Amazing food, professional and fun staff, great pricing. Guest favorites included steamed oysters, chicken bog and squash casserole. I recommend the grilled vegetables for their fl...
avor and beautiful set up adds a beautiful pop of color to your lowcountry layout. Loved the day of team Melanie and Peter. 10 stars if I could!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Charleston Bay Gourmet. Simply put, the food was amazing!! They handpick their BBQ and you can really tell. We are still getting compli...
ments on ALL of the food – definitely the BBQ and the fried chicken, but also the fried green tomatoes, boiled peanuts, mac and cheese, green beans, and deviled eggs. Grace was amazing to work with for the year we were planning our wedding. She was very flexible in helping fit into our budget, as well as giving recommendations based on her expertise. Grace was very familiar with our venue, so her advice was really invaluable as we planned our wedding and did our floor plans. We chose to do ice cream sundaes as our dessert, and they handled the presentation and storage of the ice cream and toppings without a second thought. We felt incredibly well taken care of during the whole process, but especially in the days leading up to the wedding. The weekend of the wedding, Chris, Shawn, and John G made it apparent that we were in good hands and ensured us that everything would go smoothly – and it went perfectly! Shawn even texted us with positive weather updates the morning of the wedding as the day went from rainy to perfect! The bartenders and servers were all great and handled all of our guests and clean-up with ease. By the end of the wedding, we felt like family. They were more than a caterer and really went above and beyond our expectations in making sure everything went well.
We used Charleston Bay Gourmet for both our Rehearsal Party and Reception and I cannot say enough about how much everyone enjoyed the food and service. Not only is the price better...
than most Caterers in town, but they also made sure that I didnt have anything to worry about on my Wedding Day. Its been over a year and people still ask me who we used because the food was so good!! I definitely would recommend them again!
Charleston Bay Gourmet is definitely a great value for a caterer. Compared to the other quotes I got from caterers, we paid about half the amount for Charleston Bay Gourmet. The ...
food (BBQ) was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful the day of the wedding. My only complaint is that they were a little hard to reach for planning purposes (we had to leave lots of voicemails to get a return phone call) and they showed up over an hour late to the reception.
