Chateau Band "best of the best"

If You’re Debating Between a DJ and a Live Band—Choose the Band. And If You’re Trying to Decide Which Band—Choose Chateau! Our daughter and her fiancé originally wanted a DJ. We convinced them to have Chateau instead. By the end of their wedding, they completely understood why—and were SO glad we had! Chateau performed at Grace and Reid’s August 8 wedding at the Detroit Athletic Club, and I truly cannot imagine the evening without them. They didn't simply provide the music—they created the energy of the entire reception. We had seen Chateau at two friends’ daughters’ weddings, so we already knew how talented they were. What we didn't fully appreciate until planning our own daughter's wedding was how professional and involved Sid and Jennifer are behind the scenes. They worked closely with us, Grace and Reid, our planner and the DAC team on song selections, ceremony music, introductions, timing and the overall flow of the evening. Our planner, venue team, photographer and videographer had all worked with Chateau before, and everyone told us: Sid and Jennifer know exactly what they are doing. They absolutely do. Their involvement even extended to the ceremony. For Grace’s processional to “What a Wonderful World,” Chateau provided a beautiful professional recording through their sound system, accompanied live by their saxophonist and our pianist. It was stunning. They coordinated every cue perfectly and did the same for the recessional to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” Then came the reception—and Chateau was phenomenal. They nailed the grand entrance. Every name was pronounced correctly, every cue was perfect, and Jennifer knew exactly how to build the excitement. When Grace and Reid entered, the room was electric. After a wonderful live dinner set and Grace and Reid’s first dance, the dance floor opened—and it stayed packed the entire night. Jennifer is a fabulous singer and exceptional MC with infectious energy and an incredible instinct for reading a room. And if you are considering Chateau, GET THE HORNS—all three of them! The saxophone, trombone and trumpet took the reception to another level. Several times they came off the stage and played right in the middle of the dance floor with our guests. Everyone absolutely loved it. Chateau moved seamlessly from classic Motown to modern favorites, but weeks later, our guests aren't talking about one particular song. They remember the EXPERIENCE—the packed dance floor, the horns and singers among the crowd, and the incredible energy Chateau brought to the room. We are still hearing how phenomenal the band was and how much fun everyone had. By the end of the night, Grace and Reid completely understood why we had encouraged them to choose a live band. Chateau fed off our guests’ energy, and our guests fed off theirs. At times, it honestly felt more like an incredible private concert than a wedding reception. Just as importantly, they were true professionals behind the scenes. They worked seamlessly with our planner and the DAC, understood the timeline, hit every cue and kept everything moving. Extraordinary musicians. A phenomenal MC. A packed dance floor. Incredible energy. And true professionals. Chateau wasn't simply one of our vendors. They were one of the reasons the reception was so memorable. My only regret? I don't have a second daughter to marry off so we could hire Chateau and do it all over again! Ten stars. Chateau Band was amazing! Truly one of the highlights of our wedding!! Our guests keep on raving about how good the band was. Our dance floor was packed all night and our guests had fun - which is exactly what we wanted! We also had so much fun coming on stage!! We loved when one of the musicians came down on the dance floor. We had a saxophone player during our grand entrance, they did an amazing job. We truly couldn't have asked for a better band to create such a memorable experience for us and our guests. Thank you so much!
