The Big Island is an important place for my fiance and I so we hired Charla for a combo family and engagement photoshoot during a family vacation. Charla was very responsive over b...
oth phone and email despite the Hawaii-East Coast time difference. Our family had not had any portraits taken in over two decades! We were all pretty nervous about being photographed and I especially do not like to be photographed. But Charla and Rick are so warm and made us feel very comfortable. The session was a fun and memorable experience on a beautiful beach (studded with resting sea turtles) Charla recommended to us. The photos truly are portraits and managed to capture the personality of me and my family members. Turn around time was very quick and the payment system was painless. The prices were very reasonable. Charla and Rick greatly exceed our expectations, both in the experience of the shoot and the finished product. I cannot recommend this studio enough.
We had the pleasure of hiring Charla Photography for our wedding in Kona, HI (Big Island) on September 13, 2014. I could not have imagined having a better experience with any other...
photographer. Charla felt like family from the moment I met her. Her professionalism was top notch. She had a way of making me feel completely at peace and relaxed on a day usually filled with nervousness and butterflies. Look no further than Charla Photography when you're in need of the best wedding photographer at a very affordable price! We loved every second of our experience with her!

right in with her relaxed style, and we had so much fun taking the pictures! I had the images printed in an album and used it as our guest book for our wedding, and now every time I go to look at our engagement pictures, I also get to see the messages written by my closest friends and family on my wedding day.
We hired Giselle as our wedding photographer and we shot a "trash the dress" shoot. Although we haven't seen the final pictures the few negatives that we saw looked absolutely incr...
edible! She was incredibly sweet and helpful and had some very creative ideas. Very reasonable price also. I would absolutely recommend her!! I am beyond excited to see all the pictures.
