Chapel Valley Farms is a wedding venue located in Vinemont, AL. This farm has been a labor of love for its owners who want you and your guests to experience its charm for your treasured day. This property is true to its country roots from split-rail fencing to rustic accents like vintage trucks and weathered barrels.
Owners Penelope and Matt Lee have aspired toward this dream of owning their own farm and are happy to share it with you and your loved ones. Together with their three children, this family has been hosting weddings on the property since May 2017. These Alabama natives invite you to share one of life’s most special occasions with them on their special property.
Chapel Valley Farm’s rural setting provides a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Its serene landscape includes towering trees and a lovely pond which offers a multitude of opportunities for dreamy photoshoots on your special day. Say ‘I do’ on the romantic outdoor porch whose inlaid brick leads you down the aisle toward your soulmate. Inside the barn, a double-height ceiling with exposed beams makes a grand statement for your wedding reception. Chandeliers hang high above the elegant polished concrete floors and the barn’s loft space looks out over the dance floor. Take a stroll on the enchanting wooden pathway, illuminated at night, as it meanders through a forested area close to the property’s rustic barn. As night falls, string lights cast a warm glow over the outdoor porch for a night of dancing and celebrating beneath the stars.
This venue can cater to indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies or receptions. Their renovated barn provides plenty of space to host your nuptials or for you and your guests to sit down to dinner and cocktails. In warmer months, you might want to take advantage of the venue’s outdoor patio for your big day. For your final wedding preparations, this venue has an on-site get-ready room so you can be sure you look your best for the day ahead. A fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities is on-site so that you can be sure your meals are served hot and fresh. the cost as low as possible. I was working full time and was expecting to have the support of my parents financially as well. My date was a unique popular date 10/10/2020, certain to get booked. When I booked it was almost a year and a half out. Due to unforeseen circumstances my family no longer has the ability to offer any financial support, my pay cut in half and is now part time. My fiancé and I are forced to pay for everything out of pocket and have considered not paying for the wedding and just eloping. But we both want a ceremony to celebrate our love. After much searching I found a venue less than half the cost Penelope was going to charge us and it didn’t sacrifice our view of how we want our wedding to be. The venue owner has been so accommodating and even said we are welcome to rehearse and go in the night before to decorate the venue without any additional charge. Chapel Valley Farms offered nothing like this, and even told us if we wanted to rehearse it would be $100 per hour in addition to the $2,500. I contacted Penelope and pleaded my case with her that I desperately needed the money I had paid down refunded. I mistakenly believe the best in people and thought she would be more considerate and understanding since that date is guaranteed to get booked and not to mention we are well over a year out!!! But she refused to refund any money, the total refunded would’ve paid over half my new venue. Please please please, before you let the pressure of “other brides looking at the date” or anything else, make 1000% certain that you want that venue. I would hate to see any other bride in the predicament I am now in.
