We booked with Joyce on the Chateau side and she and EVERYONE there was wonderful from the get! So sweet, so patient. She knew that the process was incredibly overwhelming for me and made me feel more comfortable about booking.
I was so pleased with the service and kindness of this venue! I am also SO HAPPY we booked the Four Seasons room versus on the Chateau side. The Chateau Del Mar is GORGEOUS, do not get me wrong but I loved that we had our own separate part of the venue. The only people on our side was our people from the wedding. The bar tenders were FANTASTIC, the service was speedy!! I cannot say ENOUGH about how happy I was with my day.
I did not want a wedding. I found them to be a waste of time, and now I am SO happy my husband made sure we had one. I was gifted one of THE BEST memories of my life. Thank you Kim and Hickory Hills Country Club. We are blessed to have found you!
Nice venue for the price. I really enjoyed working with Ashra and they did a great job of working with us to cater to our needs. I’d definitely recommend this place.

We were lucky to have had Aushra as our wedding coordinator, she was always prompt in returning our calls or answering the 100 questions we had for her, she was thorough and very professional, thank you, thank you, thank you Aushra for being so amazing to us! I have never ever felt so wonderful about doing business with a company. They made everything happen for us while respecting our budget, from the food to the napkin folds and everything inbetween they far surpassed our expectations. From the managers to all of the staff to the owner they were all wonderful throughout the process and made me feel like a queen on my wedding day. f I could go anywhere else again I would certainly go back to this business, again, I can't say how much I enjoyed having our wedding with them they were just absolutely wonderful I thank them from the bottom of my heart they made our wedding day so so so special! We still receive endless compliments on our beautiful venue!

nice and very easy to work with. They are very accommodating to any personalizing you would like to do to the venue. The food was really good, and they actually served an extra plate we did not choose or pay for, but hey it was free and delicious. There was a wedding going on next door and we did not hear their music interrupting our wedding. They handled everything and I can truly say I had a blast at my own wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to getting married.

if you're on a tight budget, Chateau del Mar is very affordable. The rooms are beautiful, especially the Barcelona Room - high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers and large open windows if you like natural lighting in your hall. Clean, humungous bathrooms, too!
We had our wedding in the Barcelona room here and it could not have been more gorgeous. Floor to ceiling windows over looking the golf course and it was such a great deal as well....
I think this is a hidden gem that people should check out!
I booked this hall for my wedding on 9/24/10. It was one of the few large enough to hold over 300 guests in my area. It is very pretty at first sight but I would recommend lookin...
g a little closer. The building is old and you can see a lot of wear and tear if you're looking for it. The people there were extremely nice but they do tend to upcharge for everything.

p in the barcelona room ( a much larger room...with a view!) after another party cancelled. we loved the staff. Joyce, in particular. she was so real and just pleasant to work with. because of her kindness, we were able to use the larger room. Our guests enjoyed the room, but weren't crazy about the washrooms downstairs. (there was an elevator...so not a big deal)
anyways, we would highly recommend this venue. the staff made the reception easy and were very attentive.
It was beautiful with starlight ceilings great staff felt very welcoming.;The ONLY bad thing was that the bathroom was downstairs but there was an elevator.
