We drive over an hour to visit Charisma for Hoco dress for my daughter. Angie as well as the other employee (I don’t remember her name) was so helpful and attentive from the first ...
dress to the last. We chose a dress and Angie pinned my daughter for alterations. We left the store and my daughter informed me she has changed her mind (I was in shock) because there was another dress there she fell in love with but it was too small. I called them, and they agreed to make something happen. We went back to the store since it was soon after and they measured her, let her try on the other dress again that was too small and let us order the other dress in the correct size while refunding us for the difference in dress and alteration price. They did NOT have to do this! I have been to two different shops in the town we live and the refuse even exchanges! Charisma has earned my business and even though this wasn’t the first visit, it won’t be our last!
This place messed up a whole bridal parties dresses. First of all the dresses they tried on wasn’t the dresses they received, none of them fit the girls, then when questioned about...
it, they fat shamed several of the girls in the bridal party. They did not want to make it right by refunding unless the girls went back in and got fat shamed some more. Wasn’t even the same dress they ordered. When asked to speak to the owner the owner refused to take the complaint seriously and wouldn’t even return a phone call!
I would never recommend this place to anyone after such a horrible encounter! Shame on yall! That’s why you can’t leave reviews on Facebook bc there customer service would eat them up! Charisma Bridal and Formals the owner can respond to google reviews but can’t return a phone call, not even an apology. The block you on fb so you can’t see there reviews. Owner takes no accountability

gether. She was detailed in listening to the things I liked or didn't like. Everyone in my party kept commenting on what a thorough job she was doing in helping me pick out a dress. I ended up with my dream dress and I can't wait for it to come in. Truly, a wonderful experience for me and all of my guests. Thank you, Charisma team!

ferent designers. I showed Pinterest pictures of dress styles I was liking & wanting to try. They nailed it with every dress they pulled for me to try. I ended up having two favorites, but they let me try each again, and I was able to choose the perfect one! They even took the time to dress it up with jewelry and hair pieces! It was such a wonderful experience and I would recommend this place for any bride.

Absolutely horrible. I went into the store to find my wedding dress with my MOH, my mother & my son who at the time was 4 months old. When we walked in no one really greeted us. Th...
ere was only one girl really working the bridal gowns. The girl helping me while I was trying on dresses made comments about my weight. Saying that I should get a bigger size since I haven't lost all my post-partum weight. Mind you I am the exact size I was before my son was born. She was a horrible assistant. Instead of encouraging me I felt as though she constantly criticized. There wasn't really anything to choose from and she didn't help or pay attention to what I asked of her. Even if they were the last place in Lafayette I'd still choose to go out of town. I don't see how they're still in business.
I want to thank the staff who took the time to find the perfect wedding gown for my daughter after trying on several dresses she found the "one". From start to finish they were ver...
y helpful.
I don't know how this place is still in business. It's the worst place of business I've ever encountered. I should've known the first day I went in there, and one girl was freaki...
ng out because they'd lost her dress. They had a veil that I loved though, so I attempted to purchase it through them. Two weeks later they still had not even ORDERED the veil. This was after me going there several times and reminding them that I needed the veil ASAP, AND after we'd paid them for the full price of the veil. My mother finally went in there had them order the veil immediately, and when they did they ordered the wrong veil. Every single time we went in there it was like they'd never seen us before. Walking into that place is like walking into a nightmare.
My dress came in 4 months LATE and it was the wrong color, and the wrong size. I was absolutely FURIOUS. Every time I called to check on my dress before it came in, I either got hu...
ng up on or was told I would be called back and never was. I would not recommend anyone going to this place for anything!
My dress came in over a month and a half late after they guaranteed that it would be in my a certain date. My wedding dress came in five days before the wedding! After making them ...
gives the tracking number I found out that UPS tried to deliver my dress THREE times and every time it wasn't delivered because the store wasn't paying the $10.00 COD!!!! Keep in mind that I had already given them their money for half of my dress and the shipping cost! The manager there was VERY rude and not wanting to help find my dress and the owner refused to talk to us!
