Carleen and her team did such an amazing job of both listening to and taking care of my wedding party and me on my wedding day. Every single person commented on how the team really took what they said into account. I really appreciated how much they worked with me and I loved what we came up with for “my look.” I do not frequently wear makeup and did not want to wear a ton. Chameleon brides made me feel very comfortable and I felt really beautiful on my wedding day! Beyond just their work, Carleen was incredibly organized and on time. I have been in wedding parties where everything the morning of was behind and stressful. Carleen came up with a schedule beforehand and stuck to it! I was not stressed at all and completely trusted them to make sure we were ready on time. I could not recommend Chameleon brides more. Thank you all so much!!!

Carleen, and everyone who helped at Chameleon, were AMAZING! From the very start, Carleen was incredible at communicating, creating organized timelines, and helping me figure out exactly what I wanted during my trial. It is obvious that hairstyling is an art to her, and she is exceptional at what she does; everyone in my wedding party, including myself, loved our hair so much. And everyone's hair lasted all day/night long!
We also used Chameleon for makeup, and again, they were incredible. Everyone's makeup was gorgeous and authentic to each girl's natural features, and again, lasted all night long! I really cannot recommend Chameleon enough!

Although Carleen had an emergency and wasn't able to be there on our wedding day, what could have been a stressful situation was handled with such ease. Everything was so seamless that I never once worried. On our wedding day, her team made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful. They created such a calm, fun atmosphere while everyone was getting ready, and my hair stayed in place all night as I danced the night away.
They were such a wonderful part of our wedding day, and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out.

Y. My makeup was perfect too. Both my hair and makeup artists gave suggestions on how to prep my hair and skin prior to my wedding day, which was much appreciated. However, after giving it some thought, even tho it was executed exactly how I asked, I realized that’s not how I wanted my hair for my wedding day. My trial hair felt too “bridesmaid” and not enough “bridal.” I expressed this to Carleen and without hesitation she recommended me coming in for another trial, so we could 1 play around with different hair styles and 2 so she can be prepared for the wedding morning, leaving nothing up to question or chance. I sent Carleen my dress and she recommended some hair styles. At my second trial she did 3 styles on me and we came up with the perfect one!! For my wedding day, she also made a hair and makeup schedule for me and all my girls, and truthfully it made the morning run smoothly and efficiently. They arrived early and were ready to go immediately. Everyone’s hair and makeup honestly was stunning. Makeup was natural but glistening and hair stayed all day. They listened when my girls told them what works/does not work for their hair and hair type. For mine, I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team. My hair stayed all day and low key into the next day! I can not say enough positive things about this team. I HIGHLY recommend if you want organized, efficient and knowledgable hair and makeup artists.

The makeup was absolutely flawless, everyone was color matched perfectly. My makeup lasted the FULL night, even after hours of outdoor photos I was always surprised when I looked in the mirror and everything was still in place! I truly felt the most beautiful I ever have that day thanks to Carleen and her team!

They did hair and makeup for myself, the MOB, MOH and a bridesmaid. They used such high-quality products, and it showed — my makeup looked flawless all day and all night without even needing a single touch-up. And despite some pretty reckless dancing on the dance floor, my hair stayed perfectly in place and looked amazing until the very end. It survived hugs, kisses, people stepping and tugging on my veil, and dancing.
If you’re looking for a team that will make you feel confident, beautiful, and completely taken care of on your big day, look no further. I would hire them again a million times over!

First- my wedding was quick and I was struggling to find someone to do ...
my hair. Carleen was flexible and awesome to work with on short notice.
Next- I didn’t want to do a trial and pay more. Carleen explained the value that comes with the trial and insisted on it. I am so glad for that. On the day of my wedding I knew exactly what I was getting and the trial converted to a well executed look on my wedding day. On top of that I got covid before my trial and with very limited options to pick from she made sure we could schedule the trial once I was better.
Finally- Carleen is 100% dedicated to weddings only. It’s her profession after years of hustling in the salon scene. Her professionalism and contacts made me certain that she was totally focused on me and my day. She wasn’t multi task or juggling other priorities. At the trial and the day-of, she was fully focused on me. That is worth so much.
The end product came out great. Totally recommend her

great start! She greeted me right on time with a lovely bottle of champagne and a sweet card. She had a plan ahead of time on what to do for each bridesmaids’ hair based on their hair type and their preferences. Everyone’s hair was stunning. My hair came out better than I could have ever imagined. If I had to do my wedding over, I would 100% hire her in a heartbeat. She truly made me feel like a bride and her organization and attention to detail was incredible and made for a PERFECT “getting ready” morning. Both her and Hedvika made sure everyone’s hair was perfect and the styles held up the entire night. I also really appreciated the cost isn’t insane and it is all listed out ahead of time so there’s no last minute surprise charges. She is a pro! I’m very picky/self conscious but she made me feel confident and beautiful. Between her and Hedvika they did my hair, 5 bridesmaids, the MOB and the MOG and everyone was thrilled with their hair!

I don’t know much about make-up and didn’t have a firm sense or ability to describe what I was looking for, and Trish and Carleen were warm and patient as they provided hair and skin-care education, brainstormed accessory options, and created magic based on photos I brought in during my hair and make-up trial. I was also an out-of-state bride and their flexible ability to do a trial on a Sunday so that I could travel to their salon location was critical. After my trial, my commute back home involved taking a train, two subways, then walking a few blocks in the rain. When I got home, my hair and makeup still held up and looked phenomenal!
For the wedding day, we also used Carleen and Trish for my bridal party’s hair and make-up as well. They were flexible, warm, and able to adapt their tools for the differing hair textures and complexions of my bridal party. They traveled to us to provide services on site, and ran a tight ship so that we stayed on schedule even while providing a few touch ups as requested by my bridal party.
Working with Chameleon Brides for hair and make-up was worth the investment - they provided exceptional advice on how to take care of my hair and skin leading up to my wedding day, and executed professional services for myself and my party which held and looked phenomenal for the entire day. It was a relief knowing that I could rely on such an experienced team as an out-of-state bride!

eading up to the wedding and there was a clear timeline of who was getting what done at what time established in advance. Taylor is so sweet and immediately puts you at ease. She is super efficient with her time, she works quickly, but the final product is amazing. Everyone in my bridal party looked beautiful and very natural. Carleen is also a very calming energy, which was much appreciated on a day full of nerves. She had her work cut out for her with my straight, stubborn hair, but she was able to give me the elegant up-do of my dreams. I can honestly say I have never felt more beautiful than I did after working with these two ladies and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The reviews looked great and so I went and looked at their Instagram page. It was exactly what I was looking for. I reached out and got an email and call immediately from Carleen to say that she was available for my wedding. The responsiveness I received took so many worries away. I was able to schedule my trials before my wedding and felt assured! On the day of my wedding Carleen took care of my hair and Taylor did my makeup! Both women arrived on time and had a clear schedule on which person would go first for hair and makeup making the process smooth and seamless. They both worked so efficiently I didn’t feel rushed at all in fact they finished before we even anticipated. Despite having a rainy wedding date, dancing, sweating, and many tears she’d my hair and makeup lasted the entire night. I had an updo for my ceremony and wanted to have the option to take my hair down for the reception for a different look. Midway through my reception I took out my pins and my hair was perfectly curled. Unfortunately I don’t have my professional photographs yet as I just got married but rest assured these ladies are it! They listened to everything I wanted and if I changed my mind about anything last minute they were incredibly flexible. They communicated well, take in all of your thoughts, and make up feel wonderful on your special day.

about my wedding, she’s been amazing to work with. My first hair and make up trial with another vendor was a disaster, I was only in Connecticut for a few days to do a trial (I’m not from the area, but got married in CT), and emailed Carleen the night before Thanksgiving to see if she could squeeze me in before I returned home. She responded to me on Thanksgiving Day and scheduled me for a trial the very next day. I loved her work and booked her on the spot.
Fast forward to the wedding day, my group of ladies had a lot of specific needs and requests, and Carleen and Taylor were more than accommodating. Our getting ready time went so smoothly, everyone was thrilled with how their hair and make up turned out, and as a bride I could not have felt more beautiful on the big day. My hair and make up was still beautiful when I woke up the next day!

ding vision and assured me she was going to be able to execute my look. Both Carleen and Melissa on the day of the trial did a great job to make sure that they were going to create exactly what I had hoped for. I typically do not like to wear a lot of makeup and can feel overwhelmed by bridal makeup looks and Melissa did a great job to make sure I looked beautiful while still feeling like myself. I could not have asked for a better hairstyle with a double braided up-do that Carleen executed on the day of the wedding and I received so many compliments all day about how stunning and intricate the design was. Her team was extremely professional, kind and kept to their timeline perfectly - we even were done a little bit early which was nice to have time to relax before our photos. I would recommend the Chameleon Bridal team again and again!

ir is what is always the problem, curls drop and volume diminishes. She nailed it all the way through, took her time getting familiar with my hair texture and used products that smelled fabulous. For scheduling the day of, she kept all of us in line with making a schedule and even was thoughtful enough to put in timing for us to get dressed. The make up her team uses says on well and does not look over the top. Skilled team and flexible as well. Great communication, worth every penny!

extensions for my wedding day. Jamie did a great job styling my hair with extensions (they matched my hair perfectly) and my bridesmaids all decided on different styles, which all looked beautiful! Carleen was very prompt in answering any questions that I had and great to work with. She created a schedule so that everybody’s hair was styled in time and there was no confusion as to who would need to have their hair styled next. She is very professional and made this a great experience for my bridesmaids and I. Highly recommend!

Not only are these stylists incredibly gifted at their craft, their organization truly sets them apart from other wedding hair and makeup experiences I've had and heard about. Carleen created a day-of schedule, with each member of the bridal party given a specific time slot in advance so that everyone knew exactly when they were expected. The morning of our wedding, the Chameleon crew was set up and ready to go way before the first time slot. Somehow, they even managed to end up ahead of schedule. They helped us to maintain a calm, fun atmosphere, which I was so grateful for. I'm still fawning over pictures of my hair- it looked just as stunning at the afterparty as it did at lunch time! I'm so thankful to the Chameleon team for such a positive, fun, and stress-free experience.
