If you have a pinterest board of photos you like she has you send them to her so she knows what you're looking for. Her turnaround is super quick, too! I got my photos back in less than 2 weeks which is almost unheard of. I would highly recommend using Chasing Lilies for and photography needs.

ded up switching our date and venue due to COVID-19 and Casey was very flexible, respectful, and kind through it all! She asked us various questions about our wedding day and put together a detailed photography timeline for us which was very helpful. She was so fun on the day of, made everyone super comfortable, and took tons of pictures! We received our gallery less than 2 weeks after our wedding and were so happy with it. We found Chasing Lilies based on all the great reviews but I had no doubt that I wanted to book after talking to Casey for the first time. I also found out that some of my cousins have used her for family pictures and had a great experience too, so I definitely plan to use her again in the future! More importantly than all this, however, she was energetic, kind, and approachable throughout the whole process. You can tell she truly loves her work, and the couples she works with. When preparing for the wedding, it was clear how much she cared about you and your special day. She would reach out asking us what our most important shots were, who are family members were, and what our vision was where she had me create a Pinterest board (with she came with on our wedding day!) When she entered our venue last Saturday, June 29th, my bridesmaids thought she was one of our good friends. She came in smiling and eager to capture the special day. She instantly gave me a hug and was introducing herself and meeting everyone right away. She wasted NO time jumping right in and we are still in awe on how she did it all. My parents loved her, my in-laws loved her, our families loved her, our friends loved her including those in our party, and we loved her. e could take our engagement pictures back home in Chicago. She is always prompt, extremely organized and full of energy. Our guests raved about her personality as she made them laugh, memorized their names, and held toddlers so they didn’t run away, and was extremely patient while photographing to make sure every shot was beautiful. our wedding. The session was amazing. Casey perfectly captured our personalities and relationship and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. She even provided humor along the way. My now husband and I were so impressed that we planned to book her even before we saw the photos. She quickly turned around editing and we were amazed by the quality and quantity of images we had to pick from. We then booked her for our wedding in February and two family sessions, one last spring and one this upcoming June. The first family photo session was again a wonderful experience. She captured our family interactions, provided us with some laughs and edited photos so fast! Everyone had such a great time! Then our wedding came, and Casey with Chasing Lilies stepped up her game even more! She not only captured everything we requested, she captured moments when didn't even think of, kept us on time, provided suggestions or even helped when need, all the while dealing with several kids under the age of 6!! We received our edited photos about a week after the wedding and I am so in love with all of them!!! The problem I am facing now is choosing only a handful from so many amazing photos!! She has an eye for the environment, the angle, the lighting, and the positioning right down to how high I hold my chin or where my bride's hand should be so that as a consumer I don't have to worry about that - I just follow the directions and have fun in the process. Her passion for great photography comes to life when she works with you, she listens to your feedback and suggestions to ensure the moments you want are the moments you get. If you have a pinterest board or samples of what style or pose you are hoping to have, she will make it happen for you. I've seen her climb trees and bushes to get the best perspective possible for a photograph, something the other wedding photographers rarely do: be willing to get their own clothes dirty to get that perfect shot. Last I have to speak on her personality. As I mentioned before, what we want ultimately is the end product - good photos. The problem is, you can't just keep saying "cheese" because we all know that awkward smile that isn't actually a smile doesn't make a great photograph. Casey's lively personality keeps you amused and at ease with the process so that your smile is genuine and thus the pictures pop with real feeling.
