My wife and I planned our entire wedding, and in our experience of selecting a wedding band we found that most bands had one or two decent singers and any other vocals were simply fill-in. 5 of the 8 band members of Chateau can be the lead vocalist depending on the song being played! This really created a lot of variety that our guests are still raving about! Best of all, my wife got to go up on stage to join in and sing with the band for a song!

When we first met her on the day of our wedding, she was there asking us what we wanted to drink and brought us over drinks and cocktail appetizers while we finished getting pictures taken. She coordinated with each of our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page and kept us on the timeline so that everything would run smoothly. I cannot count how many people praised our band selection during and after the wedding. We are still receiving compliments on how amazing the band was. They do a wonderful job during dinner as well, I looked up and told my husband "I think the band is about to start" He turned to me and said, "they have been playing for the past 2 songs already" I was shocked! I thought it was the DJ portion because of how good it sounded, we could talk to each other without having to raise our voices, and they were really just perfect. They let my husband and I come up onto stage for a song which was a blast and attracted more guests to the dance floor. They work hard to create set lists based on the music you choose! If you don't want to worry about the MC, music selections, lighting, entertainment at your wedding, then you should book this band! They know how to perform at a wedding and created the most memorable wedding day for us!! They even coordinated with my sister (matron of honor) without us knowing as her speech involved music. Best surprise ever. All the musical people in my family raved about the song selections they sang as it ranged from different genres and eras. Book this band, they rock!

We had the 9 member/piece combination including the horns. Definitely add the horns!! Their set up is VERY impressive - stage, speakers, lights, the whole thing!! They dress the part too - all in formal wear! There are at least four main vocals so each song sounds great. Jennifer is a fantastic MC. She is prompt and knows wedding timelines well. She will help keep you on schedule down to the minute which is SO helpful. She has amazing presence on stage and captivates everyone's attention. They are also interactive! For example, they will come down from the stage and out on the dance floor. During "Crazy In Love" the horns come off the stage and onto the dance floor which everyone absolutely LOVED! The dance floor was packed all night - so packed that we even added an extra half hour to the end of the night because no one wanted it to end. I can't tell you how many calls/texts I've received from guests telling me how much they loved the band and how they've never danced that much in their life. So many compliments for them and their performance!! Choose The Chateau Band and be confident you've chosen really, really well! The best of the best!!

Not only was the dance floor packed all night – it was overflowing with our guests dancing between the tables – mission accomplished and a dream come true for me! Jennifer was so wonderful to work with in the weeks leading up to our wedding and set up multiple phone calls with us to go over single detail (as a bride planning a wedding out of state – this was extremely comforting to know that Jennifer and Chateau Band were so on top of things!) I completely understand this isn’t the norm, which is why we’re so incredibly thankful to Sid and Chateau Band, but they learned not one – but two special songs for us. The first song was “Twist & Shout” by the Beatles, a favorite of our family. Sid and Jennifer worked with me to surprise my dad for our father daughter dance. I will never forget the look on his face when the band transitioned from our slow father daughter dance song into his Beatles’ favorite to get the dance party started. The second song they learned was a surprise to myself and my husband as well. In the planning process with Chateau, you send them a list of DJ songs that isn’t on their set list you would like them to play during their breaks. On the top of our DJ song list marked must-play was “Africa” by Toto, my husband’s all-time favorite, silly party song. When Chateau announced it was their last song of the evening and struck up the cords to “Africa”, they ensured another look I’ve never forget but this time around it was my husband. As all of guests formed a circle around my husband and myself dancing – I remember thinking best day ever is an understatement. I literally have tears welling up in my eyes typing this up thinking of all the beautiful, memorable moments Chateau Band created for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Sid & Jennifer helped us plan the evening, from the entrance announcements and introducing for the toasts, the first dance, open dancing and the bouquet toss. They also accommodated a few special requests I had. Throughout our reception, guests kept exclaiming how great the band was! Their style is to emulate the style of original songs- so they try to sound like the recording artists you know and aren't playing music no one's heard of. They have a real stage presence- performers with lots of energy, a sense of how to read/work the room, and true musical excellence! Trust me when I say that Chateau Band will not disappoint! Everyone had such a fantastic time, no doubt thanks to the tone Chateau set and the great beats that kept us dancing all night! Dancing to them at two weddings and planning our own, we highly recommend Chateau!

d. At my age I've been to a lot of weddings and the best times I've had were those with bands. So I went through the process of finding a band, asking friends, checking with different halls, and going on line. The later seemed to yield the best results. I started with about 8 possibilities before narrowing it down to 3 and finally 2. Of course Chateau was one of them and after listening to their music and talking with Sid a number of times I was fairly confident that Chateau was the band to go with. Well this was one of the best decisions I've made in my life. They were FANTASTIC. Sid told me his wife Jennifer was great with the planning and as the MC for the evening and that she was. Kathryn, our daughter, spoke with her a number of times and thought she was very helpful in planning the night so that everything would go smoothly and it did. I chose to have recorded music for cocktails and have the band play during dinner. When they started playing some classic Sinatra I stopped eating. I thought they'd be good but they were Great. I ended up eating very little and listening to them the entire set. Looking around the room I could see I wasn't alone. Before long they had guests interacting with the band and having lots of fun. As the evening went on more and more people asked," Where....did you get this band? they are FANTASTIC." The vocals were unbelievable, they sounded like the original artist. At times the guests thought it was recorded. Now I should bring this up, it was very important to me. I wanted people to be able to have conversation both during and after dinner. To be able to walk around and visit with family and friends without having to scream in each others ears. Sid knew exactly what I meant and I was not disappointed. Don't get me wrong, Kathryn went over the bands extensive play list and selected plenty of songs for the younger set to dance to and they had a great time. I wanted EVERYONE to enjoy the entire night and from all the comments we received I believe they did. I'm pretty sure there was a reason everyone, except a few, stayed till the very end.
