They were so helpful with answering my many questions, and despite the weather being misty and cold, my ceremony was beautiful.
If you don’t mind having your wedding during the week for 2 hours , you can get a great deal for this beautiful location
We had visited this venue a few months before our wedding and fell in love with the chapel. We just HAD to book it for our wedding. Well, we got married in October and it was absolutely stunning, beautiful, breathtaking, all of the above!!
We had our family fly in from Ohio (12 guests total) and this was the perfect size for our micro wedding. They all loved the venue and had nothing but good things to say!
We 1000% would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a smaller wedding. Mainly for the beauty of the chapel and views, but also you can't beat the price!
Absolutely loved getting married here! The venue was beautiful and just the right size for our 13 person wedding. The staff was helpful and the reservation was very affordable. I would recommend this venue to others having a micro-wedding or similar event in a heartbeat. If we ever renew our vows, we would be thrilled to come back!
I have dreamed about this place for years and did not disappoint. Absolutely gorgeous and even better on our overcast wedding day. LOVE LOVE LOVE this venue and will have another vow renewal again there one day.
I knew I wanted to get married here before I even found my forever. When she asked this summer, we booked the chapel the very next day. Super affordable.
Staff is so kind and accommodating without ever “breathing down your neck.”
The view is one that is hard to compete with as well. It was like a dream. We got married at 7 pm and the pictures we took right before and after are breathtaking. So much so that someone asked if our photos were photoshopped like that. (We toured the chapel at noon the day of our wedding and the views were just as pretty though! It was was my in-laws first time in the hill country and their reaction to the view was so wholesome. Pictures can’t really do it justice.)
We rented chairs and to my surprise, they were set up for us well before the ceremony. We decided to have our “first dance” at the chapel after everyone left to drive over for our reception dinner, and the staff member took the chairs while making sure that we knew she wasn’t rushing us out!
I wish we could get married there every single year.
Our deepest, most sincere thanks to the staff at Chapel Dulcinea for making our day so special and stress-free!
The venue was absolutely gorgeous and soo easy to work with. It was the perfect location for our small wedding (30 people). Our guests could not stop complementing the chapel. Since we got married in the summer, we chose the earliest time slot so it wouldn't be too hot and it worked out perfectly.
Perfect spot for a beautiful outdoor wedding. My husband and I chose for a mini elopement that was simple, stress-free, and in a location that we loved. This place is beautiful and everyone we worked with was friendly and attentive to us and our guests.
I just loved this venue because of the way it captures the beauty of Texas so subtly but also so magnificently. You don't need any props to make this place beautiful because it already is!! It's the perfect venue for anyone else wanting to get married outside while nature shines upon you.
Our wedding was in June and it was perfect. Everything is easy to get to, my husband and I both loved the small suites we could get ready in and the walk up to the chapel was not long at all. Also, the live video stream was the best because I had family from MX who weren’t able to attend & they were able to watch from home.
I would recommend this chapel to anyone who likes smaller weddings and enjoys the outdoors.
We loved our simple and intimate wedding at Chapel Dulcinea! It was romantic and beautiful and exactly what we wanted with just close family and friends!
It was very seamless! Loved Every about the Chapel from the view to the staff! I had been eyeing the chapel for YEARS and always told myself I am getting married there! When it finally happened it was everything we imagined. Our wedding day was perfect!!! Literally a few weeks before the COVID pandemic state shut down having this small intimate wedding was worth it! Can’t wait to go back and visit!
Beautiful location for an unforgettable wedding, the hilltop view is breathtaking. Chapel Dulcinea has several reception venues to choose from, my wedding was small and wonderful.
Beautiful venue and amazing staff!
Literally the easiest one stop shop for a wedding! It's in a breathtaking location the staff is so friendly and we had our special day for FREE. Couldn't have picked a better place to host Our Wedding!!!
Such a beautiful venue, very easy and simple to book. I would recommend for anyone!
My husband and I got married at The Chapel in Spring of 2019. It was perfect. We wanted a small intimate wedding and this place was perfect. The beautiful scenery made for gorgeous wedding photos. The Bride and Groom suites were perfect for getting ready in, and the chapel on the hill was the best spot to be married to my love. Also, the pavilion next to the chapel was perfect for cocktail hour while we took our photos. The staff were all incredibly kind, helpful and accommodating. If you're looking for an intimate, affordable, and beautiful place to get married, this is it!
Beautiful venue for intimate wedding. The chapel is stunning and the views are breathtaking.
Loved my wedding here at Chapel Dulcinea! They were great to work with. Absolutely stunning location! I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
The views are amazing! Our chaplain was the best. Loved the entire experience and I'm so glad we got married there.
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH THE CHAPEL
A warning to brides and grooms. 13 days before our wedding, I went on the Chapel's public calendar to see how many couples were booked the same day of our wedding. To my surprise, I didn't see my or fiancé name in our scheduled time slot and began to panic when I saw another couple's name booked for July 31, 7-8:30 PM where our names were just a few months prior. I double-checked our confirmation email to make sure I hadn't booked the wrong date and also checked my credit card to make sure that our deposit had been paid - everything cleared out. We had booked in February, made travel arrangements, and all of our vendors and guests were confirmed. My fiancé and I were flying from CA to TX in just a few days and realized that the there was now a chance that we no longer had a wedding venue. But I thought, "it must be a mistake and I have a confirmation email from the Chapel anyway."
The next morning, I was able to get a hold of The Chapel and they claimed that we had canceled our reservation on 6/20. Huh? I explained that I had a confirmation email and proof of payment and they brushed my fiancé and I off and said "they didn't know what happened and couldn't do anything because another couple was already booked." They offered to give us a time slot at 1pm, 9pm (what a joke), or move our ceremony to another day. Do they not understand how weddings work? We had signed contracts with all of our vendors and WE WERE NOW SCRAMBLING TO FIND A NEW VENUE LESS THAN 2 WEEKS BEFORE OUR WEDDING.
The next day, we called again to see if they had notified the other couple and they refused (it's better to just screw over one couple instead of 2?) and also explained that they were able to figure out what happened - another couple had called their office on 6/20 to cancel their reservation and instead of canceling their reservation, they accidentally canceled our date instead. Again, we were given another cold "sorry" with a "too bad so sad" attitude. They said that they would have a "meeting with their staff to discuss the mistake" and asked for our email and phone number - but we never heard from them again.
It was excruciating having to find a new venue (in less than 2 weeks), amend agreements with all of our vendors (some which required last minute change fees), communicate and coordinate the changes to our guests, and pay the new venue the extra fees for last minute reservations and rentals. Can you imagine if I would have never checked the website and if my fiancé, guests, vendors, and I would have just shown up on the day of only to see a whole other wedding in session? Today, we are looking to pursue legal action to recover money lost for last minute reservation fees and late change fees we had to make to vendors and having to book a new venue just a few days before our wedding.
Chapel Dulcinea turned our special day into a logistical nightmare. Please learn from our experience and do not put your trust in the staff at the Chapel. They will have you worrying until the very last minute if they have their act together. The Chapel does not care about your "special day" and function solely as a vendor to keep money flowing in through rentals and hoping that couples donate their deposits.
Find and give your money to another venue that will give you peace of mind.
It's a beautiful venue with lovely hill country views. It was perfect for our intimate wedding, and we just loved everything about the chapel.
My Husband and I got Married the end of December 2019 here! Such a beautiful Chapel and venue! Great staff, very helpful!
We had a wonderful wedding, if you are considering Chapel Dulcinea. Do it! Time slotted is plenty
Beautiful venue & great staff!! Highly recommend!
Such a sweet and beautiful chapel! I highly recommend for small ceremonies and the views are unbeatable.
Great place to have a wedding. So beautiful there. My friends want to get married there now.
The Chapel is spectacular and the staff was so sweet every step of the way. We had to cancel our large wedding due to covid but a beautiful and oh so special intimate ceremony there. Ringing the bell was my favorite part and almost a year later I still find myself obsessing over our wedding photos.
It was so beautiful and the staff was so kind. Can't recommend Chapel Dulcinea enough. You will not regret having your wedding here!
Chapel Dulcinea was absolutely gorgeous! The entire process from booking the location to our wedding day was an easy process. It was also the perfect size for our wedding, which was a total of 25 people, and the views are stunning!!!
The Chapel is not only beautiful but the staff is super nice and the space is very clean and kept up with.
We absolutely loved having our wedding here. Beautiful chapel and view!
I recommend Chapel Dulcinea to everyone! It is the perfect location to pledge your love & begin your lives together.
We were married there in the fall at sunset with the gas lamps. It was the most beautiful and magical evening of our lives! The photos with the sunset in the background turned out to be stunning! Highly recommend this venue.
The staff at the chapel were extremely quick to respond and address any questions or concerns we had. The chapel and dressing rooms were available for us to use on time which was extremely important to us. Check-in for our reservation was easy and everybody was extremely friendly!
Chapel Dulcinea is the most magical place in the WORLD! They were very accommodating and everything was ready upon arrival. I will never forget this place and not because it was our weeding day. You can literally feel a sense of being and love in the air!
Get married at Chapel Dulcinea! Once we kept having to change venues due to covid, we came across Chapel Dulcinea and it sounded too good to be true. Our wedding was 1/23/21 and it truly was stress free. My florist had 30 minutes to set up and we had an hour for the ceremony and pictures which was plenty. Our guest list became much smaller but we were all able to gather. It was raining, but since this was covered it turned out perfectly! Oh, and definitely do the gas lanterns! Couldn't recommend enough.
Loved, Loved, Loved Chapel Dulcinea!!! The staff was helpful, easy going and always polite no matter who you talked to.
We loved the natural beauty of the chapel setting. The chapel personnel were very helpful in every step of the way. Linda McWhorter , True+Love was our officiant and was so professional and thought of every detail to make the wedding run smoothly. Doug Anthony was our musician and played lovely music for our beautiful ceremony in May 2017.
This was the most beautiful venue we found while looking for our perfect wedding. We had a story book wedding that my wife declared as perfect. Easy planning and a beautiful view.
This venue was so beautiful and perfect. You will not be disappointed! All of our family and friends couldn't stop telling us how beautiful everything was. The venue also makes for perfect pictures!! I went through their page as well for my reception and officiant and I highly recommend doing this. Everything was so fairly priced with out having to compromise on our dream wedding.
Everything about this chapel was amazing!!! My husband and I flew in from Seattle to get married here! Breathtaking views and chapel! All the staff here were so kind and friendly. I can’t believe this chapel is free! I still get butterflies whenever I see pics of the chapel 🥰
Chapel Dulcinea is such a beautiful venue and it’s amazing that it’s donation based! We were a covid couple and they took every precaution to make sure our guests are safe. I highly recommend this venue for an intimate outdoor wedding paradise!
Best wedding venue! Scenery was beautiful and the reception hall was also perfect for our small, quaint reception. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for nice wedding venue that’s budget friendly
The cutest chapel ever with great views. Very clean and friendly staff. Beyond affordable!!
We had an awesome experience with Chapel Dulcinea. We had to make some major adjustments to our wedding day due to COVID and Chapel Dulcinea was a fantastic location for our family to come together for our wedding. The time does go quick but any amount of time would go quick on your wedding day I imagine!
Chapel Dulcinea was really great! The chapel is beautiful with a great view and pretty landscaping. The staff was awesome. They helped us reschedule and find some incredible service providers. Thanks Brianna for walking us through everything and making us feel much more comfortable rescheduling everything during the pandemic. Seeing a gentleman in mask and gloves cleaning the bathrooms made our parents feel safe. Great experience all around.
I would give 0 stars if possible. The world is in shambles due to reasons outside our own control and during a nationwide pandemic this business shows no heart. This company will deceive you, they took our down payment which on the website states it as a “donation,” and only partially refunded us. We had to cancel due to Covid-19 which is not in our control and all Brittney had to say was “we did the best we could, hope you have a great evening.” I do not recommend any place that cheats people out of their wedding plans and has nothing to say about other than “have a great night.”
This was our first choice for a wedding location. The scenic views are beautiful and look wonderful in all of our photos. The guests were all blown away by how great the chapel was, we didn't even need decorations, just the sunset. Ringing the bell at the end of our ceremony to signify our marriage was really special. The payment/donation was all done online, which was great for us since we are in North Austin. We were able to view the chapel and the surrounding area during one of their weekends since it is open for touring (when a wedding is not currently happening).
Chapel Dulcinea was the perfect place to have our wedding. The venue is gorgeous! Our guests loved it just as much as we did. The pavilion was great for guests to gather before and after the ceremony. We rented a table to have refreshments while they waited for pictures to be done. The chairs we rented for the ceremony were put up when we got there. It was nice to not have to worry about setting anything up.
We rented deck space from Fang & Feather to have a small reception. It worked out wonderful because the guests were able to relax and enjoy the scenery.
We heard so many great things afterwards from our friends and family that attended. The majority said that it was the best wedding they had been to because the venue was so nice.
The staff was very helpful and polite throughout the process and made it smooth. I didn't have to worry about anything.
Everything turned out more perfect than we imagined. I would recommend this venue one hundred times over!
We had our wedding renewal there July 1st 2019. Chapel Dulcinea is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do NO justice. The staff is super nice! I had a lot of questions thru out my planning and emails were responded to within minutes. The veranda room is perfect for a small gathering. The staff was helpful setting up and respected our space during the wedding but was not far away if I had questions. Our officiant Minister Sherry Khalil was so kind and patient with us, we absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married.
A wedding is supposed to be a joyous occasion, but after getting married at Chapel Dulcinea and using one of their reception venues, we were almost unable to enjoy our special day. The customer service at the Chapel, after they received the full payment for the reception venue, was poor. They were so helpful when we arrived to visit the chapel about 10-20 times to show our mothers the venue and to ask questions. Once they got the money, they seemed to stop wanting to help and go back on what multiple employees had told us about the costs of adding time or upgrading from the smaller venue to the bigger venue on their property. While it is called "the free wedding chapel" that is about the only thing they hold up on their end. If you ever want to use their reception venues, just don't. It is a much better idea to move your reception to another venue, a restaurant, or even your back yard before shoveling out any extra money to these folks, especially when you can't even go to the reception venue early (when there are no other receptions booked) to set up and decorate, since they don't do any of that either. We actually had to get friends to come decorate while we were getting married because, unless we wanted spend an EXTRA $350, we only had an hour to decorate and it was the time when our ceremony was. Unfortunately, we were not in a place to cancel our reception with them since we wouldn't even get a full refund and, of course, all of their drama started about a month and a half from our wedding date. That's the time when we should be finishing off all of the different things that we have to pay for and schedule and just enjoy the excitement, but instead, the poor customer service and management put even more stress on top of everything else. Once the reception was over, the host that we had was just trying to force us out, even throwing away some of our decorations in the process. She was very rude!
The weekend before the wedding and reception, we went up to let my niece practice since she had never been a flower girl before. We stopped in the office to ask a few last minute questions. We saw that the smaller venue already had the tables set up in their places and with the linens already on them. When my wife asked about when the event was, the girl in the office told us that the couple paid for the whole day and came to decorate. Well, there were no decorations so I had a hard time believing her. I checked the website since they have all of the events posted there. The couple only had the event for half of the day so the people in the office set the tables up. Since we spoke to the manager about the difference in cost to upgrade to the bigger venue, they treated us like we were dirt. When our decorators arrived, the tables were folded and leaning again the wall. Every event that I have seen set up there, has had the host setting up the reception tables and linens, except for ours. We were never rude to them when we were trying to figure out why we were told one price and then forced to pay another price, but even the operations manager treated us poorly.
Thanks Chapel Dulcinea...for trying to ruin our special day.
Beautiful venue
It is always a pleasure working with Chapel Dulcinea. The Veranda Room was perfect for such a beautiful brunch reception this morning! We love working with your team, always such a great experience! They are always so professional and happy every time we are there! We are looking forward to working with y'all again!
Absolutely amazing! It was a dream come true and everything we could have ever imagined. Chapel Dulcinea is beautiful and breathtaking!
Absolutely BREATHTAKING venue. It was just better than anything I could have imagined.
Besides the amazing view the staff was super friendly and helpful. We both love the outdoors so having an outdoor wedding was a must! It was the perfect place for our small, intimate wedding.
So beautiful and wonderful
Our son and fiancee were married at the 7pm time slot the last weekend. The view and sunset were spectacular and the weather was at its best in Texas! The staff did their very best to make it easy for us since this was a destination wedding. We had the Gas lamps lit and donated to the chapel and they received a brick with their names and date of marriage on it and the brick was placed on the wedding chapel pathway.
My fiancé and I searched high and low for a venue that delivered elegance at a reasonable price and Chapel Dulcinea was our light at the end of the tunnel. I was hesitant, since I first saw a picture on Pinterest, thinking there was no way that this place was as beautiful in person. At first sight my fiancé and I fell in love and knew that our 200 guest list would simply have to become a more intimate ceremony. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us insight about when is the best time to book our wedding. We cannot wait to have our April 2019 wedding here and encourage every bride to do the same!!
Loved it! It was beautiful and saved me money! They were so very kind! I wouldn’t have chose any other place with all the money in the world!
