Dennis and his team were a DREAM TEAM for our wedding. I’ve never had a photographer for anything before and he gave such great direction and made my now husband and I so comfortable during the whole process. He is the kindest soul and would 1000% hire him again for anything requiring a photographer. He is also very accommodating with the picturing picking process. We absolutely adore him!

Dennis and his team were amazing to work with!! He shot our wedding in March of 2024 and kept us laughing and comfortable the entire time. We are very happy with our photos and would HIGHLY recommend him for any event.

Dennis literally saved our wedding. Talk about an amazing photographer, and a fantastic person to boot! Long story short, we had a family emergency, decided to elope on the beach- having never been to a beach before. We drove for hours, had to switch hotels, and showed up late to our own wedding. To say emotions were high would be an understatement. Dennis came with ALL THE VIBES. He was everything we needed. Personable, FUNNY, he had us loosened up and the pictures came out AMAZING. Looking back now, a few weeks later, I truly believe he saved our wedding 😅 we had so much fun with him and he got very natural looking photos that really captured the moment. Dennis did our engagement shoot and our wedding. We absolutely loved our engagement pictures and already have some hanging in our house. For our wedding last week, everyone LOVED Dennis because of how quick, efficient, and funny he is. Most of my bridal party commented on how quirky he was, and how it was obvious he knew what he was doing. Not only that, but he is such a funny guy that he is a pleasure to work with!! We are currently waiting to get the edited photos back but when we went to his studio to review them, they all looked so amazing even before editing. We're so excited to get them back!

Dennis was our photographer for our wedding this past week and I am so happy he was apart of our big day! He took a lot of photos for my husband and I to choose from. They all turned out amazing. Two years ago my husband booked Dennis for our surprise engagement shoot and from that day we knew we wanted him do our wedding as well. Dennis and his assistant were both absolutely wonderful to work with! He quickly answered any questions I had along the way which was very helpful during the wedding planning process. Even though it rained on our wedding day, Dennis had plenty of creative ideas for pictures. They turned out even better than I could have imagined! Little did I know when booking with Dennis back in July 2022, how incredible our pictures would be for our wedding last month. His work stood out to me from the beginning when I reached out to my five top photographers. He was my number one from the start but I wanted to explore my options. He was always very prompt with responding to every single question I ever had and gained my trust within a short few messages. He did our engagement session and was absolutely hilarious. He made things comfortable and funny when typically everyone starts out very stiff and awkward. We got our pictures back and my jaw dropped. He exceeded our expectations and I immediately knew we had chosen the right one for our wedding photos. On our wedding day, we had so many compliments about our photographer and his assistant and we’ve continued to hear compliments from people over a month later. Our pictures are beautiful and we are so excited to receive our album and framed shots. I can’t say enough great things about Dennis and his team and feel very blessed to have come across his work on theKnot!

Hiring Dennis as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I have been in 5 weddings (not including my own), and I will just say that not every photographer is able to make the experience as enjoyable. Dennis is great at giving direction for posing so that we looked natural and relaxed in our photos. He chose great locations for our photos and kept everyone entertained and laughing through the process. He was also incredible with our very excited and emotional flower girl. He also stayed late to photograph our champagne saberage and toast (our wedding coordinator accidentally let the venue serve the champagne we were going to use and some our friends had to run out to get more). Dennis is the total package with both incredible talent and personality! He is so easy to work with, and we cherish the beautiful photos he captured for us. Hire him! You will not regret it!

Dennis was incredible to work with. He helped us coordinate multiple aspects of our wedding (photography, flowers, officiant) and everything turned out wonderfully! Dennis’ lighthearted demeanor made him a joy to work with. He really put us at ease. The photos are amazing! We had the pleasure of working with Dennis and his assistant just a few weeks ago for our wedding at the Gazebo in White Point Gardens, Charleston. We are not from South Carolina, but have made frequent trips to the Holy City and knew that this was the place for us to get married. Dennis' online portfolio drew us to contact him and we were so incredibly glad we did! He was extremely prompt with all the back and forth emails from coordinating dates and offering tips on the best time of day for an outdoor wedding, to reassuring us that rain would only make the pictures better (it happened to be a very rainy week, but the sun came out just an hour before the ceremony!). I had the pleasure of working with Dennis and his team this past weekend at one of my clients Weddings at Pepper Pavillion and they are 5 Star all the way. This review is for Dennis's photography of a bachelorette weekend that I organized -- he took photos of the bride with her 5 closest friends in Charleston, SC, and he was amazing! Sadly the bride had already signed a contract for a wedding photographer local to where her wedding is happening -- but if she hadn't, I am certain she would have booked Dennis for her wedding, as well! This is an absolute RAVE review -- I can't say enough good things about Dennis! TL;DR: - Super warm, friendly, personable photographer - Very talented at getting camera-shy people to relax in front of the camera - Clearly an expert at using natural light, as well as using flash to supplement when natural light isn't sufficient - Excellent at corralling difficult/unruly people (e.g., tipsy, distracted types) into the frame & into the right poses, at the right time - Incredible customer service, both before the photoshoot, during, and after --> sent us edited photos in record time after the event Dennis was an absolute bargain, and a pleasure to work with - book him now! Details: Recently, I helped plan my best friend’s bachelorette party in Charleston. Last minute, her fiancé said he wanted to book a surprise photoshoot for the group of 6 people — despite the bride & her friends generally being camera-shy. I was nervous about the idea, but it ended up being amazing — which is ALL thanks to Dennis and his great personality & talent behind the camera! Dennis completely outdid himself in selecting the most perfect locations for the photos and the most beautiful backdrops. Most importantly, though, he created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, meaning that everyone in the group (including those of the group who are usually very camera-shy) felt very comfortable - it was almost as if we were just hanging out by ourselves, laughing together. The photos he took captured the special bond between us as friends as well as the beauty of Charleston. They were way better than what I had hoped for -- he’s so talented that you can't even tell one of us had come in from a redeye or that we’d all just finished a lengthy wine tasting! Not only that, but our photos were uploaded and shared with us in a timely manner, allowing us to choose our favorites and share them quickly with family and friends. The level of customer service was unparalleled. It was clear Dennis wanted to ensure our satisfaction with his work AND ensure that we had a great & fun experience. We can't thank Dennis enough for making the most incredible memories of our special sunset evening in Charleston. Highly recommend Dennis for any type of photos (e.g., family, engagement, wedding, bachelorette, modeling) - you won't regret it! Dennis was awesome! We had a small intimate elopement. The ceremony was at sunset and he really captured the magic! He was enthusiastic and funny which helped keep the mood light but, also professional and knowledgeable of his craft. Once we saw his work it was true art we loved nearly every photo! I highly recommend Dennis!

We just finished looking through all of our wedding pictures with Dennis--I'm not sure my review can do his talents justice. Honestly, he made me so comfortable on my wedding day, and his other photographer, Shannon, was amazing and so sweet to work with too. His photography is unique, and his eye for details and enthusiasm is just such a breath of fresh air, I love his passion for his work and you can tell he cares so much about his clients. He can take the shyest of people and make the experience so much fun. My wedding was a dual ceremony and time was a challenge, yet his team did not miss a beat and he captured the day BEAUTIFULLY, and not once did I feel rushed and you would never tell by the pictures that we were on a timeline. You cannot beat his prices, and when you see his work, you'll want to pay for even more pictures beyond what you initially paid for (which he will NEVER force on you, but will very kindly explain what options you have). I look forward to working with Dennis for all future milestones and cannot recommend him enough. We did our engagement pictures with Dennis as well, and he just keeps amazing us over and over again.

I’m not even sure how to accurately put into words just how amazing Dennis is. From the moment we first reached out to him for a question and a quote, through the time leading to wedding day, to wedding day itself, and now after - he has gone above and beyond to make our experience seamless and amazing. After my parents scheduled Dennis for our engagement shoot, I knew that we had to go with him for our wedding as well and I’m so glad I did! He is a fantastic photographer and person. Aside from having the best pricing around the Charleston area, Dennis is a top notch photographer! He is so incredibly easy to work with. We did not know what to expect during our engagement photo session because we had never had professional photos done before, but he directed us through everything and made it so easy, and so much fun too! We booked him a little over a year out before our wedding just based off of his reviews and photo samples online, and we feel that it was such a blessing that he was available and that we were lucky enough to book him. We were absolutely blown away by our engagement session photos! We knew then that we had chosen the perfect photographer for us, but we just went to see our wedding photos today, and even before any of the editing (which by the way ladies, if you have a little double chin going on, or a photo that isn’t too flattering in the waistline, he can usually fix that too!), we were once again blown away. They are absolutely GORGEOUS. I have never been a photogenic person, but he really knows how to capture the best angles, and some of those pictures could have been magazine covers. He is amazing. He also offers some really great package upgrades that include some very thoughtful memorabilia to consider adding on, such as beautiful custom wedding albums and more. On top of all that, he is just such a great guy in general, and we just love him. We are so grateful to have been able to work with him and get to know him. Here’s a little piece of advice: Book him now before someone else beats you to it!!!

When looking for a photographer and all the other pieces it is an incredibly daunting task. When we first met Dennis I just felt assured that this piece was covered. He even offered his personal car to give us a ride to our after-reception location due to time constraints and a cancelled Uber!!!!! We can’t recommend him enough. We actually only got to experience the artistry for Dennis by luck as we booked everything through Charleston Elopements. But easily, he was the most pivotal portion of our day. If we could give Dennis 10 stars we would! Kind, charismatic, caring, and FUNNY are just a few ways I can describe him. Helped to include all of my family, from my grandmother down to our 6 month old son, and made us feel confident in having memories of our big day to last a life time! Even when our exhausted selves were not understanding directions properly he was patient and worked with us. Never once made us feel like we had to rush. On a more personal note, even being a person with extreme body image issues he made me feel confident in myself and for once in my life I looked at photos of me and felt like a goddess! We really hope to some day get to work with him again!!
