Charlotte Strings is an award-winning string ensemble that delights clients and their guests with the largest selection of contemporary pop string covers available, as well as classical favorites. Charlotte Strings is available for weddings, cocktail hour receptions, private parties, and corporate functions. Charlotte Strings is the quartet in residence for the highly popular Candlelight Concerts series by Fever in Charlotte, NC garnering a large local following during their 2021-2024 concert calendar. This talented group of professional symphony musicians is based in Charlotte, NC and they have been playing together as a group since 2008. Charlotte Strings has a set core of musicians that performs every booking, they do not hire out events to other third parties available on your date. Charlotte Strings musicians have deep professional values rooted in their background as alumni of top tier music conservatories in the country, as well as decades of hands on experience at the highest professional level, including: touring with pop artists, extensive symphony work, studio recordings, Broadway, cruise-ship entertainment, and classical and pop chamber music engagements. Wonderful! We had so many compliments on the musicians. They made our wedding ceremony really beautiful and magical. We are grateful they were able to not only accommodate our song choices but also perform them so beautifully. Their communication beforehand also made the booking process easy. I so highly recommend Charlotte Strings!! Charlotte Strings not only played magical sounds, but they were a dream to work with!! Our communication was so easy and they always met me with professionalism and support. They listened to my vision and any special requests I had! I will always remember hearing the music right when I saw my husband down the aisle! It was so beautiful and created the most perfect, breathtaking day!

Charlotte Strings was super professional, reasonably priced, flexible, and most importantly SOUNDED GOOD! Charlotte Strings was super response when we reached out. They have a wide variety of music for you to pick from and can select specific pieces on your behalf if you're overwhelmed with the options. They were willing to write a brand new arrangement of one of our favorite songs for us to exit the aisle to for a reasonable price and accommodating to our specific requests. They were the most reasonably priced and best sounding group we found in the area and offer a range of options and ensemble sizes to fit many budgets. My husband and I and several of our wedding guests are classically trained musicians and we were all impressed with their performance — Highly recommend!

Charlotte Strings filled in for our wedding last minute after having to move from Western NC to Charlotte due to Hurricane Helene... and you would not have guessed it! They were so helpful, had all of our music in their repertoire, and they sounded incredible! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs strings for their event!

Loved the string quartet for our cocktail hour! I am a huge Beyonce fan and it was so fun for them to incorporate her music into the music, and keep the cocktail hour lively!

From booking to performance, everything was seamless and perfect! Sakira was great at communicating and the trio was able to play all of the songs beautifully for our ceremony. Definitely hire Charlotte strings if you’re looking for versatile and talented musicians!

We have seen them in concert at least a dozen times. They were an amazing addition to the prelude/ceremony/cocktail hour. They were professional and prompt in all email communications. Worked well with the day of event coordinator. Added to the romantic feel of the day. They did purchase music that we requested and learnt the arrangement. It truly helped personalize the event. They played a Wu Tang song!

Charlotte strings were a joy to work with! They had an extensive catalog of songs to choose from, both classics and newer songs (think bridgerton). They were easy to communicate with and we would recommend them to anyone else. We loved the ambiance they added to our wedding ceremony!

We had a wonderful experience working with Sakira at Charlotte Strings for Events! They made our ceremony just perfect! The string trio was gorgeous and helped personalize our ceremony for us. They were extremely flexible with moving inside with a days notice due to weather and everything worked out great. I highly recommend Charlotte Strings for Events!

I hired Charlotte Strings for my wedding ceremony and it was beautiful. The guests are still commenting about how lovely they were. They really set the tone for the ceremony and it was simple yet so elegant.

I searched online for a string quartet that would be able to play nontraditional music selection for my not-very-traditional Urban Garden wedding. As soon as I opened Charlotte String's repertoire & saw that the 3 songs I was thinking of were on there I knew it was going to be a great match! The moms came in to "All I Ask of You" from Phantom, the bridesmaids came in to "Hallelujah" by Paramore, & I came in to "With or Without You" by U2. I could hear the music perfectly & was located in a room below the aisle so I know my guests could hear them even better! It was amazing & I still get chills! Sakira, the music coordinator, was a breeze to work with & was great with emails! I highly recommend them for your wedding or event - even if you don't do a quartet there's options available!

Charlotte Strings performed as a string quartet at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I communicated with Sakira, who is incredibly professional and wonderful to work with. She helped me come up with the perfect ceremony program and we've already heard from our guests how much they enjoyed the music. We are so happy we booked them.

We went to a bridal show where there were classsical musicians in three different areas. When we entered the ballroom where Charlotte Strings was performing we knew we were at the symphony - the quality was amazing! Sakira worked with our soloist to prepare for the ceremony and the results were music to our ears - during the prelude while waiting in the bride's room the classical music selection was soothing The elegant and graceful music set the perfect mood for the beautiful ceremony.
