ography was the most important thing for me. I made sure Mia was very well aware of how important it was to us to have incredible photos!! I was assured her fee would not compromise our event and she said photography was included for the full day. I truly feel like our wedding was phoned in. I was at the venue at 11 am decorating and didn’t stop to get my hair & makeup done until after noon. The first time I saw her I was getting my hair done and she came to the bridal suite to tell me her shoe broke and she was leaving to buy new shoes. The next time I remember seeing her I was getting makeup done. There are FOUR photos of me getting ready (all taken back to back) no photos of me putting my dress on etc. We have very few photos of people that aren’t all the same picture. People were never told to smile, it was not fun taking pictures. She only took ONE photo of me walking down the aisle and it’s not great. ONE photo of the groom walking down the aisle...but there’s 3 of the flower girl & ring bearer! Makes sense, right?! Thank Heavens some guests took photos or I wouldn’t have 75% of our wedding and reception captured!! There’s only ONE photo of our entire wedding party and everyone isn’t even looking the same direction. I asked for specific photos which she either did not take or did not send to me. I am ORANGE in about fifteen photos. I asked her to fix them and she basically told me she was too busy and had other clients to care for. For the record, I am not orange in all of my photos so the fifteen in question must have been altered and she will not correct them. She took a few photos of our first dance and a couple of photos of the groom hugging his mom after their dance (no photos of them actually DANCING) She didn’t take any photos of ANY of the other times we danced!! NONE! We can’t figure out where she was most of the reception because we have so few photos. I would recommend her services for birthdays or holidays - something that can be redone if she has a bad day but never, EVER for a wedding. Our wedding memories have been pieced together the best we could but I am heartbroken at the lost memories. I would encourage all photographers to make absolutely 100% certain they can be completely devoted to the bride and groom for the entire day before accepting a contract to photograph a wedding as it’s a day they will never get back.
