Chapel in the Vineyard Pretty but not so Pleasant!!Reviewed on 1/13/2013 Alma R
September 15,2012 was our day to remember. We choose this location because of the lovely landscape and unique setting. We were so excited , the location was fairly new and was not typical for the area we lived in.However, come close to the date, the owner was not very professional and we suspected a curve ball.Which is expected, nothing ever goes perfect.BUT.....The experience was not anything we would have ever dreamed of.The owner lives on the property and does not have hired help other than a clean up crew. The man has no idea on how sensitive and crucial a wedding day is , he was unnecessarily rude, extremely UNPROFESSIONAL !!!The place is expensive and the man cant even hire help for a very big position he with holds. Not only can he not be patient and compassionate for a bride and her group, he cant even be a good host for the guests visiting his property. The entire party and guests felt as we where invading his property!!! To sum it up , we got treated poorly in many ways , we felt rushed (to the point where HE began to take down our deco before our time was up)we had no running water for an hour, we didn't have proper electrical voltage for certain deco, he threw away our grooms cake (valued at $200) and was SHEAR RUDE AND UGLY!!!No joke!!! what a wonderful time!!! It had to take our family /friends and the special occasion to keep our spirits up during the event!!! The owner(s) have no business running the entire show ans will continue to ruin more wedding in the future!! PLEASE RETHINK THIS VENUE!!!HAD WE KNOWN WE WOULD HAVE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT PLACE!!!This is our genuine opinion based on our real life experience and truly feel this place is a POOR VENUE TO RENT FOR A WEDDING!!!!DON'T DO IT !!!
