Charles H. MacNider Art Museum is an excellent venue for couples who are looking for something unique for their special day. The Salsbury Room is a great space for a wedding ceremony, an intimate wedding reception, a bridal shower, or even a rehearsal dinner! The Salsbury Room’s spectacular views add so much to every event - decorating can be kept to a minimum!
The Salsbury Room comfortably holds around 100 guests with tables and chairs and up to 175 with just chairs. The museum itself can hold several hundred people.
You can also use the museum as your backdrop and move your event outside! Because we know Iowa weather is unpredictable we do not double book our spaces. If your outdoor event gets rained out the Salsbury Room will be available as a backup to keep your mind at ease.
