We got married at Champagne Tiger on September 14, 2025, and honestly, it could not have been a more "us" place to do it. Char and I had been going back and forth for three years o...n how to elope, and the second we discovered Champagne Tiger over cocktails one Friday night, we knew we'd found our spot.
We used the Garden Patio and front courtyard for our ceremony and reception, and it was GORGEOUS. It was lush, a little secret-garden-feeling, with the cabanas and fountains giving it a completely different energy than the busy Colfax strip just outside. The garden could easily accommodate a couple hundred people, so with our group of 25 (five of them kids) we had all the room we needed, including a wonderful grass area where we danced the night away. When we got a sunny September day, the team had umbrellas ready at the tables. They anticipated our every need and delivered on things that we hadn’t even thought of yet!
Chef Josh's menu was a highlight of the whole day. Whipped tofu and mushroom toast and a crudité with green goddess dressing to start, then a family-style Caesar and a summer spaghetti with blistered cherry tomatoes and basil, followed by whole roasted chicken with dressed kale and herb-roasted cauliflower. Dessert was a passion fruit pie and a two-layer funfetti Cake of Celebration covered in tiger decorations that fit our whole vibe perfectly. There were even ice cream pops from Sadboy Creamery. Lots of variety for whatever our guests may fancy! What really stood out, though, was how the kitchen worked with us to accommodate a variety of menu considerations. We had vegetarians, meat lovers, and children with a crowd who enjoyed alcoholic and NA options. They worked with us to build an incredible menu with courses so nobody felt like an afterthought.
The service was incredible, throughout the planning and during the event itself. Chris made us feel welcome from our very first visit, long before we'd signed anything, and stayed in our corner through the entire planning process. Lindsay, who managed our event, was endlessly patient through questions, menu tweaks, and last-minute questions. AV was on site and ready to go, they let us use their bubble machine without blinking, and they even helped us coordinate our officiant — THE Felony Misdemeanor — along with DJ recommendations (THE Buddy Bravo)! All we brought ourselves was some minor table decor and linens; everything else, the team handled. It was an incredibly low stress planning process, and with all of the details handled by the incredible staff, we were able to focus on being with each other and our guests on our big day.
Having spent years organizing catering for large events and weddings myself, I don't say this lightly: being able to hand the venue a concept and a budget and trust their staff to run with it — knowledgeably, professionally, and without a single hiccup — is a gift. Our day was truly perfect, and Champagne Tiger is a huge reason why.
