I told her that I was concerned after a previous appointment elsewhere that I couldn't pull off a form fitting dress, but boy did she prove me wrong! I am so happy to say that I found my dress at Charlottes. She was so patient while I figured out logistics and didn't pressure me into another appointment, or a dress that I didn't love. I will 100 percent recommend Charlottes and especially Hannah to any friends getting married. Thank you!

ing me about my wedding, how I wanted to feel that day and what I wanted my guests to feel while celebrating with my to be husband and I. Hannah asked not just about what kind of dress I wanted (she did ask this too though) but more importantly she focused on wanting to know how I wanted to feel in my dress and to make sure we found a dress that made me feel those feelings. Hannah brought me lovely dresses but it wasn't until she asked if I was open to some other styles and she pulled out the first on that she had a feeling might be the one to make ME feel like a bride and sure enough she barely got it on before I burst into tears. I felt like me as a bride and I instantly fell in love with the dress. Hannah is also very creative and was able to find ways to use accessories to make the dress totally unique to me and exactly what I wanted. We did try a few other places just to make sure it was the dress and we could not get back to Charlotte's fast enough! I was back only a few short hours later to say yes to my dress. Also- I am getting married and live in the UK and they were even able to work with my living abroad, and a short engagement time-line. Truly these ladies are amazing and know what they are doing!

picked out 5 beautiful dresses for me to try. As a queer, plus-sized woman, I was really nervous about trying on dresses. Stephanie made it all so fun and easy. I was able to try on samples in my size (24), and she talked me through possible alterations for each one (sleeves, pockets, hemline). I wasn't planning to buy a dress that day, but she found the perfect one (also well within my budget!). Stephanie really listened and took the time to find exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much!!

I had seen it at their open house and was obsessed. Stephanie helped me navigate the different styles while building up the excitement for that last dress (which ended up being the one). We also did the appointment upgrade which was super nice. Everything felt so comfortable and it really was a great setting to say yes to the dress. Stephanie is literal sunshine, I will forever recommend working with her!

I came in having a strong idea of what kind of dress I wanted, but after trying on the dress that I THOUGHT I wanted and not feeling the magic, Stephanie found me a dress that made me feel like a princess, especially when she added on the veil. I couldn't be happier with my dress (it is unlike any dress I had seen before) and the price was much lower than I had anticipated! So happy I worked with Stephanie and Charlotte's, and the good news is they'll have my dress in 5 months, giving me plenty of time to get it altered. Charlotte's also provides recommendations for seamstresses too, so finding a dress with them reduced so much of my stress.

I picked a dress I never would have selected off the rack for myself but was so comfortable and happy in that was not at all what I was expecting to like. in my size but also have dresses I could try on in-store. I was nervous about going wedding dress shopping because I’d heard horror stories from other plus-sized brides on the internet. But Charlotte’s was a dream come true. Melanie was so sweet and encouraging. We sat and talked about what I might want, and she let me try many styles, even some I would never pick but just wanted to see. She listened to what I wanted and curated her picks so well. She respected my budget, and I left the first time thinking I had found the dress. Then I brought my uncle the second time, and Melanie was so accommodating, and we found the dress! It was lovely on the hanger, as most dresses are, but once I tried it on, it was the one. I even tried on another dress, and nothing could change my feelings. I knew when I found Sean; he was the one. I knew when I found my engagement ring; it still gives me butterflies when I wear and see it. And I knew when I found my wedding dress.

the negative. I felt safe with her to share my insecurities and she was so empathetic and encouraging. Not once was she annoyed about me saying no to a dress or not knowing why I didn’t like a dress. She listened and figured out what I wanted before even I knew it. She picked out my perfect dress and saved it for last. She stayed within my budget and she even paired my dress with perfect veil. At the beginning she asked me how I wanted to feel walking down the aisle to marry my person.
