Everyone at the salon made my day run smoothly from start to finish! I was thrilled with my up do from Kim and my makeup from Claudia, I would highly recommend them both! The whole experience was so much fun for myself and my bridal party. Everyone in my party was extremely satisfied with their hair and makeup which made me so happy since everyone has such different tastes and comfort levels. The ladies at Charles Scott made sure everyone left with exactly what they wanted and we all felt beautiful and confident the entire day and night! I didn't have a single worry about my hair or makeup throughout the day or night!

Michelle is the very best in Ohio when it comes to spray tans. She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. You can not get that quality in a spray tan booth. She makes sure you get the exact level of tan that you are hoping for. I’ve been going to her for over five years now and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere or to anyone else. Charles Scott in Rocky River did a fantastic job for my wedding! My hair and makeup turned out exactly as I dreamed that it would be and remained flawless throughout the entire evening. In addition, they did a wonderful job with hair/makeup for my bridesmaids and Mom.

This review is actually for the Charles Scott West location at Crocker Park in Westlake, OH. I couldn't find the Westlake location on here, which is why I am posting this under the Rocky River location. I went to Charles Scott West for all my wedding services (including my bridesmaids updos) and I couldn't have been a happier bride! I had been to the Charles Scott Rocky River location quite a bit for my nails but I had never been to the Crocker Park location so I was a bit nervous but my nerves were quickly put at ease! I did both a hair and make-up trial a week prior to the wedding. I definitely recommend doing both!! Again, it put my nerves at ease knowing I loved the way both had come out during the trial which made me confident I would love it on the big day as well. My mom did a hair trial too and she was glad she did for the opposite reason: she did not like the original hairstyle she chose and this gave her time to find something new. Brenda did my makeup and she couldn't have been any sweeter! During my trial she took the time to learn about the wedding, the style, my taste, and my typical makeup wear. I do not wear heavy makeup usually so she was able to give me a look that was beautiful without feeling like it was all just heavy makeup, which isn't me. I felt beautiful but I still felt like myself, which was very important to me! I also wear glasses, which I wore on my wedding day, and she was able to make my makeup work with that as well. She gave me tips for my skin leading up to the big day and just in general helped me relax and enjoy the whole process! Next, Abby did my hair. She was awesome!! She was super excited about the updo I wanted, which made me even more excited and confident I'd made the right choice. She also was able to pull it off flawlessly, which is a huge accomplishment because I have very fine, thin straight hair. She was so fun and upbeat during both the trial and day-of styling! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Because of this I'm even considering making the switch to her as my routine stylist! I also got a spray tan, shellac manicure, and a pedicure. Julia did my spray tan and she was great! I'm very fair skinned and she agreed that their lightest color would be best for me. I've been to other places that push you to get a darker color so I appreciated this. She did a great job- didn't miss anything! My tan lasted just over a week which was awesome! For my manicure, I was with Stephanie. I was a little hesitant at first as she was not super friendly. However, she warmed up as she kept going and more importantly, she gave me the best French manicure I have EVER had!! I have weirdly shaped nails so usually French doesn't turn out right, but she made it work and I was so happy!! Lauren did my pedicure and she did a great job as well. Overall, I highly recommend Charles Scott West! Jillian, their event/wedding coordinator, was able to set up all the appointments so my bridesmaids, mom, and I all got our hair done at the same time. I even got my hair done for free the day of the wedding as they offer incentives based upon how much you've spent in total on services for the event/wedding. Thank you to you all!!
