This was the best catering for our Kansas City wedding! The BBQ is true to the scene, and our out of town guests loved getting a taste of KC. We found Char Bar through the Knot reading all the great reviews, and all the wonderful things said held true throughout the planning process. Sarah was great to work with, and we still talk about how delicious the tasting was!

y friendly, transparent about costs, and answered all my questions. On the day of the event, her and her team were very punctual and prepared upon arrival at the venue. They seamlessly set up and stayed out of conflict areas with other vendors. There was an issue with the florist that Sarah helped to resolve and incorporated additional decor into the buffet. Also, the wait staff helped to clear plates and rinse my rented China. They then worked with the wedding coordinator to help repack it. In both of these instances, it was not my caterer's responsibility to resolve. However, Sarah and her team went above and beyond to make my day smooth and effortless. Everyone loved the food and I heard nothing but compliments about the friendly faces. Five star quality for a three star price!!

ven helped us scale back when our guest count came back lower than expected a few weeks before the wedding. We also had a few pescatarians and she was able to provide individual menu items for them which was a huge relief. The staff was professional, polite, punctual, and worked through the wedding line faster than I've ever seen! They also did a great job of cleaning up which was a big requirement for our venue. Of course the food was to die for, especially the burnt ends and the mac and cheese! Highly recommend using Char Bar for your wedding or event!
