I went in to try on wedding dresses just to get an idea of what I was looking for. They had a few in my size (18) and I found THE one! I left without making a purchase and then moved up my wedding date. I called to ask how soon they could have a dress ready and it was not in my time frame. I thought about it a little longer and received a phone call from the store during black friday that my dress was on sale. I immediately went and purchased it at half off! I got all of my "decorations" at the store during my first fitting and it was all also on sale! Amy did my alterations and she was fantastic. My bustle was color coded and she met with me 4 times to make sure everything was perfect! Such a great experience!

I was married in March of 2014, prior to my wedding my aunt (whom is a seamstress) was going to do the alterations to my dress. Last minute she had to cancel due to my cousin becoming deathly ill. I called Amy at Charlotte Bridal (we were getting our tuxes there) and asked her if she could possibly alter my dress last minute. She did not even second guess it, she said sure (and it was only 2 1/2 weeks until the wedding) even though I did not buy my dress there. She did an amazing job, it fit like a glove! Everyone raved about my dress and how well it fit. Thank you Amy for making my day so special, I appreciate you more than you will ever know!!!

Charlotte Bridal has the best customer service ever!! They have gone above and beyond with everything they did!! I was so pleased and so happy. They took very good care of me. They even hand delivered my dress to my home, perfect and ready to go for my big day. I will definitely be sending all my single friends here!!

This woman are so out of date! They kept trying to put me in a freaking Tiara, even after I told them NO several times! They don't let you take pictures which is a horrible idea because how are you supposed to see what the dress looks like in a photograph. They need newer styles and more selections in plus sizes. The mens tuxedo rentals aren't much better! It's still run by the same old woman who do not budge on anything. They got a very rude attitude with me over the phone because the groom could not be there when they wanted him there to try on his suit, HE WAS FLYING IN FROM OUT OF TOWN THE NEXT DAY, how was he supposed to be there in a few hours!?!? I would suggest any bride in Port Charlotte search elsewhere, just because we live in a small town doesn't mean you have to stay in the small town to find your dream dress!

Not too expensive and they have beautiful dresses. They are very helpful on helping you the dress of your dreams :-)

I STOPPED IN THIS BOTIQUE ON A WHIM THINKING I WOULD JUST LOOK. AS SOON AS I WALKED IN I SAW THE DRESS OF MY DREAMS I KNEW IT WAS THE ONE BUT THEY WANTED ME TO TRY ON A FEW OTHERS JUST TO MAKE SURE I WASNT MAKING A MISTAKE AND I DID BUT KEPT GOING BACK TO MY FIRST ONE. IT WAS PEFECT AND SO WAS THE PRICE. MY VEIL MATCHED MY DRESS PERFECTLY THEY WERE SO HELPFUL THANKS LADIES AT CHARLOTTE BRIDAL.

This shop has a huge selection that can accommodate a variety of shapes and sizes – which you often find isn’t the case when shopping in bridal shops – and the staff are welcoming and pleasant. I worked with Sue who is one of the most delightful women I have ever met. She always wears a huge smile and made my dress buying experience a total breeze.

the guys looked awsome!! the people there were great they were very busy with all the prom boys but made sure that the wedding party was well taken care of and made the day fun and special for my husband!!!

Of the 6 fittings my new wife had(I thought 3 was normal), she came home upset for 5 of them... She told me that the lady would pin everything up where it needed to be, but the next fitting it would not have been altered at all! My wife is a small woman, and her weight did not change at all, not one pound through the entire planning process of more than a year. You would think her fitting would be easy, but this place made it a pain in the butt... They rescheduled 4 of the fitting appointments and were rude. My wife came home in tears twice because of this place...NOT RECOMMENDED

My alterations did turn out like they were suppose to, but the shop was under staffed and only had 1 lady doing alterations. They weren't finished quickly

I made a ton of changes to my dress to make it perfect...and it was! I also got my 7 bridesmaids dresses there! They were awesome!

This was the first place I went for dress shopping and they were very nice. Every time I came for a fitting I was taken care of and looked after, and they really made an effort to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my dress. I found a simple, beautiful dress for $520 with around $50 in alterations.

Lynn and her ladies at Charlotte Bridal Boutique are amazing. They helped us dress our giant bridal party (8 couples) and the rapidly growing flower girl and ring bearer. Great selection and prices! The alteration prices were fair and the work was exquisite! I highly recommed Charlotte Bridal!
