Outstanding Catering Experience — Highly Recommend Chartwells! Chartwells catered my daughter’s wedding this February in Wichita, Kansas, and I truly could not have been happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional. The prime rib and chicken were incredibly juicy and full of flavor, and I had numerous guests come up to me throughout the evening to rave about how wonderful the meal was—especially the meats and the mashed potatoes, which were a huge hit. We also selected four different appetizers, all of which were absolutely scrumptious and beautifully served by the wait staff during cocktail hour. For a late‑night snack, Chartwells really went above and beyond with sliders, pretzels, nachos, and hot dogs—such a fun and perfect way to end the night, and our guests loved it. What truly set Chartwells apart, though, was the staff. They were outstanding—friendly, gracious, attentive, and genuinely conscientious of our wedding guests’ needs. They brought such a positive energy to the evening and clearly enjoyed what they were doing, which made the experience even more special for everyone. Wedding Vendor Spotlight @wsucatering Chartwell WSU catered our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! Their communication was always top notch and their team is very professional. The most important thing, the food was delicious, all of our guests were raving. At first, my email got lost but I called and reached out (I’m not surprised I’m bad luck) but once we established contact everything was smooth sailing! The tasting was very informative and fun. The day of their setup was stunning! We had seared ahi tuna on a wonton which my niece says she still dreams about. Some other appetizers and a pasta bar. I loveee pasta and it was so good. The salad was our favorite from the tasting and still sooo good too. We were so impressed on how thorough they were with allergy details for our guests and keeping things separate. The breaker went off at the venue and I was so impressed to see the chefs immediately pivot and pull out gas stoves as an alternative. The problem solved so fast. We had pasta bar and prime rib. They made us sandwiches, pasta salad, chips complimentary for the bridesmaids and groomsmen for lunch and gave us the cutest champagne bottle as congratulations. My 98 year old grandma even enjoyed a whole sandwich at the end of the night and she normally doesn’t eat sandwiches! They did a nitro bar and it was more than enough for everyone and so fun to do. I loved it and loved watching everyone try it. The servers were phenomenal and had everything set up beautifully, throughout the event I didn’t see one speck of trash. They did such a good job picking up and helping my guest. They were so great to work with and their cooking was soo good! 12/10 recommend
