Chapel Hill Country Club

d we both loved it. The location and venue are beautiful both inside and outside. We held our wedding in December and had both the ceremony and reception inside. The weather was nice enough, so the cocktail hour spilled outside, which was great given COVID. Maggie, the event coordinator was wonderful! She was always responsive to emails, set up a tasting for us, and helped us as needed with planning. She also helped run our wedding rehearsal and was essentially a day of planner for us - setting up all of the decorations we had and cleaning up at the end of the evening. She is incredible! Chef is amazing as well and we received so many positive compliments on the food too. The staff was incredibly friendly. We were able to get ready at the venue and use the locker rooms. Maggie also set it up so that the bridal party could enjoy lunch too. This venue is a great value but truly is a great find given the people that work at the Country Club. Would recommend to anyone planning a wedding.

their wedding/event coordinator said she would send me a wedding estimate and barely gave me the time of day on the phone. I still have not received any products from them and it has been months. Just due to the limited information and horrible communication we did not hire this vendor and I highly recommend no one does.

ndoors. The men got ready there and the ladies came right in time for the 1st look. We were able to get beautiful pictures on the course before the rain started and some outdoor family ones after the ceremony. The staff leading up to the event and the day of were fantastic. Maggie worked very well with my planner and responded to all needs quickly and tried to do whatever it was we requested. The chef was flexible with the menu and will adapt the set menu to your needs. We had salmon, beef and chicken and everyone raved about the food. It was perfectly cooked for 95 people. The staff serving that evening were so attentive and no one wanted for anything, especially us as the bride and groom. They even set up a room downstairs for the few kids we had which gave them a great place to hang out when they got bored with the wedding. We hosted our post wedding breakfast there the next morning and they re-purposed all of our flowers for us. Overall it is a wonderful venue with beautiful indoor and outdoor options and picture opportunities and more importantly the people make it even better!

Also the price is very good in comparison to some of the other venues in Chapel Hill that will accommodate the number of people we needed. Everything...food/alcohol/linens/set-up was included in the price which made planning a little less stressful. I would def recommend checking them out!
