worked with us to bring all of our special touches to life. Even when a few small issues came up, they were right there to make things right. The venue itself is beautifully maintained, the food was absolutely delicious, and the bartending (Ryan) kept everything running smoothly all night. George was with us from the moment we booked up to the wedding day — always responsive, supportive, and patient with every question. Lisa, our day-of coordinator, was so compassionate in the days leading up to the wedding and made sure we were taken care of all day long. Nathan helped with early setup and did a great job making sure everything looked perfect. DJ Ryan kept the energy up and the dance floor full all night! We’re so thankful to the entire Fab Weddings team for making our wedding day everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend!

nd went over the planning. He was so on top of everything and organized. Also a really personable kind person that really took the time to make our wedding special. Lisa was our day of coordinator and she was also great. She handled everything so I did not need to stress about anything at all. Everything is already at the venue and they work with so many vendors it made the planning so much easier. Matt the DJ also was a blast to work with and I got so many compliments on the music. The Chart House is beautiful with so much scenery. I am so happy I chose this place. It was the best experience.

The bridal suite was spacious and perfect for getting ready, though the groom’s room was small and more of a storage space, so the guys spent most of their time at the bar. We appreciated having a spot in their restaurant to enjoy lunch together on the day of. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our wedding at the Chart House!

he gardens turned out magically. So, so beautiful. Every email was answered, this were clear, day of we were well taken care of. Lisa made sure to check with us frequently (without being intrusive) to make sure we had enough food/drink during dinner to make sure we didn’t have to get up. George was communicative during the initial phase and up to the wedding. Everyone was easy to work with and the day came together just as planned. Highly recommend!

rked with several different contacts at the Chart House/Fab Events throughout the process and I was very impressed with how the handoff between staff worked - everyone had all of our details, etc.. Lori was our initial contact for tour/booking, George for planning meetings, and day of coordinator Lisa. They were all great to work with. Multiple planning meetings, flexible payment plan, and quick email responses to any of our questions was a huge benefit. Being able to access the space at 8am on wedding day was great, we had plenty of time for setup and getting ready. The Chart House also has spaces for both the bride and groom, which is hard to find! The grooms' space has secure storage for the whole day, which is very handy. The staff was very helpful all day. We got a TON of compliments on the food (we did buffet style) and everything flowed very smoothly, no delays in our timeline at all. The bar prices are also very reasonable and made it affordable for us to cover guests' drinks all night. Our DJ, Matt, did a great job - played all the right songs at the right moments, etc. We did not hire a separate day of coordinator outside of CH and wow Lisa knocked it out of the park! She made sure everything happened according to our planned timeline and struck the right balance of checking in without needing to ask us questions all day/night. Her and the CH staff handled all the take down & packing up our items so we just needed to carry out boxes to our vehicles at end of night. They have done a lot of renovations in the last few years and it definitely shows. The outside garden/ceremony space is beautiful and has so many photo opps. Inside, it's a huge benefit that the twinkle lights & draping are just included. The wall behind the head table & shelf makes for a lovely decoration spot! They offer other add-on services like floral, decor rental, officiants, and photographers - we did our own/booked separate vendors for these so can't speak to those aspects.

I didn’t worry about a single thing throughout the entire wedding day because it was all just handled by the Chart House team. I’d recommend this place to everyone!

Our day of coordinator Lisa was amazing, the location is beautiful, and all our guests raved about the views and how it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. wedding my expectations were high and I was not disappointed. I loved loved loved everything about getting married here and I would recommend it to everyone!! We did both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was undeniably gorgeous and the reception was just so amazing! Food was delicious. Can’t say enough about what a great experience it was.

nswered all of the questions we had, responded timely and were able to work with all of our other vendors. We were able to drop off our decorations the night before and leave the items in the locked bridal room. This helped alleviate some stress. Although we didn't get to use them due to how hot and humid it was on our wedding day, it was nice to have lawn games during cocktail hour as an option. The backdrop of the lake and their gazebo area was great to have for pictures! We also loved that we were able to rent some of their decorations like the lanterns and column lighting. It was great to have a private bar and bathroom that was for our guests only. The bar tender was sociable and did a great job with our guests. We loved our menu options and decided on a buffet style. We loved our food choices and our guests shared that they did as well. They were surprised about how good the food was for a buffet at a wedding. We would definitely recommend the Chart House for a wedding reception in the future. Everything went smoothly and we made great memories here!

ir post-wedding dinner there so it was an extremely meaningful choice. We visited with Kayla who was fantastic to work with. She carefully explained all of the options available to us and was always quick to reply to any of our questions. When we were still deciding on some things fairly close to our even she was calm and patient with us and never made us feel rushed. the atmosphere is fantastic! The room we were in is lovely. We loved having our own bar and bartender and private access to the patio and gorgeous backyard area! Our family and friends enjoyed strolling the grounds and taking photos with the beautiful landscaping and lake for a back drop. Our food was very good. We chose a buffet and things were kept hot and replenished. The Chart House is a bit on the expensive side but we did choose some pricier items-such as the walleye-which our guests enjoyed! If you are looking for a charming beautiful spot for dinner, a meeting, a rehearsal, or a wedding definitely check out the Chart House!!

They were very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire planning process and continued to be helpful during the entire day of the wedding. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

beautiful. We had about 35 guests and Kayla, the event coordinator, was fantastic. She provided the right amount of information and guidance. She coordinated the event details wonderfully. We were fortunate to have a band playing there, so we had some light back ground music. The food was great. We had the pulled pork, more than enough for our guests. Overall, a wonderful night. morning off, this caused my friends/family that were doing the decorating to feel a little rushed. Also there was a staff change before my wedding day so that made me a little nervous. The new wedding planner ended up very nice and very helpful! We did find somethings to be a little high priced such as the cake cutting fee and the price of kegs. Overall we loved the chart house and our reception was wonderful!

and the interior rooms are dated and in need of a renovation, but overall it worked. The two star rating I have given is because the event planner and owner are sadly in need of a customer service renovation themselves. The staff and chef were great no complaints there at all. But in having to have to deal with MJ (event planner) and Josh, (owner) I was greatly disappointed. The main issue was an invoicing error that MJ had made and caught two days before my wedding. She proceeded to tell myself and my wedding coordinator that I owed $170.00 after we had paid our invoice in full the week prior. She had billed the cake vendor incorrectly and expected us to pay the outstanding amount. We refused and her remedy to fix the situation was to take away 12 bottles of champagne that we had already purchased or to take away the top layer of our cake. We refused this option and were told we had to deal with the owner Josh. His first solution was the same as MJ's. But after an hour of heated conversation with myself, the groom and my coordinator, he eventually relented and agreed with us to absorb the mistake in house. We then found out that MJ had contacted the cake vendor and told them not to send the top layer of our cake to fix her mistake without our knowledge. What kind of company does that? We were floored! We requested she not be present at the wedding and reception and Josh took her place. The ceremony and reception proceeded fine until the cake cutting and we found out that Josh had planned on keeping the top layer of our cake all along. We confronted him and he admitted that he was keeping our cake. After 45 minutes of heated conversation with Josh and him making my wedding coordinator go home in tears he relented. Definitely not how I wanted my reception to be. Josh told us point blank that he did not care about our wedding at all, he said he had 100 more booked for the summer and that was that. What customer service! Be very wary if you choose this vendor, beautiful grounds, terrible in house management.

day it makes the reception! It was a little disorganized having two weddings at the same location, but the staff was very helpful and accomodating. MJ is great to work with in planning and knows her stuff. The food is a good value and delicious. We had our dinner inside and the cocktail hour out in the back garden - it is stunning. The pictures turned out amazing!! The only negative thing I would say is they are a bit disorganized but if you go organized you will be fine. It is a good location to have outdoor areas and then the back-up indoor area.

ng! We are from St. Paul and had been getting a little concerned about the pricing and availability of some of the locations in the metro, which was why we decided to look a little further out. Couldn't be more satisfied with our decision to do so! The Chart House was very reasonably priced, the food was great, the staff was very helpful, and the location was beautiful! We were able to have our wedding outside by the lake and we didn't need any decorations or flowers because the outdoor scenery and garden was perfect. Our pictures were beautiful! After the wedding we went inside for the reception which was a blast! I heard so many people at our wedding comment on how great the food was (we offered steak, chicken, and veg. ravioli). And I agree - it was delicious! Thank you again to everyone at the Chart House, we'll come to visit again soon! Laura and Brock Teske

ne at Chart House was very helpful, the lady who works with wedding organizing is very efficient, responsive, and knowledgeable. We had hoped for everything to go a tad more smoothly and as planned the day of our wedding, but overall we were pleased. We chose Chart House for the unique setting and beautiful location, and in the end we were still very happy with those things. Side note, the food here is FABULOUS. All our guests are still raving about how good it was!

The only down-side was that there was no other area for the wedding party to "get ready" other than the smaller, dark bathroom in the back of the restaurant.

eremony (2 weddings at the exact same time!). They had to move the other wedding up a couple of hours because we had scheduled our time a year in advance. The day of our wedding, the extra sheet cake that we had paid for, which also happened to be our 3rd flavor, was never served. When I called 2 days after our wedding to talk to her about it, she said she'd get back to me. I'm still trying to get our money refunded ($150 for the 50 slices that weren't served). She EMAILED me yesterday and said that she's decided NOT to refund us for that cake. She gave no explanation. I have proof that the cake was delivered by the cake company, but she still doesn't care to refund us the money that is owed to us....very frustrating! You want to be able to look back on your wedding reception venue and be happy about the location you chose. I would also think that an event coordinator for a location that hosts many weddings would like to keep their customers happy with the place they've chosen to spend so much money with.

no staff in site directing us on what was going to happen next. My large wedding party did all of the work. They wiped off wet chairs and had to place my wedding favors. It was dissappointing.
