Charlie just photographed our wedding in December 2018. Less than two weeks later we already have our pictures back, and they are better than we could've imagined! We knew after talking with Charlie for just a few minutes that he was the perfect photographer. He is professional and has a great personality. He got along so well with everyone in our wedding party, and by the end of the night, he felt more like a guest than just the photographer. His style is great, and he anticipates your needs. He took innovative pictures and also classic ones giving us such a variety to choose from. We can't recommend him enough! We get to relive every aspect of our wedding day when we look through the pictures, and that is priceless!

I can’t even put into words how wonderful Charlie Mather did on my bridal portraits and the wedding day pictures! Every important moment was captured in perfect timing. His talent shows in every single picture and he put an amazing amount of effort into all of his work. He was so patient, professional, diligent and easy-going and I would recommend him for ANY type of event. I didn’t have to worry even once that a picture we wanted would be missed and he made sure we were completely happy with the pictures he took. Even with large groups of family, figuring out difficult lighting, and not a perfectly clear timeline of the day, he was right on time and his patience never once faltered. One of my favorite sets of pictures is the candids of our family and friends. We absolutely couldn’t have asked for a better or more talented photographer or more beautiful photos to remember the biggest day of our lives. Our experience with Charlie was excellent. My husband and I appreciated his professionalism and the personal attention he put into his work. What attracted us to Charlie was our first contact. Charlie is, without a doubt, the best photographer I could have ever chosen! He shot our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits, and our wedding day. We had the best experience with Charlie Mather Photography, he truly is the best photographer in Columbia! First, Charlie has great packages. The wedding photography package we chose included an engagement or bridal photo shoot. We opted for the engagement photo shoot and it definitely helped us both feel more comfortable in front of a camera. Charlie made it so much fun and we received amazing pictures that we fell in love with. Second, he is incredibly punctual with getting the pictures to his clients. He had both our engagement photos and wedding photos ready for us in a timely manner. Lastly, he gave us his entire day! He was on time to the venue and started working immediately and stayed till the end of the night when we made our grand exit. He had additional photographers on his team the day of our wedding to make sure he got all the best angles. The pictures he took we're amazing and looking through them is like reliving our wedding day! I would highly recommend him to do your wedding! We cannot wait to hire him again for future photography needs!

Working with Charlie during our engagement photos was amazing! We had never taken professional pictures before so we didn't know how to pose but he was sure to direct us and made us feel comfortable. Wonderful Photos!! A must have photographer for your wedding!

My husband and I had Charlie shoot our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better photographer! We clicked with him immediately during our engagement shoot and couldn't wait for the big day. Charlie fit right in with everyone and was able to get my flower girl and ring bearer smiling right after throwing a three year old temper tantrum. We also had some friends at the wedding who are photographers and artists and they complimented his work as well. His turnaround time is amazing. We received some teaser photos while on our honeymoon and had ALL our photos shortly after we returned. We are beyond blown away with how wonderful they came out. We will not only be recommending him to EVERYONE WE KNOW but we will also use him for future photo needs. Charlie is a phenomenal photograpger and has become a great friend. Thanks so much Charlie!! I loved working with Charlie and his second photographer for our wedding! They were both very professional and accommodating, especially with large, special situation families. Charlie did he research and had asked me everything we wanted before the day of so I did not have to worry about the details. His experience with wedding photography certainly was evident. Our wedding photos are amazing; he did such a great job capturing everything that went on. We will treasure these photographs forever!

I called Charlie on Thursday to see if he would be able to shoot our wedding that was changed to Saturday. He told me he would check and would get back with me and made it happen! He had another wedding later that day but he came out for us and did a phenomenal job. I am so happy with how the photos turned out and highly recommend him to friends. We had such a positive experience working with Charlie Mather Photography! His photography was everything we were looking for and much more. Charlie did both my engagement and wedding photos. He was open to all of my ideas (like involving both my dog and horse in my engagement shots), and had some creative ideas of his own that turned out to be my favorite photographs. I am a relatively awkward human that does not particularly like being in front of a camera, and Charlie made me so comfortable in my own skin. He is a wonderful person to work with, and the photographs he produces are absolutely incredible. He goes out of his way to make your wedding day as amazing and stress-free as possible, and is the nicest person you'll ever meet; not to mention he gets your photos back to you quickly! If you don't hire him, you're really missing out- I cannot wait to hire him again one day!
