Charleston Crab House on James Island is located directly on Wappoo Creek, with some of the best sunset views around. Enjoy one of our two private event spaces to wow your friends and family at your next big gathering. The Wappoo Room, located upstairs and above the main dining room can host up to 34 for a seated dinner event. Recently renovated, the space boasts hardwoods floor, rustic wooden dinning tables, white metal chairs, surround sound, 75" TV for presentations, and the same views of the beautiful Wappoo Creek. The Sunset Deck is exactly as described: a beautiful outdoor space so close to the water, you can hear it. Watch boaters pass by and the occasional dolphin sighting, all while celebrating your life event. This space can hold up to 34 for a seated dinner or up to 50 guests for a cocktail style event. We are also available for full restaurant buyouts if you just can't narrow down that guest list!
