When our own wedding planner unexpectedly showed up hours late, they immediately stepped in without hesitation. They handled everything with professionalism, calmness, and so much care. From coordinating last-minute ceremony location changes to managing every little detail behind the scenes, they made sure our day flowed seamlessly. Because of them, I was able to stay present and fully enjoy marrying my husband instead of worrying about logistics. They were organized, kind, and completely on top of everything. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them. If you’re considering this venue, book it!! The team here doesn’t just host your wedding, they truly take care of you. We are so grateful for everything they did to make our day absolutely perfect.

One note for couples planning ahead: the bar package is purchased through Chateau and is on the pricier side, so plan accordingly in your budget. The venue is on a lot of land, which made it the perfect place for us to spread out our entire day and utilize the whole property. Chateau 1800 is the wedding venue of our dreams. You get elegance, tons of space, and privacy, which is hard to come by in the Savannah area. We are having our wedding in Jan 2026,...

but have been working with the planning team for over a year now to ensure our special day is exactly what we are wanting. Bri and her team has thoroughly guided us through the planning process, kept us on top of things, and given useful suggestions for vendors, etc. Though weddings can be stressful at times, the team at Chateau has stood by our side and supported us. In addition to the planning team, the venue itself is very flexible in its offerings. You have several options for ceremony location, as well as contingency plans for bad weather. The get-ready house is perfect and has plenty of space for your full wedding party to hang out before the big event. The venue as a whole is very thoughtfully put together and they pay attention to detail. We are so excited for our special day!

legant, romantic, and made for an unforgettable day. That said, the planning process did have its challenges. We experienced a few miscommunications with the lead planner/event manager regarding pricing and package inclusions, things that had been previously clarified but seemed to change once invoices were sent. It made what should have been a smooth process a bit more stressful. About eight months after booking, we were also told that we could no longer have our rehearsal the day before the wedding due to another event being booked, forcing us to move our rehearsal to the morning of the wedding. Then, to our surprise, on the morning of our wedding, there was another bride and her wedding party there having their rehearsal. We had been told that wouldn’t be possible, so that was disappointing. It was later explained as a management error, but as a bride who paid for full-day use of the venue, it was frustrating. Thankfully, our experience greatly improved once we were assigned Mr. Sha-Real Nix as our venue concierge. He was outstanding, communicative, professional, and so easy to work with. On the wedding day itself, the two venue coordinators assisting us were also amazing! It rained that day, but they jumped right in with umbrellas and kept everyone calm, dry, and comfortable. Overall, while there were definitely bumps in the planning phase, the venue itself is breathtaking, and the staff on the day of the wedding were wonderful. The setting made for an unforgettable day, and we’re so grateful to Sha-Real and the two coordinators who went above and beyond for us!

t time I drove off property was amazing. Shout out to Veronika and Michelle the venue ambassadors that helped with anything I needed on the day of (no matter how big or small the ask was they were there). Sha who is always so happy and is ready to answer any questions you may have. Lindsay, made our bar a hit! As a bride with a pineapple allergy, you kinda have to get creative with fruity drinks and she did that. She also managed to get a specific coffee liquor for our espresso martinis, and was able to get us a giant Tito’s display that the groom really wanted (plus a few other surprises). Amanda, who previously sold me my dress before she came to work at Chateau, and didn’t have to try very hard to sell us on how amazing the property and team were. She is the sweetest most caring woman and genuinely wants you to find the perfect place for your event. And finally Bri. There are not enough good things to say about this woman. She is the most dedicated, hardworking, type A woman. She was quite literally born to be a wedding planner. It didn’t matter if I had a random question at 7 am on a Tuesday or needed an opinion on something on a Sunday evening as I was attempting to DIY, she was there. I lost count at the amount of times she asked questions I hadn’t even thought about, or asked if I had thought of other options or ways to do something that might (usually did) work better. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your planner just know, she will standup for you weather it’s with vendors, guests, family, etc. She will not let ANYTHING take away from your happiness and experience. If anything she will do everything in her power to add to it. Prime example being my now husband is 6’8” and normal robes don’t fit him. So she went vendor by vendor and made sure our robes for the night of the wedding would be long enough for his arms and legs. I’d like to think over the past year and a half that this team has become a little less like a client/business transaction and more like friends helping each other to have the perfect day.

Communication was great, our tour was wonderful and once again the the property is absolutely stunning. The few things we ran into that weren't presented to us until we arrived on site was you are required to have either a day of coordinator or wedding planner, someone there to execute the day who is licensed. We were also shocked to find out any guests over 120 would have a $15 fee as well as the ceremony chairs have to be rented. Those are just two things that we weren't expecting and that were considered when choosing our other option. Once again, Amanda was wonderful and this venue is amazing!!

Recently my wife and I got married at Chateau 1800. The staff was amazing, from Bri helping us answer every question we had, to Marissa who made the day of experience run smoothly....

Chateau 1800 offers amazing packages, which really made our planning a lot easier and saved us money. One of the packages we took gave us a ceremony arch, a welcome sign, a card box, table linens and napkins, and a few more items. This took away many headaches and it was nice to be able to communicate what we wanted through one company instead of multiple different ones. Not only do they offer packages that help with the ceremony and the reception, they also offer great packages for the bridal party when getting ready for the day. My wife did the “Bubbly Bride” package where her and the bridesmaids were able to drink juices and mimosas while getting ready. Chateau 1800 set up a lovely lunch for them as well. The food was fantastic, but more importantly, they adjusted the menu to help with all of the food allergies. For the grooms side, we had the “Fisherman Package” which let us fish right on the beautiful pond that Chateau 1800 has to offer. They provide us with rods, endless amount of bait to choose from, and some beer and snacks. I really enjoyed because it gave us an activity to kill some time before getting ready that was enjoyable and unique. For anyone who is looking to get married, I would really consider Chateau 1800. If you choose them, you are going to be working with a staff that truly cares about you and wants you to have the best wedding ever.

f what it would look like, and they exceeded my expectations. Bri was so accommodating, making sure last min changes were taken care of. I even forgot my bouquet out of nervousness when I left the house to walk down the aisle and she somehow retrieved it from the house and got it to my MOH before the ceremony was over. She’s truly a lifesaver! 10000/10 recommend using her as your coordinator. We couldn’t be more grateful for her and the whole Chateau 1800 team.
