I was in the Bay Area at the time, and my fiancé was in SoCal, so I needed a planner with great communication skills, organized, and who had a strong recommendation for vendors. At our first meeting, she wanted us to share our vision for our wedding, so I shared my lengthy list of things along with my vision board. Our dream wedding didn't intimidate her. She met our expectations with expertise, creativity, and organization. Over the year or so we worked with her, Ciani grew to know us personally, and naturally, the planning process became easier and more exciting. I looked forward to our meetings and completing tasks off our checklists (which, surprisingly, my husband thoroughly enjoyed!). From other brides, I heard the last two weeks were a bit overwhelming with guest list changes, vendors confirming their list of things & more, but through it, all Ciani was accessible and remained super calm when I felt overwhelmed. The day of the wedding was a complete dream. I was brought to tears when we saw how the ceremony and reception were transformed, and my vision board was brought to life ( truly a dream come true). We ultimately decided to get married outside of California and therefore must go with a local planner out-of-state, so we are very sad that we can't use Ciani's planning services for our actual wedding day. I have no doubt in my mind that she would have done a spectacular job for our wedding planning if had decided to stay local for our wedding and had the pleasure of using her services until the end. Aside from kind, professional, and creative (amongst MANY other things) Ciani was PATIENT with us. She has literally become like family to us. She was with us thru not one but THREE different dates and venues because of the pandemic. We were originally going to get married in August 2020 and ended up with Dec 2021! Thru it all she shared in our grief of having to post-pone and gave us hope when we needed it. Especially when I lost my father just a few months before the wedding and had to take time off to plan his funeral. We will forever be grateful to how kind and sympathetic she was with us. She gave us plenty of ideas as well as things to consider without being overbearing and gave us lots of reminders along the way. When we opted to no longer post-pone, she walked us thru what she called a MINIMONY (cute or what!!!) and it was PERFECT for us. Thanks to Ciani and Kyla, my in-laws backyard was transformed into the GORGEOUS garden/vintage wedding we always wanted! Ciani and Kyla were INCREDIBLE in more ways that I can tell you!!! The hard work that they did to flip the backyard from ceremony to dinner reception and making it all look stunning was more than we could have asked for. Down to the last detail, Ciani and Kyla were on top of it! They even came and checked on us to see if we needed anything and also made sure we ate! Our guests were very impressed with the transformation. My in-laws who have never entertained in their backyard were SUPER impressed with how all the vendors were handled and how clean and organized everything was after the event. They keep stating that if they ever have an event, they would hire Ciani and so should you. So again, trust me from one Mrs. to another, STOP LOOKING. You have found your champion wedding planner with Ciani and her team!

Where Ciani and Kyla shinned was on the day of our wedding. Ciani truly did make our day go as planned and I was able to enjoy it without having to deal with the small problems of the day. She was calm, and always around to ask questions, and constantly moving and making sure we were on schedule so that we had all of the things we wanted photographed while the photographer was there. They set up, tore down and packed all of my decorations beautifully for easy transportation. If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator/planner, I would definitely get one, but if you want someone that will make you feel like you truly got a good return on this investment, then Ciani is your girl!

She stuck with me through COVID, and kept me on track to make sure everything was ready, the way I wanted it to be, for our big day. She was flexible and accommodating; an excellent communicator who can handle not only me, but all of the vendors, without my ever having to worry about it, which is hands down a challenge for my type A personality. When the day came, her and her team were phenomenal. They problem-solved and troubleshooted issues that came up, and made it a point to make sure I never needed to stress about it. Their ability to improvise in a pinch and still bring my dream to fruition was remarkable, and I am still in awe of what they were able/willing to pull off. I may not have thought I needed a planner- but I could not have gotten through planning without Ciani, and we would not have had the most amazing wedding without her and her team. We are ridiculously grateful for their hard work, and i personally am even more grateful that she came into my life ♥️

We hired her as a day-of coordinator, because we had done most of the planning ourselves (with the help of our venue). But we decided we didn’t want to be worried about logistics on our wedding day, and just wanted to have fun. Ciani gave us that, and way more. Her website is stunning. She has beautiful creative visions, and can carry out the most gorgeous, elevated looks for any wedding theme. I was honestly a little worried, because the decorations and event timeline we had planned were pretty relaxed. I thought I might not be fancy enough for all of the beautiful things I saw on her website. But Ciani is amazing at her job because she wants every client to have the wedding of their dreams, not hers. She was perfect at helping us carry out our fun, silly, kegger wedding. And she helped it look extremely organized and pretty! She prepared an event timeline so we didn’t have to worry about our vendors. She made sure the memorial area we set up for my Dad was special and meaningful. And she was just the kindest, sweetest, most awesome person to work with (as was her wonderful assistant.) Having Ciani in-charge made us feel so relaxed and supported on our wedding day. Now, she our friend as well! I can’t recommend her highly enough.

We were particular concerned because we were planning a long distance wedding from North Carolina, so we knew we would need a lot of help and someone we could communicate with. Ciani immediately drew us in with her enthusiasm and her ability to tailor what we wanted, which was everything! She was also very honest about expectations, especially surrounding her other wedding commitments which we appreciated. We worked with Ciani for a year and she provided great recommendation for vendors, she was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. We put a lot of faith into Ciani and the design of our wedding. We were not disappointed. The somewhat bare room was completely transformed and was exactly what we wanted. There were such lovely touches and attention to detail. Ciani was also cool as a cucumber on the day of the wedding, I heard so many stories of questions my family members had for her on the day of the wedding and everytime I saw her she hadn't even broken a sweat. She talked a lot with me at the beginning on simple things that would make normally make me feel stressed; like chargers or no chargers, what flow worked best, and so on. She was reaching out to all of my vendors and getting a game plan together. The morning of she made my ceremony and reception come to life and it looked like what I had envisioned. I told her my thoughts on where I wanted some things and she put her own personal touch to make it look even better. Throughout the day from getting ready, to the ceremony, to the reception they were so on top of it. I absolutely cannot imagine how my wedding would have turned out without them! Ciani & Kyla kept drinks in our hands, told my dad when his toast was coming up, told the DJ when he wasn’t being loud enough or talking too close to the mic, and she kept everyone in the bridal party in line. It was truly a magical day and when I think of everyone I hired and everything that went on, Champion Event Productions is the first thing that comes to my mind. During the wedding, there were a few hiccups but these were things that I didn't know about until after the wedding. She took care of things and made sure that neither myself or anyone else knew what was going on. To say that she minimizes stress would be an understatement. She made sure that we were taken care of. And if we were running short on time, she would politely tell me so. She really does her job well. I would recommend anyone to her when it comes to wedding planning. She knows her stuff and makes sure that we are not overcharged. I would gladly use her services again.

We had some of our vendors booked by the time we hired Ciani, but she was available on a moment's notice if we had questions about vendor quotes and services, and she made us feel good about every decision. She worked with the venue's point-person seamlessly, handling the set up, ceremony-to-reception turnover, and breakdown effortlessly. This includes the last-minute, week-of scramble when rain popped up on the forecast, and we had to change the whole floor plan and vendor arrival/ set up times to accommodate possible bad weather. She created an amazing day-of timeline, walked our wedding party through the rehearsal, and was a BOSS the day of the wedding. I kept catching glimpses of her in the corner of my eye, and I just knew she was fixing some logistical situation or emergency, and I never gave it a second thought because I knew she would take care of it. At the end of the night, we asked her to send us a list of everything that went wrong (1) so we could give her praise for dealing with it, and (2) so we didn't overly praise any vendors who screwed up. And boy, did she deserve praise! I mean, most of our vendors were fine, but there were so many issues that we were on aware of. The take away here is that Ciani will handle everything for you, and she will make on-the-spot decisions and execute plans in a way that vibe with your wedding vision and theme. In short, she is everything a coordinate/planner should be, and now I just want to throw another party so we can hire her again. THANK YOU, CIANI!
