ad never been happy with the results. From the first emails with the team, I knew they would be the perfect match for me and my girls. Mason uses airbrush for her brides and I was hesitant hearing the term “airbrush” and assuming that would be feel thick and unlike me on my wedding day - Mason assured me I would be happy with the results and she was right, I couldn’t imagine my wedding makeup turning out more perfectly!
I had my HMU trial in August for my October wedding. I was so happy with the trial, and meeting Mason and Karen made me feel such a sense of relief and excitement for my big day. Mason took all my feedback and small tweaks and made sure everything was perfect for my wedding.
For my wedding day, myself, and three bridesmaids had our hair and makeup done by the Charleston I Do team. Mason and Karen helped us all feel the most beautiful, confident, and radiant version of ourselves. I cannot thank them enough for everything. We had a smaller wedding and the morning was spent just the six of us. They kept us calm, made us laugh, and helped set the energy for the day! I will cherish that special morning forever.
Unfortunately, I will NEVER be able to recreate how absolutely perfect my hair and makeup looked on my wedding day. I will forever be dreaming of that glam!!!!

She strategically was able to make time for them too. Lindsey, our hair stylist is so talented that can do literally any hairstyle you could ever think of. I pulled an audible and did a whole new style than what I was planning and she mastered my vision so effortlessly- she just gets it. was a bride (the most important day to look good right?!). The second I got engaged I knew I had to have Mason and her team as our glam squad. I was so at ease and trusted their team and let me tell you, I looked and felt the most beautiful I ever have! Mason is truly amazing at what she does and works wonders. She and her team were so easy to communicate with and they followed her timeline perfectly! My hair was perfect it stayed curled ALL NIGHT- even through countless hours of dancing! And my makeup was absolutely stunning (I seriously wish I could look like that every day!). With 12 of us getting hair and makeup done I thought it would be a chaotic, rushed mess and it was the complete opposite! Everything was easy going and right on time- no one was rushed and everyone was ready on schedule.

In my experience prior to my own wedding, it was always hit or miss if you like the way you look when getting your HMU done and because you're not used to wearing so much makeup, you usually think you look crazy. for a December wedding and live out of state, but had zero issue scheduling a trial during a visit. During the trial, they listened to exactly what I wanted, the vibe I was after, and nailed it. They're just super fun to talk to and hang out with while you get glammed up so it really makes the time go by! Leading up to the wedding day, we stayed in touch and on the big day, they were right on time and soooo efficient. Myself, my four bridesmaids, and two moms got gorgeous hair and makeup that lasted all day and night. For reference, we started at 7:30 for a 4:30 ceremony and didn't take makeup off or hair down until well after midnight. Can't thank you ladies enough! <3 Lowcountry brides, you must hire them!
