s and they had lots of options. I eventually bought my veil and head pieces from them. I loved working with them however, I would recommend ordering your pieces well ahead of time. They actually ordered me the wrong piece and I didn't get it for the wedding. I got the veil but very late, and wasn't able to use it for my bridal portraits. They worked with me to try to get everything to me, including willingly offering overnight shipping etc. I ended up getting the veil and the headpiece on the day of but only got one headpiece (since they had ordered the wrong thing). They refunded me for both headpieces and overall were very nice to work with. The store associates and employees are genuinely delightful and great. However, if you have to speak to the owner - I hope that you don't have to do it at a time that is stressful or if you are upset with the store because she was terrible to speak with. I was never a stressed out Bride or Bridezilla, I never yelled at them or was upset. I kept my composure and yet the owner basically screamed through the phone and was very high strung. She was extremely stressful and I don't want to work with her ever again.
Over all, I would definitely recommend Chantilly Lace - they have good customer service, their dresses and accessories are beautiful, they have extremely affordable tailoring (only cost me around $20 to alter my wedding dress which is basically unheard of), their associates are very friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Just order ahead of time, and hopefully you don't have to interact with the owner. They are a great local business, which I was happy to support!

rudest people I have ever met. She was over 30 minutes late both times for my fittings. While she was working with me she spent max 5 minutes and never cared about any of my questions or concerns. They were suppose to order me a special corset for my dress which they never did and didn't seem to care. When my mother went to pick up the dress they tried giving her the wrong one. I would suggest going to a larger store where they have the capacity to treat their customers with some respect.

The staff at Chantilly Lace are very friendly, but its a small group of girls and the shop gets very busy. Almost all the times I was there, they seemed overwhelmed. The seamstress/owner was always late and always in a hurry. The first appt went well, but during my second fitting they called and canceled it the day before and I had family coming town so we had to quickly reschedule! During my third/final fitting The seamstress was 45 minutes late and she didn't even look at my dress, she just kept talking to other clients that came in after us. So luckily my matron of honor was there and she went over the dress and asked questions about loose threads etc. I don't know if its because my dress was an outside dress but I felt like my business didn't matter. The day before my wedding I went to pick up my dress and they told me it wasn't ready because they didn't have time to steam it the night before. I was very upset! Luckily the woman working steamed its very quickly and I wasn't late getting to our out of town venue. The dress did look and feel amazing. So their quality of work is great and it wasn't too outrageously expensive. The staff is great, but the owner can be hard to work with. If you take your dress here, stay on top of it!

e on my dress but their turn around time was fantastic!! They did all of my alterations within a couple weeks and that's after multiple fittings! I was so impressed with their work that I had my rehearsal dinner dress hemmed by them as well and was very impressed with how that turned out as well. We had a couple problems with the tuxes for the guys however they were able to contact Jim's formal wear and get that fixed within a days time! They also were able to hem pants for the guys that Jim's formal wear didn't do correctly! They completed this in an afternoon as well! I couldn't say one bad thing about them and would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a bridal gown!

lem. She did a wonderful job on the changes to my dress which included taking it in quite a bit and adding some straps. I felt like she listened to everything I had to say and got it all right. The day of my wedding my dress fit like a glove and not once did I feel uncomfortable. I was able to move and sit with no problems and everyone complemented me on the straps which turned out exactly like I had imagined. Also the price I paid for the service I received was excellent. I would go back to Chantilly Lace for any of my formal dress needs and maybe for that vow renewal in 10 years!!

as the fact that they actually had a sample of the dress I had had my eye on for months! However, their service got a little frustrating after a while. My first scheduled fitting was never recorded in the books so they weren't prepared for me when I came. When I had to rescheduled my second fitting, they forgot to change the date on the alterations ticket, so they called me that morning asking if it was ok to come at the end of the day, even though my dress might not be ready yet. And after having an issue with the bodice, we had three different girls tell us there wasn't much they could do. Their final solution was fashion tape, which if you haven't worn it before can be painful. My mom and I finally brought the dress home where my mom was able to adjust the bodice. I did get my dream dress, though, so overall I was pleased.

I would have given them a higher rating but my bustling broke on my dress after ahwile at my wedding and they were supposed to reinforce my eye hook on my dress and it did not get done so my dress actually broke 20 min before my wedding was over.
