CHAIRish The Day: Hair & Makeup

for a hair and make up trial and was told REPEATEDLY that the people that did my trial would be at my wedding. On my wedding day, a woman that I had never seen or met before showed up LATE with no pictures of my make up and only two pathetic pictures of my hair from the trial. On what was supposed to be the day I feel my prettiest, I was stressed out and explaining to a woman I had never seen my vision for the day (of course I didn't have all my inspiration photos anymore because I thought I had already met the person that was doing it!). I was incredibly disappointed with my make up and my hair was only okay. When I requested a refund for the trial because WHAT WAS THE POINT of driving to SA three weeks prior for the trial and the airbrush make up that I had prepaid for--I did not get an apology and only a third of the refund that was warranted. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. It's worth booking your services through ANYONE but Chairish the Day. Don't add stress to your wedding day by using their services.

on swore they would be there no matter what and sent no photos to the new hair person. Even so the hair looked great. It only lasted till right after the ceremony and then it fell out. So that sucked, but I survived. The real problem was the makeup lady. She was 3 hours late, didn't call and worst of all didn't apologize. The hair lady had to apologize for her. My girls had to do there own makeup and when she finally arrived she touched them up. I hope she only charged for touch ups but I'm not sure. She delayed the photos by over an hour and the groom's mother wasn't able to be in them bc she was still getting her makeup done. And the photos we were able to squeeze in were rushed and short. Like i paid thousands of dollars for a photographer and they wasnted hours of that time that i can never get back. I was so upset. Like couldn't they send someone else if they knew they are going to be 3 hours late??! I do not recommend using them.

d I stressed during my trial that I wanted volume. The day of the wedding it was a different girl who had no idea what she was doing. My hair ended flat and just messy ugly. When I asked if she could use one of those donuts for volume she said she doesn’t carry that unless she’s told and apparently she wasn’t told anything. My sister was extremely upset because she had called them directly and had asked what she needed to bring and she was told she would be taken care of. So I don’t understand how no one told this hair stylist that volume was a big concern for us and to be prepared. The lady that was suppose to do my makeup had an emergency and couldn’t make it. Apparently she is the only one who can do air brush makeup which is what we wanted. They don’t have a backup so if there’s an emergency then there’s no one who can substitute. The whole experience was horrible. All I heard when I asked questions was “they didn’t tell me.” And as far as the makeup artist I didn’t find out she wasn’t coming until 11 am !! They could have called me early that morning to warn me she wouldn’t be going. They act sweet but what’s the point if they completely ruined my wedding photos.

for bridals and each time they were consistent with what I'd asked for. Their communication was impeccable, and they were very responsive. We enjoyed hanging with them the day of the wedding. They were super sweet and put everyone at ease. I didn't feel ready for the day until they were done with me - I loved the way they made me look! Thank you ladies!

yeliner pencil, Becca setting powder, a brush, hair spray and bobby pins so that if my hair or makeup needed to be touched up it could be. I didn’t know they did that and I think that’s awesome.

about my experience and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy every step of the way. The trial was so fun, I was really excited leaving there for my day of look, and the day of couldn't have been better. They are not only awesome at what they do, but they are so sweet. I felt like I was hanging out with my girlfriends all day and they made me beautiful. I got so many compliments from my guests. They were at the venue before us the day of completely set up and ready. They are reasonably priced and easy to communicate with. I'm also a little snobby when it comes to products and they have all the best products.

makeup :) My only concern was with the trail appointment beforehand. I was debating wether to get airbrush or powder makeup, so they offered me a "free airbrush trial". I figured this would be a quick, free airbrush application to see if I liked the look/feel of it, and nothing more. It turns out, I got a full face of makeup and was charged $100 for the trail. If I would have known that upfront, I probably would have turned down the offer. But, that's on me for not asking ahead of time :) Other than that, the makeup looked great and the staff were so friendly and sweet!!

p and I’m so glad they did because they saved the day! They went above and beyond and I can’t even express how pleased I was with their service. Everyone that got hair and make-up done received compliments by guests! I would used them again and request the same two young ladies because they exceeded my expectations!

bride. I was most nervous on the hair and Shaunna did a fantastic job, better than I could have hoped for. I cant remember the make up artists name but she was so sweet and did wonders to my face. Overall very bubbly sweet people who did quality work. Shaunna is so nice and helpful everytime I emailed and called (which was a lot!) Just make sure you know what you want and they will do it!

amazing and it was all because of them. I highly recommend them for anyone's wedding!

change something. My hair does not typically hold well, and it held all night even with sweat, rain, and dancing! My makeup was equally as amazing! The tears and sweat never ruined the makeup. I think only had to reapply my lipstick once. Laura was also very accommodating with how I wanted my makeup and made sure everything was flawless. I have never felt prettier. They make good company too! I definitely would recommend and refer to anyone wanting hair and makeup done for a wedding or any other special event. Thank you ladies for a wonderful job!

e changed a thing. This is extremely rare for me because unfortunately I am one of those people who is very self critical and almost never completely love the way I look. I was so happy with my hair and makeup, and couldn't stop looking in the mirror! Only 2 of my bridesmaids were scheduled to get both hair and makeup and as the day went on almost all of my bridesmaids wanted their hair and make up done and chairish the day made it happen seemlessly. They took their time on me and made sure I was completely happy with the way I looked even though we were pressed for time because so many of my girls wanted their hair and make up done. Shaunna is so easy to work with, I completely recommend!

et, and did a great job on all of the girls updos and on my hair! I wore my hair down, and she made it look beautiful! Loved that they came out to the venue so we didn't have to worry about rushing around. Overall, CHAIRish the Day was a great choice for us! Highly recommend!

ced a few things to change but on my wedding day it was perfect. That's why you have a trial, make notes of the pros and cons and let them know. My hair is long and heavy, so it did loose the look but I had so much fun I didn't even notice until I saw pictures. Even then it was still pretty.

howed up the morning of my wedding was not the same stylist who I had for both my trial and bridal portrait appointments... it happens. What can you do, right? What was not acceptable, was how ill informed/prepared they were. These poor ladies were sent to complete a job with no knowledge of what had been done during the trial and bridal portrait. No photos. No notes. The weekend was overbooked and these ladies were brought in to wing it. What was the point of paying for a trial and portrait session for none of it to carry over to your wedding day? Also, who sends their employees/represented stylists to the chopping block (...especially with a bride on her wedding day, that could have been a disaster)? Like I said, things happen and we all winged it. I just would have appreciated prior notice and for my trial session to be of use for what was spent on it.

p-do's. I showed Shauna a picture of what I wanted and she replicated the picture so perfectly. I was nervous about how my beautiful hair piece would fit into my possible up-do and Shauna made it work. The mood of the room was so relaxing and calming thanks to her team. I booked her team for all hair and make for my bridal party and everyone looked beautiful. My make up artist really listened to my request (natural make-up) and I received many compliments on my up do and make up. These ladies are extremely talented and will leave you feeling beautiful :-) Thank you Chairish the Day!

. Both of them listened to what I wanted (I had a vintage theme so I wanted it to look a certain way), and the end results were perfect. My hair style stayed in place all night, and my makeup completed the overall look. I received a ton of compliments from our guests about how beautiful I looked. They made the wedding day less stressful because Debbie and Sofia came to my hotel instead of me going to them; it was a huge help. If you want flawless makeup and hair for your special day, hire the staff at CHAIRish the Day!

Much to my surprise, neither one of them were there but rather two others in their place. They still did a solid job but my hair wasn't the same and by the end of the night it was falling down. Even the hair piece I had in my hair fell on the ground during the toasts. I would still recommend them, but absolutely make sure that you get the people there that say they will be there.

love the way she did my hair and make-up, but I loved Morgan. She was so sweet and made sure she was doing exactly what I wanted. I showed her a picture and ended up liking my hair even more than the one in the photo. I wanted my make-up to be natural and not over the top. Morgan did just that! On the day of the wedding, Morgan arrived at the venue early and was professional and friendly. Everyone who got their hair/make-up done loved it and it lasted throughout the night. I highly recommend Chairish the Day and will use their services for all future special occasions. Thank you, Morgan!

ed her that I wanted my hair to look like AND she was so quick! I have super long hair and I was shocked when she was finished with my hair before one of my bridesmaids was done with her makeup! It also was very secure all night and most of all my husband loved it! Mine and my bridesmaids makeup also looked beautiful, the makeup artist got to know all of our styles and make us look beautiful according to us which was very nice. Over all I was very pleased with Charish the day and The price was reasonable I thought.
