he vendors I spoke to were nice, some were rude, but as soon as I got on the phone with Leigh, I knew this was going to be our wedding venue... and I hadn't even seen the place in person yet. She was very upbeat, positive, but real, which I appreciate. On to the venue... I'm the kind of girl who wanted a wedding at the Atlanta History Center, but couldn't afford it haha! The Pace House was everything I could have dreamed of though. Leigh was amazing and held my hand through the entire process. She connected me with other brides who were also on a budget and could give me some tips and advice. Troy, the master of floral and design worked around my budget, totally captured my vision of shabby chic, without the mason jars :). We had a whimsical willow arch that was everything I imagined. Leading up to my wedding, Leigh would randomly text, email, or call me to see how things were going, always offering assistance when asked (she even helped me wrap up my wedding favors WOW). For food, we chose the Steak, Italian and Southern themed dishes. People raved about it! I was actually impressed because you never know with food in large amounts. They definitely did not skimp on anything. The servers and bartenders were very professional and super friendly. On the night of my wedding, Leslie was there to assist Leigh and she was superb as well. I literally couldn't complain, even if I wanted to. Even the weather was perfect! I recommend giving Leigh a call if you are looking to get married and still need a venue. Did I say how great Leigh was?

decor and lighting. We had our ceremony on the deck, which was lovely both during the day and especially in the evening with the bistro lighting strung around, even with the tent we ending up using. Avenue Catering handled all the F&B for our reception in the enclosed, adjoining historic pavilion, with delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and range of choices for buffet stations. Guests were able to roam through the historic house, which added a nice extra dimension to the evening. Hotels, restaurants and other amenities in Vinings were close by, and proximity to downtown Atlanta made the weekend convenient and interesting for our guests. A big thank you to everyone connected with the House - so happy this historic landmark venue is available to the public!

with the "rustic elegance" are gorgeous. Gillian was more than incredible to work with from the day we met with her until the end. The florist, Troy was amazing! He produced exactly what was in my head and made even prettier. Both Gillian and Troy made my wedding planning so easy and stress free. My only negative is that we were assigned a "day of coordinator" who was the most stressful part of my year planning. I won't elaborate too much because everything else was so great but she was more stressful than helpful. Easily solved problem

lose in the Vinings area! The Pace House was PERFECT. So many nice photo ops with the bamboo, white fence, brick entrance, house porch, grassy area, not to mention the beautiful pavilion. The Pace House did our catering and flowers. They did a great job and helping out with the little details (Troy even invited me to come preview a setup of a wedding that he thought I would like something similar to!) They made sure my husband and I had our own "assistants/waitresses" to enjoy the dinner and drinks. I loved dancing on the porch with the chandelier and lights! The food seemed a tad bit pricey compared to other places but I thought it was delicious! I would recommend the Pace House if you are looking for Smyrna venues! (Everything else I came across did not come close to the charm!) .. also, you can bring in your own beer/wine which saves some $$!

A friend who was getting married there a few months prior found it much easier to arrange time for her vendors to get there, they used the extra space downstairs, etc. I was not allowed any of these "extras". Chastain also decided to renovate prior to my wedding. The end results were gorgeous however, they didn't put up any of the framed pictures, mirrors, fixtures that were there when I had originally booked the venue. My floor plan was also based on having certain things in place, such as the mirrors. I was given a big white box on my wedding day making my displays and rented furniture look dwarfed. For the money and extra money that I paid, I was expecting something more and I was disappointed. They were the biggest let down of our wedding for sure.

The whole staff working the wedding was professional, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. And the clubhouse, views, and location are what makes it.

anta landmark. My husband and I highly recommend this venue which we used for our wedding reception. Some of the pros are the terraces where guests can enjoy the outdoors and beautiful view of the horse rink & Atlanta skyline, the amazing staff, and 2 levels where guests mix and mingle.
