The Gaillard Center showcases quintessential Charleston charm in the heart of the Historic District. Stunning architecture and modern conveniences within walking distance to hotels and restaurants. Our Grand Ballroom is the perfect setting for weddings, galas, and social gatherings accommodating up to 800 guests. The adjacent Terrace Lawn is a lovely place for a ceremony, cocktail hour, or tented event.
The Gaillard Center offers in-house exclusive catering and in-house AV services to bring your wedding vision to life.
We are a nonprofit organization providing arts education to the schools of the Lowcountry. Our nonprofit status makes the Venue Rental and AV fees Tax Free!

I absolutely love this venue. I’m so glad we decided to go with them. The food was amazing at my reception. My wedding was a month again and I still have guest messaging about how great everything was especially the food. Everyone was so nice and everything was so beautiful!! Nicole and Jesse were amazing to work with!!
The guest loved the grandness of the venue. Especially the lobby.
