeline, running the rehearsal, setting everything up and SO MUCH MORE, she handled everything professionally and never skipped and beat! She was always kind, helpful, dedicated and prepared, as well as respectably assertive when needed! I highly valued her honest advice and opinions, especially when it came to the uncertainty during Covid. Throughout all the planning meetings, rehearsal and wedding day, Janna was our unwavering rock and guiding light who ensured that we had the absolute best day of our lives, and I will always be so thankful to have had her as our planner and coordinator!!!
