ur family, dogs included!! Since our blended family truly came together on our ski boat, we decided to have our wedding actually on our boat dock. Chantelle took it with aplomb and came up with tons of wonderful wedding pictures: There at the ceremony, at the lakeshore with the entire wedding party, an "art" photo with unique lighting in the covered part of the dock with boats surrounding us, which still hangs on our wall to this day. But our favorite was the sequence of photos she took of Jess (groom) tearing up in happiness, then his 15 year old son/best-man looking on with a smirk on his face. CLASSIC!!! She was very accommodating when we had the 5 of us had a series of silly pictures to take... one of which hangs on our wall as well!! She has also done our Christmas photos over the years - gracefully handling the 4 dogs that come with us, as well as the "you want to do WHAT???" ideas we come up with (one off-the-wall pose per year). Her pictures are seen by our entire Christmas Card List and always get rave reviews. As stated above, the only reason you should NOT use Chantelle for everything you do is that it reduces the time she has available to take pictures of us!!!!! (OK... Now *I'm* being silly.... seriously, go hire her!)

Not only was I looking for quality, I was looking for someone who would understand what I wanted without me knowing what I wanted. For our engagement photos, we wanted to do something a little unconventional with taking some photos on a playground, and some in dinosaur costumes (along with "normal" ones too :)) and she was so enthusiastic in helping our vision become reality. She happened to already know Chantelle, so she reached out to her to inquire about cost and to let her know our general elopement plans. We met with her to go over details and were sold - she has obviously shot weddings before, and she has shot Big Bend National Park, where we were planning to elope. I could literally not possibly be any happier with the photos she took, and we could NOT have found a better photographer for the job. A lot of elopement photographers have a really specific style and add a sepia tone to the photos in editing - they look really good but it was not the look I was going for. Although sepia is almost an inevitable color palette for the desert, Chantelle managed to capture all of the vibrant colors involved in our wedding. She managed to capture the excitement and the fun of the day without anything looking manufactured. Seriously, she is a phenomenal photographer and fun to be around, which will definitely put your mind at ease during your big day.

We scheduled shoots with Chantelle 3 times: 1) Causal engagement pictures 2) Formal engagement pictures and 3) The wedding itself. For our engagement and wedding photos the only thing we had planned was a rough idea for outfits and we relied on her experience as a DFW photographer to know "the spots". Before you venture out to a location she'll work with you to figure out the type of moods you want for the photos. We're laid back, we love to laugh, and Chantelle did amazing keeping us comfortable and smiling. For any wary couples - if you don't know exactly where and how you want to be shot try your best to be open minded and have the flexibility to rely on the professional to do her work. Chantelle is a pro. After the engagement shoots we had 200% confidence that the wedding shots would be flawless. The pictures from our wedding turned out absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend Chantelle enough. For the MIL's - she understands you want to share it all on social media but also want to preserve the highest quality versions of the wedding forever. Don't worry - Chantelle delivers. Multiple digital formats on USB and she can even print ultra high quality photos that far surpasses prints you've seen before. If I ever have to get married again you better believe she'll photograph that wedding too!

I had so much fun when she did my bridal photo shoot and it was hard to choose my favorite from the many photos she took. I have a large family and she did an amazing job with all of our family photos. She also captured so many great candid shots that reflect the happy moments throughout the day. It was a beautiful box with the most gorgeous flash drive I’ve ever seen 😍 (didn’t know that was even possible) and about 20 printed out pictures from both shoots. So, spend the extra money to go with the upgraded package! Also, we opted for the two photographer option. Her second photographer was also a dream come true and totally worth spending extra for. You definitely want to get all angles during the walk down the isle! Pictures are all you have years after the wedding! Oh, and definitely get her all day at the wedding! Some of the best photos were of people dancing. My family also commented on how awesome it was that Chantelle stayed around me and my husband all night taking photos, being very attentive! I will definitely use Chantelle for more photo sessions! She’s also fun to follow on Facebook. She takes pictures with all the dogs at shelters and it melts my heart!
