I can't begin to describe how incredibly amazing Denise is. We stumbled across her accidentally and at the last minute - but the minute we had our first facetime meeting with her, we knew that she was absolutely the right fit for our wedding. Almost two months later and our guests (and the venue owner) continue to talk about how awesome she was. We've been asked so many times whether Denise was family or a family friend -- this is how familiar she seemed with us. There were so many tears and laughs throughout our ceremony. I honestly could not have imagined a more heartfelt ceremony. My husband is not a fan of being in the spotlight, so reading our own vows was out of the question -- and honestly, that was a bit heartbreaking to me. Denise had the perfect work around for this and it made it seem as though we'd actually read our own vows without actually having to. She will never know how much that meant to me. Overall, she was prompt in answering any questions I had by email, text, phone call, or facetime. She arrived early for our rehearsal and wedding and got straight to work. Everything was smooth and seamless. I'm so glad we found her -- she was a beautiful decision.

Denise officiated my best friend's wedding and I (a member of the bridal party) was disappointed by her service, as well as everyone else in the party. My friend planned this wedding long distance and never met the officiant, so maybe things would be different if she had. It typically took her a while to respond to email communication and the bride/groom didn't really hear from her until the confirmation email a few days ahead of the wedding, unless the bride reached out first. Denise showed up late, arriving after everyone else, to the rehearsal and talked with her husband (that came with her) a majority of the time instead of directing the rehearsal. She came unprepared and hadn't read the ceremony script (that the bride made) ahead of time, so she was unaware of what the couple was doing for the ceremony. On the actual wedding day, she was 25 minutes late and arrived right before the ceremony was supposed to start, bringing the bride into a panic! She read off her iPad the whole ceremony and it sounded very monotonous. She kept fidgeting with her device, even locking it at one point and pausing the ceremony. It was definitely not the romantic, smooth ceremony any of us had hoped for! Considering the bride made the ceremony (using both her own words and old scripts of the officiant) and the couple each wrote their own vows, the officiant had to do minimal work and still could not deliver. Unfortunately several other attendants also voiced their displeasure, which is never something you want to hear about any vendor!

There are no words I could use to describe what an fantastic job Denise did as our officiant. She definitely went above & beyond to make our day extremely memorable. She personalize the ceremony in the most loving of ways and took personal delight in marrying us. I was honored to have such a wise, sophisticated, and genuinely caring officiant as she. There was no better person for the job.

Denise did an amazing job officiating this wedding. She was warm and caring and provided elegance and grace to the ceremony. I would definitely recommend her to everyone I know.
