We chose the Chalet of Canandaigua to celebrate our wedding on 1/30/26. The owner, Melanie was very receptive and willing to meet with us the next day. We were initially impressed... by the cozy atmosphere, with its grand fireplace in the living room. We then learned that each of the 3 bedrooms had their own fireplaces along with beautiful bathrooms, including large soaking tubs-perfect for relaxing from wedding stress. The rooms, along with the rest of the Chalet and the outside surroundings were impressive. The accommodations, while stunning, were just a piece of our experience.
Owners, Melanie and Fernando were with us every step of the way, paying close attention to details that we had overlooked, allowing us to truly enjoy ourselves. It was apparent from the start that the owners are committed to providing services catered specifically to the needs and wants of their clientele; they were flexible with requests and their attention to detail provided for a perfect night. Despite it being extremely frigid that night, it didn’t interfere with the professionalism of service. The owners ensured that our guests were well taken care of, ranging from the meal service, entertainment, photography assistance, to an outdoor fire. I cannot forget to mention the breakfast service the following morning; the home cooked dishes were delicious, our guests loved it.
We have the utmost appreciation for Melanie and Fernando as they helped make our special day better than we envisioned. We look forward to spending many future anniversaries at the Chalet.
